Still, I've always been kinda interested if only because of its popularity with work colleagues. We recently came here to use up gift cards and meet up with friends, and were pleasantly surprised. I didn't know they had drive thru of that they have way more parking spaces than you see while casually driving past. The store is inviting and kinda perfect for hanging out. We interacted with a few staff and while friendliness varied, they were generally helpful and friendly. I'm not a coffee drinker so we picked up a few bites: the bacon gruyere egg bites were definitely the highlight and they were incredibly tender, well seasoned, nicely warmed up, and tasty. The quality of the sweets were overall what we expect from equivalent supermarket brand sweets. The pumpkin pepita bread was moist with a strong nutmeg flavour; banana walnut bread was unexpectedly bland but I liked the nuttiness; brownie was fudgy with chocolate chunks although not our favourite type; and chocolate croissant was more more a bread-y type, which is actually a common find. All in all impressed, and we'd consider this store for a future hangout.

I really liked it! I'm glad I finally got to go in and try it and I hope you go in if you haven't yet.

I loved that they actually stuff the cone instead of leaving the bottom hollow -- such a small detail but it makes a big difference! They're also super generous with samples, so you can try as many flavors as you need before deciding. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the shop itself has such a quaint country charm. There were tons of unique flavors too -- including fun Girl Scout cookie-inspired options and an amazing blueberry flavor that became my favorite. What really stood out to me was how attentive the service was. I ordered a combination cone and the server noticed a tiny bit of mint chip had mixed into the other flavor. She carefully scooped it out before serving it because she knew it would affect the flavor profile. Such a thoughtful touch and proof that they really care about the experience they give customers. Parking is easy and there is outdoor and indoor seating. Definitely worth a visit if you love homemade ice cream and kind people!

Blunder #1 Mad at myself, I sit in the sun bc the spot I wanted was already taken. 10 mins in and the guy leaves so I go to snag it and end up dumping my entire drink on the floor like a grenade explosion. Blunder #2 .Embarrased, I immediately start franticly scooping it back into the cup. The guy sat next to me immediately takes the cup out of my hands, tells me it's fine, gets me the same drink and mops up the mess all while telling me to sit somewhere dry and he'd take care of it. NEVER has that ever happened to me. He smiled and said something about "hey it could be worse!" I believe he might have been the manager? I must have said "I'm sorry" and thanked him like 50 times. Then was trying to figure out the outlet set up as my computer started to die and the kind woman on the other side of me and the manager both helped me figure it out without making me feel like a buffoon. (Sarah thank you for your kindness and the 10 min chat today.) Then a barista came over and handed me a treat bag. On it, it read "hope your day gets better" and when I tell you I TEARED UP! Inside was a cake pop on the house. I really mean it when I say little gestures like that can change someones entire day around. It sure did for me.
