They had some good flavors and offerings but as soon as I saw the pistachio/black raspberry twist soft serve, I knew I had to have it. I'm only sharing this because the note I left myself after eating at Nicky Doodles was: "Utica, bitches." That's right. This is Utica. It's technically New Hartford I guess, but it's as close to Utica as I've ever really gotten. And you know what? I'd come back. Nicky Doodles is basically just a roadside burger stand. It's not fancy, but it hits the spot. I had a burger, my kids had chicken fingers, and we all had fries and ice cream. And all of it tasted good, and it was served up by some nice girls in the window. There's nothing I'd like to change except the fact that one of my kids just seems to use food as a spoon for ketchup. Maybe she'll grow out of it?

A cheap quick place to grab a sandwich. Looks like outdoor dining, windows to order from . I got the hot dog with the works , and the roast beef sandwich. Both were like $5 each . I love my condiments but the hot dog had so much stuff on it , the hot dog was lost somewhere in that pile . It was so soggy it was almost impossible to eat . The roast beef sandwich was the better of the two, I've had $15 sandwiches that's not as good , it's on a small burger bun with over an inch of meat and sauce , also a mess , but that's why it's $5 ! So good . Also a little messy . But tasty ! There was a line , but there quick to fill the orders , give it a try !

My son loved his beef tacos and said they were as good as the ones he gets in Phoenix or when he travels to Mexico. I opted for the lunch quesadilla which was good though I prefer mine more crispy but the chicken was good and very tender. Definitely a great lunch.
