So services requested were three items: Retaining wall, Artificial grass installation, and concrete pad. Ultimately, I pulled the plug on the original job as the first day of work showed the quality was less then expected and some questionable decisions were made. The concrete was poured and mixed poorly. My neighbors all stop by to warn me as the dry mix was just being poured all over the place and directly into the form rather than the mixer. Resulting in a uneven and unleveled product where concert was already falling off on the sides. Artificial grass was installed the same day as the concrete which was weird as the concrete wasn't finished curing yet. It was cut into two pieces and when asked why he'd done so I was told it was the cover the ground which is what the weed barrier was doing. Questions about the weed killer used led me to find bug killer in my recycling, so not sure if that was done right until now since weeds already coming up. Next day the parts of the job was cancelled and changed to grading and laying down mulch. They decided to get mulched in bulk but it was absolutely too much and ground wasn't graded. Talking to some other contractors now to fix what was done. Take this as a lesson learned hire a contractor that does only the one thing ensure you know they have the experience and the quality you're looking for. read more
