If you have Tuu Ng as your pool tech expect to waste your money, HORRIBLE! But they sure will withdraw money out on the first of the month even without servicing your pool. We just went through the Holiday season with NO Tech showing up to service our pool. Again, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! How awesome it was to have our family in town for a green pool. My family bought a 15K hot tub for our lake house. When ordering the hot tub, we discussed with the…read moresales man for speakers and being able to remotely turn on the hot tub. Post installation and pool school, there is no remote turn on. This was discussed with the owner and he notes that it was not in the order form and we did not read the contract closely enough. Alright? But again, we worked with a sales person and we would not know how to look for that within the sales document. Now a year later, we cannot get in the hot tub unless someone sleeps at the lake house over night and turns it on at 9 am since we cannot turn it on remotely. So, beware of the salesman. Also, at the time of purchase it was 2024, why sell anything without Bluetooth? Also we had to have two pool schools because the first person who arrived did not how to even use our salt hot tub.

Working with Lucent Pools has been a fantastic experience - has anyone ever said that about working…read morewith a pool company? In this case it is 100% true! From my first phone call with them and then every step of the way they have been wonderful. I needed the tile around my hot tub (into my pool) and then from my pool into the overflow basin removed and replaced and also leveled off so the water flowed evenly. They had to empty the pool to do so, so I had them include an acid wash as well. The entire process too 4 days start to finish and the pools looks fantastic now! The owner, Justin, was on site every day checking on the work, kept in constant contact and the work was exceptional! He was responsive to questions and always honest, giving me options. When he came to do a final walkthrough, I had a leak on a part of the pool equipment so he changed that out for me as well! I highly recommend Lucent for all your swimming pool needs.

I will say that he is knowledgable about pool maintenance and pool equipment. What he doesn't seem…read moreto appreciate is that homeowners have budgets and that we need some idea of the costs associated with home maintenance costs; including maintaining a pool. He thinks that he should not be questioned about his billing practices and believes that you should pay whatever number he comes up with without question. Simply telling a customer that chemical prices fluctuate, and pay whatever I say, is untenable. I also didn't appreciate him trying to goad me into a discussion about politics by saying more than once: "the price of chemicals have gone up since Biden became President." Just tell me how much it will cost to clear my pool, I'm not interested in your political views! He will never tell you how much you can expect to pay per month, only give you some a wide "possible" price range. Also, his utter arrogance was also a turn off. When I said he was too expensive or that questioned the basis for his exorbitant billing practices, he arrogantly told me that: "You want the best services for the cheapest price. And it just doesn't exist. You will always get what you pay for." In other words, if I don't use him and pay his unsubstantiated costs, I will not find other quality pool maintenance service providers. Finally, I offered to pay for July ($500!!!!), but not after, and then he immediately dropped me as a customer and charged me $274 for 1 visit; and my pool still had dirt on the bottom of it. Be careful in dealing with him, his knowledge of pools and pool equipment will distract you from his unqualified and unsubstantiated billing practices. I know he'll get on here an attack everything I've said, further showing his arrogance and inability to listen to customer concerns. Fortunately, I've kept all of the text messages between us as proof of what I've said.
