He is very knowledgeable about the area which brings a lot to the table when you're looking in different neighborhoods. Blocks away a home might sell for 20% less just due to the fact of the neighborhood and if you're not a local, you won't know the difference. This is where Stewart will guide you through. Stewart will be very honest with you about a property. If it is something that he personally doesn't like you will know it. Living in Chicago and wanting to purchase a second home in Palm Springs, I spent days researching Palm Springs real estate brokers. After extensive due dilligence and a 20 minute introductory call, Stewart was my first and only choice - I never called another broker. And with good reason, he was everything we were looking for. And, over the 6 months we worked with him searching for our new home - he exceeded expectations. Let's just start with the basics: He's professional, dependable, deeply knowledgable about real estate, neighborhoods, values, etc., affable and charming - the kind of guy you not only want to do business with, but also share a drink with. To be honest, his greatest value to us was his consistently excellent, honest advice. He's a straight shooter. He steered us away from over-priced properties, told us on one occasion - "you could do better" and even when we were hit on our bid and backed out of that purchase decision within 24 hours, he was non-plussed and encouraging.
