My boyfriend paid roughly $175 for a new battery. I was afraid that they would damage it more or remove all my data, and that they did. I was given my tablet back with a broken screen (ruined my ART tablet with PRESSURE SENSITIVITY with an apple pen), a chip (moreso chunk) of the glass on my screen was GONE and the screen was completely cracked. They filled the missing chunk with resin to "fix" the issue. Not only that, but my power button NO LONGER WORKED. They "enabled controls" so I had to turn off my tablet with buttons on the screen. They accused me of saying the reason why the screen was was broke is because of "micro cracks" that couldn't be seen when they tried to remove the screen. Never told me the reason my power button is broke. When I got home I didn't think it could get any worse, but once it was almost dead I plugged it in only to find out IT DID NOT CHARGE. They did not fix my battery issue and so my mom took it in because they didn't fix the battery, they took it in the back and gave it to my mom saying it charges fine (it still doesnt) and after that day she took it, when it was off and I tried to turn it on, it showed that IOS needed to be restored, which means they DELETED IOS off my tablet completely, which in return makes me lose ALL of my data and things on my tablet. So, in all they broke my screen, power button, removed IOS off my tablet, and didn't even fix the issue. They refused to refund my boyfriend or fix what they broke, rather offered to fix it for blank price. Now I will have to take my tablet in to get fixes for repairs that can range from $500-$800. Thanks for nothing.

I did a Google search and found Yelp. I made a request to have a piece of electronic equipment…read morerepaired (installation of a new frontal display). A few days later I started getting several responses. Only one said that he could fix it, and it was Damon. I contacted him and later that afternoon he said that he could come to my home and fix it. When he showed up he started working on it immediately. I stood there and watched him take the unit apart until he finally reached the display. He removed it and replaced it with a new one that I had recently purchased online. After he put it back together I plugged it in and tested it and it worked perfectly. Damon had accomplished what I could never have done. I paid his fee, but I owe him a debt of gratitude. Thank you so much, Damon. You are one of a kind.

John was very professional, polite and very patient with all my questions - and he tried to save me money by explaining that even if the sellers and their friends and family all had copies of the manuals for the old locks they could not override them once he programmed a new code into them, but my peace of mind was worth the expense of the two new electronic locks. John also rekeyed my old-timey mechanical locks for the walk-in entry to the garage. I can't recommend John The Locksmith highly enough, he's the only locksmith I will use from now on. After not hearing back from them for a week, I called them asking when they would get around to it (was told it was assigned to a tech but not gotten to yet) I could tell by their response they had to get onto tech to get to it. Then they called me the following Monday saying it was done. When I brought it home it was trashed, filled with dirt and the head was super dirty. Picture and audio were x10 worse. Came back in asking what they were willing to do to make it right, and they just kept saying bring it back. I dont trust them with my property again. They charged me 150 dollars to trash my property and make it worse. Take your business elsewhere.

But as for my experience trying to get my speaker repaired here, I definitely can NOT recommend anything gets repaired here. I dropped off my speaker on 9/30 and was told it would be 3-5 days to get a diagnosis and quote. This was the only time I received communication from them. After this, I waited until 10/8 (8 days) to call the store and was told the quoted repair and diagnosis. I was not given an estimated date of completion. I waited until 10/20 to call again and was not given any other update other than it would be done "soon" On 10/30 (a month after I dropped off) I went to the store to ask for an update in person. I was told a part was being ordered and to wait another week. After a week, I called the store again just to be told again they were still waiting on the part... On 11/7 I emailed the support email on their website to request some kind of details or an estimate for completion. Never received an answer. On 11/17 I finally went into the store and requested my speaker back unrepaired so I could deal with it elsewhere. Throughout this process, the front desk was always friendly, and they were polite when I requested my speaker back, so no complaints there. However, I am appalled by the lack of communication from this business. Except for the initial 3-5 day expectation for a quote, which wasn't actually met, as I had to call after 8 days, I was never kept informed. I recognize that I majored in communications, so maybe my standard for communication is higher than most. Still, despite that, Video Revolution is not a good place to get your tech repaired.
