I saw some many figs in the back and a few different unique dice sets at the counter area. When asking the staff member working what Welcome Decks were he used some great customer service skills and gifted me the entire set, because they were there to give away. He was informative and kind. I observed him waiting on other shoppers, and he did well overall. I think this is a great place for buying and playing tabletop games. The store had a quiet ambiance where it was easy to be heard, and it seemed very laid-back. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a less stimulating environment for tabletop games!

We have a couple favorites at this point and Dreamers Vault is one of them. The other night we popped in an hour before closing to grab 30-40 singles. I can see how this would be annoying but it didn't matter to Nick at all! He spent a ton of time with us going through our lists and pulling everything we needed (even when we should've done it online to save him the hassle). He even had a buddy there to keep him company who pulled some cards for us that were hiding in a book. It was a really cool experience to chat magic and not feel like we were being a burden by pulling so many individual cards. Some reviews are hard to write because there just isn't enough to say. This isn't one of those times. I have been to this location several times and could go on for days about how helpful and genuine all of the employees are. Dreamers Vault has made me feel so comfortable as a new Magic player, a beginner D&D player, and as a person. I look forward to coming back again and again! Playing weekly will not save you from the potential 4 times as much upcharge for product. When they receive *free* promos to give out for weekly TCGs- they won't make you go another round to have an ultimate winner- you can go undefeated and they still will not give you the "winners" pack. All other game stores in MN wouldn't keep their free promos like that. Again, staff is great- be kind. But DONT make this your new card shop. The company doesn't care about you at all- straight vultures.

The employees were busy but were still able to help us get a few things. Prices are what you expect at a retail store, higher than online for the most part. If you are looking to play in tournaments, have a fun dnd or board game night this would be a good place to do it.

I tried explaining that I had a console to test the discs but simply require a controller to verify the discs before discussing a sale. The idea was simple and transparency benefits both parties. Jake told me they don't test games for "liability reasons." I found that rather strange. We weren't defusing a bomb here, just trying to see whether some video games worked. How else do you do trade-ins if you don't check the trade-in? When I questioned the policy, Jake characterized my request as asking for a "favor." That was an odd way to frame a mutually beneficial transaction. I wasn't asking for something for nothing. Before I finish explaining, Jake asked me to leave. The issue is how quickly a routine business inquiry became unnecessarily confrontational. I went to another local game store afterward and had a substantially better experience. It's unfortunate. I was a potential customer with merchandise to sell and an interest in doing future business. Instead, I left feeling that asserting authority mattered more than having a conversation. Customer service isn't about agreeing to every request. Sometimes it's simply about listening long enough to understand one.

They even have a few on display that you can take to a table and try out. But that's not all. They even have a fully functioning kitchen so you can order food while you game.
