This review is the culmination of the last three visits to this local gas station. Each previous…read moretime something has happened (failure of pump to print receipt both times, unfriendly cashier, etc.) and I'd tell myself this was the last time I'd stop here to get gas. I'm a pretty forgiving person and it's close to home, so I gave it a couple more trys. Today was the decision maker that I'll never stop here again. There are too many other places to get gas. Today when I stopped for gas the sign said $2.53, but I learned the hard way the last time that the sign changes to show what they call an "Easy Pay" price (lower) and a "Credit" price (higher). There's a few second delay in the sign changing, so if you don't know they show two prices, you could be confused. I knew to look for the "Credit" price because I always pay with my card, but as I was pumping the gas into my car, I noticed the pump price was $2.649. That was completely different than either price on the sign. I was going to fill up, but decided to stop where I was ($15.00) and go in to get my receipt and talk to the manager about the different prices. There was no one else at the register, so I went to the side where the woman was standing, assuming she'd see me. I stood there for a minute without her even acknowledging that I was there, then called another employee who was stocking the shelves up to help me. He didn't know how to pull the receipt from the register, so he asked her for help. She seemed very irritated but showed him how to do it. The reason I wanted the receipt was to see what I was actually charged for the gas. I was charged the highest price of $2.649, the price on the pump. When I mentioned the discrepancy, she got an attitude and said she was trying to change the prices on the pumps because prices just changed in the last five minutes. I stepped out of line so other customers could check out, but waited a good ten minutes for her to do whatever she needed to do. Long story short, she refunded $.35 back to my credit card. I know that's not much and some people would have just let it go, especially because of having to wait and the attitude, but when I thought about it...she didn't need to be so irritated when dealing with an issue. And if they do that for every customer every day, that adds up. Just watch the sign and the pumps if you stop here for gas. As for me, I won't be back.

I had my truck towed to Irace Automotive over Memorial Day weekend after the alternator failed. The…read moretowing was fast and professional, but the repair experience was awful. They charged me $1,800.81, including $349.99 for the alternator part, $140 for one hour of labor, $644 for 4.6 hours to replace power steering lines, and other fees. Regardless they failed to resolve the power steering leak, which I had already reported. When I picked up the truck, the hood was bent, the prop rod was detached, rubber seals were torn, and tool marks were visible. The steering fluid was still leaking, and the wheel remained stiff. They scheduled a pickup for June 4 to inspect the issues and never showed up or followed up. After a second mechanic found several problems Irace never mentioned, I can confidently say I paid more for careless, incomplete work and now have a truck in worse condition than before. My car was having issues starting and they told me I had to get both an ignition cylinder lock and ignition switch and quoted $1200 to replace both. When I asked them to explain what's wrong with it, they made something up about a rod being broken and because of how the car was made I HAD to replace both parts, and they would've had to reprogram a new key. I spent 30 minutes researching and figured out they lied and I only needed the switch which is an extremely easy fix and I did not need to replace both. All I needed was a 10 minute YouTube video. They lied and tried to rip me off probably assuming a woman wouldn't know any better.
