I requested a different antibiotic than the one she recommended, based on previous experience and test results, and she stated that she was going to chart that I refused recommended treatment. Ok fine. She was extremely rude, the staff were unhelpful, and I will never be returning to this location again.

Nobody was in the waiting room when I arrived, which was good since a doctor's office is always full. Ensure you complete the check-in they text you before you arrive, because they will not even check you in. It was all relatively easy and fast. The nurse came, did the triage, and then the doctor came in to assess. They discarded the things that were not wrong, but again, they did not tell me what was wrong. I think it's not bad for an emergency, but if it's something that you could go to the doctor to better diagnose, I would go.

I'm not really sure if the perceived change is actually her or a symptom of changes in healthcare as a whole.

I'd say that you should absolutely insist on some kind of printout when you visit Piedmont Physicians of Midtown that proves that your parking was paid. They looked at us and we looked at them through the entry door window that leads back to the treatment area. I asked if I could call her right quick on the phone she said no. I said I could email her. She will not assist with that. She said if I did they would get back to me in a few days as I'm standing there with no one in the waiting room and no patients coming or going. The administrative staff is rude and combative, especially the office manager. My last visit was a follow-up for blood work, which somehow took an hour. The office manager, who was not wearing a mask, would not let my partner accompany me inside due to Covid. One would think that she would be wearing a mask if Covid was a concern, but alas. They sent my pharmacy conflicting prescriptions, the blood work left a bruise for over a week, every appointment take at least an hour, usually closer to 2 hours, you spend all of your time waiting in a room before talking to a PA for maybe 5 minutes. It's an all around awful experience.

This is probably true at all doctors' offices today, but I still hate it. I am very happy that Dr. Coleman moved from his old office in Piedmont Hospital to the new Piedmont Physicians Group branch in Atlantic Station. Parking is so much more convenient now. What makes the office work is doctor Amy Wu She's a great Physician. She is personable and competent. There's on site lab with a great phlebotomy. Doctor Wu takes her own vital signs and does her own History and physical exam, which is unusual in modern medicine. ​ The one medical model is great and I endorse it it's a bargain.
