A very kind and gentle man with a wonderful bedside manner and most importantly a very skillful surgeon. Dr Rotter makes a very frightening situation a whole lot easier. Skin cancer is no joke ... a gift from my Scottish heritage and years of sunburn's pre sunscreen. I've been seeing Dr Rotter for over 20 years for basal and squamous cell cancer on my face, nose, arms, hands, legs, foot, chest, and back for Mohs surgery (named after Dr Moh).
I guess you could say I'm a frequent flyer.
Twenty years ago, my local dermatologist, removed a squamous cell cancer on my leg, stitched me up and sent what he removed to pathology, I remember it being very painful and slow healing. I went to have the stitches removed @ 3 weeks and was told he needed to go back in, because the pathology report showed he didn't get it all. That's when I found Dr Rotter, I drive over an hour to get to his office and would never go anywhere else !!!
Very, organized, very kind and knowledgeable staff. Moira, my angel in disguise, was by my side, very calming, comforting while assisting Dr Rotter. Moira takes pictures before, during and post op, I prefer not to see them, afraid I'll pass out. read more
