I've been getting disport and filler for many years and for coming to Maryland I know I need to get a new plastic surgeon that I trusted. My other plastic surgeon was board-certified and was a Harvard graduate and was top notch. I have to say that Dr Rottman is second to none. He's very natural, and listens to what your needs are. I would recommend Dr Rottman for anyone who wants to look and feel better! read more

Steven J. Rottman, MD - Filler under eye, dysport, and lips! I am 41 and look 30!! - Plastic Surgeons Near Me - Owings Mills, Maryland

I would absolutely recommend him for tummy and lower body lift ( excellent with those) but do not have him perform your brachioplasty. The brachioplasty scar is in the back so everyone behind you can see it and one of my arms is misshaped. The first time I was extremely unhappy with the scar placement in the back. He said he could fix it with a revision (I had to pay again) and move the scar inwards and now the scars are still in the back bigger than before and my right arm is misshaped. After paying that much and you are stopped and asked "what happened to you?" when I wear a short sleeve shirt ... it is very depressing. Absolutely recommend him for the body but not arms. read more

Dr. Rottman and his team (inlcuding Bob, his anesthesiologist) are amazing! They put me at ease and calmed my nerves. They are extremely professional. I knew I was in good hands. They also periodically check up on me after my procedure. I highly recommned Dr. Rottman and his team. read more

Loved the location and felt at ease. However, I was using a Groupon coupon for Dysport and on reflection I think overall the service is probably not as good as if I was as a 'full fare paying patient'. Initially, I thought my introduction was friendly, helpful and kind but actually thinking about it, it was a clever ploy to encourage me to buy another area at a 'special rate' (which incidentally I did). There is no real consultation with Dr Rottman which if you were paying the full price, you'd probably get. He didn't really look or ask me what I was trying to achieve (maybe it was obvious?) There has been no follow up calls to make sure I am ok or if I am happy with the results. Which, if you want me as a future customer, you should be doing!!! The results were 'ok' not great, I was left with creases right at the top of my forehead which did not look great and even worse my left eye was really droopy which meant I had to keep lifting my eyelid up to apply makeup and mascara. I had to see a doctor at Johns Hopkins about a different matter and they noticed my eyelid, they could see what had happened and thought that it had not been injected with enough care. I'm fairly sure that because I used a Groupon initially I have been treated like a second class client, especially when I paid their 'special deal' the following week. One thing a good business should always do is look after every customer, regardless of how much money they spend! Because you never know how much they may spend in the future! read more

I can not say enough about how amazing Dr. Rottman is. I was referred to Dr Rottman by another plastic surgeon because I was interested in getting breast augmentation. I was advised that he specialized in breast augmentations and simply he was the best surgeon to go to. And that was from one of his peers. My first visit with Dr Rottman solidified the referral. He was extremely professional, and completely on top of all the newest advancements in augmentations. I felt I had done my research before my visit, and he was still able to teach me some things and make me aware of some things I didn't think about. He also recommended I visited other surgeons to make sure I found a surgeon I was happy with. At the same time, I had 2 other friends that were interested in Breast augmentation, so I went with them to their consultations as well to see what their doctors advised. My visit with Dr Rottman allowed me to see through the smoke and mirrors of the other surgeons and ask the questions they were obviously trying to talk around. In the end, I chose Dr. Rottman, one of my friends chose Luxxery Plastic Surgery (Dr Hakki), and the other chose Bella Cosmetic Surgery. All of us paid right about the same, so his pricing is on par with industry. My surgery was performed with absolutely no issues. I had minimal discomfort and was back to my normal work out routine, which include push up, in no time. My scars are minimal and my breasts are amazing! I also appreciate his bedside matter. I really feel like a part of his family. I have since visited his office for recommendation on sports bras, and check ups to make sure my breast are properly healed. I know that I am not just a face, but a member of the family when I come into his office. The proof is in the result. Between the three of us, my breast look the most natural, and I have absolutely NO issues with my result. Both of my friends wish they had listened to me instead of going with their surgeons. One of my friends is already seeking a revision because she feels that hers are messed up. I an so thankful for my experience with Dr. Rottman. He is truly an amazing plastic surgeon that cares about his patients and has an amazing eye for perfection. I can assure you, this is just he beginning of a beautiful relationship. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Rottman for around 2 years. He's amazing! Always listens to what I want and tells me if I don't need it. His front office staff is pretty amazing too. I imagine she'd be irreplaceable if she left. Good help is truly hard to find and so many places see the front office first. They truly are the 'face' of the company. She has a great attitude and always friendly. read more

Dr. Rottman and his staff are wonderful. I have received lip injections from Dr. Rottman over the course of two years and have been extremely happy with the results each time. I recently went to him for breast surgery and words cannot express how pleased I am with the results, the care, and personal attention I received. Dr. Rottman has personally checked on me many times following my surgery and I feel completely at ease knowing I can contact him at anytime, should I have any questions or concerns. To have your surgeons personal cell phone number and to receive a response within minutes is a luxury, and one that speaks volumes for the type of doctor he is. I've never wanted to appear "fake" and Dr. Rottman has always given me the natural look I've desired. read more

I went to Dr. Rottman because of his outstanding Yelp reviews but I wouldn't rate him as high; so I figured I should come on and leave a review... I'm sure he's a great plastic surgeon but a few things about my visit would not allow me to recommend him in good conscience.... First, I must mention the positive, the facility seemed to be very clean and sterile and the staff and doctor were polite enough. However, I thought it was very weird that you couldn't see the consent forms you were signing... They offered to print them out for you to read but still when you signed them you could not physically see what you were signing as they had you sign an electronic pad with the computer screen turned away from the patient. Being in intelligence this goes against every thing I've ever been trained on or taught. Also when I went in to the treatment room for the Botox the syringes were already filled. I was told by previous plastic surgeons that you should watch the Doctor fill the syringe ensuring that the bottle has not been tampered with and is in fact what you want injected into you. Other doctors have said that some shady doctors will fill the syringe with the cheaper product to save money. While at my visit I kept getting hassled to change to Dysport (cheaper product) saying it was so much better. I've done my research and know that Dysport is cheaper and that it works faster, however from personal experience it does not last as long despite product reviews... I thought this combined with the paperwork signing and the syringes being pre-filled was very unprofessional and would not go back to this office or recommend them. read more

I have been to Dr.Rottman on a few occasions and at an event and I've been so happy every time!! The staff, Beth and Kelly, really listen to my thoughts and concerns and make sure the doctor is well aware. Dr. Rottman's bedside manner is caring and professional. The entire staff give me personal treatment and I always have an excellent result. They always numb my face beforehand and help thru the procedure. I've gotten Dysport, Restylane, Juvaderm, and Botox, as well as Latisse and Obaji products including retin-A cream. They take Care Credit as well so I can always get what I want!!!! I only use Dr. Rottman now. read more

This practice is over priced. Doctor has little experience in treatment. No doubt product ( Botox, Juvederm ) does delivery what it suppose to. But if application was poorly placed then your pretty much screw with a mess up procedure until the solution wears off. $600+ per treated area is a waste. When they don't even used up the whole syringe. So if you want to get 4 areas treated. Your looking at $2400. You should only get charge what you actually use. They also charge $4-20 to park depends on how long your in the building. They run Groupon to get you in as bait. Then charge you full price for another area. So really there is no discount at all. read more

Dr. Rottman and his staff have been extremely helpful and has been there for me all the way from my initial consult and still checks on me regularly between my post op appointments since I am only 2.5 weeks post op. I've seen Dr. Rottman for three years for Botox and fillers and have been very pleased with the results. He and his team are phenomenal.

I had a great experience with Dr. Rottman and his staff. There was no wait and the procedure was quick and painless. I love my Dysport results, and it's lasted two full months more than my last Botox treatment (not preformed from Dr. Rottman) His prices were well below the other surrounding surgeons and he was honest and professional. I've already made an appointment for my next treatment. I am beyond satisfied. read more

I purchased the groupon for 60 units of dysport and was very eager to make my appointment. Upon calling the office, the receptionist was very friendly and was able to make my appointment at the Owings Mills location the next day. I was told to arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Upon arriving I waited in the office for over 20 minutes without any acknowledgement. I then asked for help from a staff member from another doctors practice for assistance, and I was led to an office with Dr Rottmans receptionist. Although she was very nice and helpful, she told me that I needed much more product than I usually receive. ( I have been getting dysport to my crows feet and frown lines for several years and through trial and error have figured out what works best for me as I prefer a much more natural than frozen look). Although I found this unusual, as generally the doctor will determine your needs, I agreed and ended up paying an additional 400.00 in addition to the 149.00 I paid for the groupon. This was far more expensive than I have previously paid when working with a very well known plastic surgeon who specializes in injections. There certainly was no discount. Upon meeting Dr Rottmans and his assistant, they were both very friendly, the injections were quick and painless. I did however find it unnerving that unlike other practices, Dr Rottman did not mix the solution in front of me nor did he analyze my facial movements when he was performing the injections. This was very different than any previous experience I have had. Now that I have had enough time to let the injections work, I am able to see my results. Although they have taken the edge off of my fine lines, they certainly have not been fully effective in reducing completely. This perplexes me as I paid to receive far more dysport than I would usually receive, you would think my results would be more noticeable. In my experience, I feel that Dr Rottman and his staff are very friendly, however I would not recommend him for facial injections. I will not be returning. read more

My sister had been a patient of Dr. Rottman's for breast reconstruction as a result of breast cancer. She had such a good experience and results with Dr. Rottman, that she suggested I meet with him. I am the mother of twins and as a result was in need of a tummy tuck. In meeting with Dr. Rottman, it was decided that I would have a tummy tuck and also lipo suction of my back. I found him to be very knowledgable and his manner to be very kind and comforting. He and his staff spent as much time as I needed during the consultation to explain the procedures and to answer any and all questions. I found his office to run smoothly and his staff to be very friendly and professional. Brooke was my main contact and she was so kind to deal with and could not have been nicer or more professional! I had researched the procedure but was still not quite sure what to expect. I will say that it was better than I could have imagined. My surgery was done at Northwest Hospital. The staff there was amazing and did everything they could for me. I experienced an unexpected allergic reaction to the pain medication and the nurses were so attentive, kind and professional. Dr. Rottman's surgical method made my recovery very smooth and thankfully, uneventful. I had a major tummy tuck, with reconstruction of my abdominal muscles and lipo suction of my back, Initially, I had the normal restrictions of rest and limited movement but I was able to shower within 2 days, and had little to no pain within a few days as well. Due to the extent of the procedure that I personally had done, my total recovery took about 3 months. During that time, I followed all instructions given by Dr. Rottman during my follow up appointments, and the results are unbelievable! It has been over six months and I am continually getting compliments! I will add that my husband found Dr. Rottman to be confident and reassuring during his conversations before and after the procedure. I would also recommend Northwest Hospital for this type of elective surgery. read more
