The brachioplasty scar is in the back so everyone behind you can see it and one of my arms is misshaped. The first time I was extremely unhappy with the scar placement in the back. He said he could fix it with a revision (I had to pay again) and move the scar inwards and now the scars are still in the back bigger than before and my right arm is misshaped. After paying that much and you are stopped and asked "what happened to you?" when I wear a short sleeve shirt ... it is very depressing. Absolutely recommend him for the body but not arms.

He also performed platysmaplasty with chin/jawline liposuction. I didn't want a drastic change; however, I had finally had it with my long, humped nose and undefined jawline....no matter how thin I was. From my first meeting with Dr. Papel, I felt at ease. His bedside manner is unparalleled, as he spent over an hour speaking with me and explaining which procedures he believed would address my concerns. He took photographs of me and was able to generate images of the expected results (not exact, of course), which he showed me at a second meeting. After much research and discussions with friends, who are in the medical field and familiar with the Baltimore area plastic surgeons, I decided to go with Dr. Papel. On the day of the surgery, the doctor took time, again, to review the procedures he was performing. I then met with the anesthesiologist and was taken into the surgical area. The entire surgical staff was kind and made feel completely comfortable. My recovery went as explained/expected and now I have a beautiful nose that suits my face and an amazing jawline! It has been a little over three months since my surgery and I had another follow-up today with Dr. Papel. The healing is going as expected and I couldn't be happier. I should also mention that the office staff is always friendly and a delight to interact with. I highly recommend Dr. Papel and will be returning to him for any future procedures. I have also recommended him to family and friends.

I did not look this way at all prior to my first visit. I went into the office to show her, and she seemed to think it was fine, and said I just needed more filler. She botched my face. I looked like I had rocks in my face, with a huge hole in my cheek. I subsequently went to another plastic surgeon that couldn't believe what she did to my face. It took 3 visits by another surgeon to reverse what she did. DO NOT USE Dr. Kontis!!!

When I first went to see him 20 years ago he listened to my concerns and right away put me at ease. We found a solution to my health issue. Another major plus in my book. I waited less than 10 minutes before being taken to the exam room. I was in and out of the door in about 30 minutes. Doctor Snyder has a very VERY odd sense of humor and it is most often times inappropriate and can been felt as condescending. He can be very unprofessional (not in an adult/dirty way). He will put information in his notes that is just plain false. For example, I looked, because it's MY information, and noticed that he claimed to have advised me and recommended certain things. When I asked, yes, he did tell me, but he only mentioned those things after I asked. I asked after he closed the screen as he could have been about to tell me those things. He is very knowledgeable, but wants to show it, and for you to know that he is very knowledgeable. This is why, in my opinion, he very often jumps in to answer a question without the question being asked...he assumes what you may be about to ask. In my opinion, this is just rude. You can and should wait until I asked the question fully, to ensure that you understand it, and then answer. Again, his personality is very offputting and just not inviting or welcoming. I want my doctor to be very knowledgeable, but I also don't like being interrupted when I'm telling you something that is of concern to me. Just listen, then speak, like I do when you are talking. We can sing at the same time, but we cannot effectively talk at the same time. The level of care received is standard, again, he is knowledgeable.

During my initial consultation, Dr. Tag, who is as pleasant as his staff, explained very clearly what I could expect, and what I should NOT expect from the surgery. The surgery itself at Windsor Mill Surgery Center went smoothly, and the recovery was much easier than I had expected. Of course, the most important thing is the result. I am VERY happy with my appearance, and my friends say I look great.
