It was a difficult to get an appointment that worked with my availability, a sign that he's in high demand, or maybe I just have a rough work schedule lol. I had a less than ideal time scheduled, but the front desk staff had me to the call back list if anything came up that would work better for me. After getting 2 calls a better time did become available and my appointment was switched. Let me start by saying Dr. Goldstein is a wonderful physician. He was patient and thorough. He listened to my concerns and provided great recommendations. However, my first visit wasn't without some frustration! The wait time was literally killing me. I got to the office at 8:30am, as a new patient I was asked to arrive early for the new patient paperwork. The forms took me about seven minutes to complete, there was a total of six pages. The paperwork could really use an update. The font is tiny and hard to read, even for someone with good vision, and the print quality isn't great. Being that the office already uses an online patient portal, it would more helpful to make the new patient forms digital. After completing my forms, the waiting begun. I saw many patients arriving after me, some new and were called into exam rooms before me. By 9:30 I was finally brought into an exam room where an assistant took some information and set things up for the doctor. Then, more waiting. Dr. Goldstein didn't come in until 10:30. Dr. Goldstein was excellent once he arrived. The scheduling and time management definitely needs improvement. It's hard for working people to take time off and extend wait times like this only adds unnecessary stress.. It would be nice to feel that our time is respected just as much as the doctors. On a positive note, the office itself is very clean. Well kept in the front desk staff is friendly. I will continue to see Dr. Goldstein despite the not so great reviews that have been left. I hope that time management is improved by the time my next appointment comes around.

He's listed as a provider under Ambetter so I chose this insurance company. I called today to make an appointment only to be told by an extremely rude member of his staff that they do not accept Ambetter... when I asked why he was listed as a provider, I was told that the corporate group accepts that insurance but he doesn't. I then asked how was I supposed to know that since he shows up as a provider her response was that "I should have called the office... I'll have ro find another dr.! I'm not going that easy...as a radio host it'll be the subject of my shows for the next MONTH! RUDE people have no place in customer service positions! I guess my loyalty to his practice means nothing therefore I'll have no problem trashing it on air! Shame on you Dr. Bates for allowing what you've built to tarnished by corporate mismanagement. I've checked with Ambetterb and they have you listed with a valid contract... in addition they have indicated that you have NOT submitted any paperwork to withdraw from their network... hence they will be filing a complaint against your practice which I will be posting on social network as soon as i get my hands on it. Your "first impression" team has failed miserably. I'm now committed to pay an insurance company for a year...that serves no purpose since I chose it so I could continue to have you as my primary care physician. Maybe... just maybe that woman that was so rude should pay more attention to having the correct information on the insurance site than being rude and callous to patients...! Dr Ead had nothing to with the surgeries, but such a tremendous help in the recovery process. Without getting too graphic, part of my healing process was the need for a catheter, first time ever -- in my "male organ" by a hospital emergency room medical staff. The pain and agony I had gone through. The following day I went to see, through a great referral from a surgeon I know, -- Dr Ead at his office. Dr Ead has a confident and assuring demeanor, with a good sense of humor, as well, and simply the magic touch in placing a new catheter in me, and several times thereafter. What a difference! When you're scheduled by his team, which in my scenario is Ms. Viviana, who is always a pleasure to talk to, and she is quick in answering any questions you may have. If you need to see the doctor, she makes sure that you are on his schedule. Another person that stands out is Ms. Lychee who makes sure your treatments are handled with any hospital with the up most care. And if something goes wrong with your procedure at the time you are in the hospital, she tackles the situation ASAP. Ms. Lychee is no joke when it comes to her patients. And Ms. Lychee will always have an answer for you. These two ladies stand out and are stellar in their profession. You can bet that your situation will be handled immediately. My husband has been going to this office for about 20 years and when another friend of mine recommended Dr. Moran I decided I would call and see if they would take me on as a new patient. The office is located in Plantation. It's an older building, but there is plenty of free parking all around. When I arrived at the office, there was not much of a wait, and the receptionist was friendly. She gave me some forms to fill out , (not too lengthy,) and I was called to come back as soon as I had completed the forms & paid my copayment. I had a nurse take my vitals and ask a little bit about my medical history. (I wasn't sick ; it was just a routine checkup.). Dr.Moran came in after a short wait. He was thorough, and easy to talk to. I didn't feel like I was being rushed out at all; we were able to have a honest conversation about my health. Upon checkout I scheduled my next appointment, and again the staff was extremely pleasant & helpful. I think I have found a new primary care doctor!
