From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by Amy at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and made me feel comfortable right away. I went to the office at 3682 Broadway. I came in for a crown and root canal, and the entire process was handled with great care. Chris, the hygienist, was superb. He had a pleasant demeanor, was very professional, and incredibly gentle. I especially appreciated how he consistently cleaned and sanitized his tools throughout the procedure--it really showed his attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Dr. Parisa was excellent. She was very gentle when administering the numbing injection, taking her time and even pausing to check if I was okay. During both my first and second visits, she was thorough, informative, and made sure I understood everything about my treatment. The entire team is warm and welcoming, and the office itself is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. I look forward to my upcoming visit, I a couple days. If you're looking for A1 treatment from true professionals who care about your comfort and your smile, this is the place to go. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I actually started nodding off (falling asleep) during my fillings recently. Normally I always aim to go downtown for all my doctor's appointments, but I'm very grateful to have found a local dentist within walking distance from my appartment with this level of care. 10/10 recommend to anyone in the area.

A year ago, my doctor referred me here for TMJ treatment before my condition worsened. I've been to…read morethis office before for tooth extractions -- the staff has always been friendly, but my experience with the doctor has been deeply disappointing. At first, he performed a procedure to relieve my TMJ pain, but it felt questionable since my condition was already advanced. About six months later, he claimed that extracting my wisdom teeth (all 4) would help -- something no other dentist had ever suggested. I even went to the ER for x-rays of my jaw and they did not mention the teeth. After the extractions, he never scheduled a follow-up to checked on my TMJ progress, just the wisdom teeth extraction. When I returned a year after my initial TMJ visit, he asked if I had any new tooth issues (despite knowing I was there for my jaw). When I said no, he dismissed my pain entirely and insisted nothing was wrong, even though my jaw is worse and has remained locked for the entire year under his care. I even requested a referral for a second opinion or maybe physical therapy, but he became defensive and continued to gaslight me. This behavior was incredibly unprofessional -- not only as a doctor but as a person. I was genuinely begging for help. It is the only help my family had for this since insurance puts us here. It became clear he's more focused on profit, especially from extractions, than on patient care. I used to trust this doctor, but over the past year, his behavior has been unsettling and is considered predatory. My TMJ is now far more severe, and I recently learned that wisdom tooth extractions can actually worsen TMJ -- something he should have known, and probably did know. My mother and I are both extremely disappointed and feel helpless, as the time window for effective treatment has passed due to his negligence. I strongly advise anyone with TMJ or similar conditions to seek care elsewhere. You can literally only go there for tooth extraction. That's the reason why I give 2 stars, which is ironic because I did not go there for that! Plus I woke up in the middle of them stitching it up and they did not care. Scarring experience.

I love how I got a referral here that's 100% useless. I took the referral to 3 different hospitals…read moreover the week. Despite the fact that I explained in those hospitals exactly what the referral was for they all told me that they can't accept it because they can't read the handwriting on it at all.

Not sure where to start, my father (age 71) was referred by a Bronx Dental Clinic in Castle Hill…read morefor emergency oral surgery. The only in-network provider that accepted walk-ins on such short notice was Manhattan Oral Facial Surgery on Grand Concourse. The word on the street is... this dental clinic accepts several walk-ins daily but you need to arrive by 6AM or you may miss your opportunity. Super-thankful for this intel because we arrived at 6:15am and there were already 14 people on line, standing in the rain until opening time. We finally registered at 8:45AM. The receptionist asked for a specialty referral from the referring provider which I confirmed was faxed over the day before. It was clear to me that without the specialty referral in-hand, there was a chance my father would not receive the emergent dental care he required. In my opinion, older patients usually lack the expertise needed to navigate the complex bureaucracies of health care, so the onus is on the providers' office. If you're missing any supporting documentation (e.g. referrals, discharge info) from referring providers then your administrative staff should support this task. After all, you'll need this information to submit your claim to get paid so it would be counter-productive not to help the patients with obtaining these docs. Now to the actual care provided, my father chose local anesthetic for his tooth extraction. The whole procedure was done in five minutes.....Yes, five minutes!!!! Here's the thing, this is patient care, not a pit stop at the Indy 500. My father's tooth was extracted before the local anesthetic even kicked in which makes sense because he told me he felt the entire procedure. This clinic is about flipping patients as quickly as possible. It's like a factory and the dental professionals are an assembly line that focus on manufacturing the perfect revolving door of patients rather than delivering the quality care they deserve.
