Both are veterans and after protecting our freedom they're continuing to serve their community by giving patients the freedom of independence. My aunt was sedentary for years since retiring, her knees wouldn't allow her to walk further than 100 yards without excruciating pain. Her Medicare plan assigning her to Dr. Fan was the best possible outcome. They assigned her to one of the best surgeons in the region, not just from his skill but also his bedside manner. Dr. Fan is really respectful, patient, yet confident in his communication. There were some hiccups with his old office staff but he and Ritt always made sure to make things right. It's rare to be able to reach out to a specialist directly and have them take matters into their own hands. My aunt experimentally wanted to try RFA of her genicular nerves to help the TKA recovery process and Dr. Fan gladly agreed to send a referral. No ego, no questions, he just agreed knowing that 'anything' helps. Both surgeries and the recovery have been flawless. Of course there was pain but nothing a 70yo woman couldn't handle. With the discomfort and pain I had been dealing with since they had grown back in 2022, I decided this time I would do the matrixectomy procedure to prevent the ingrown toenails from recurring. I visited Dr. Steven Buchholz's office in March 2024 for consultation for the matrixectomy and he was able to do the procedure the following Monday. My experience making an appointment here was very easy over the phone. The ladies on his staff are friendly and provide such great customer service on the phone and in person. Upon meeting Dr. Buccholz, my experience with him was exceptional. First off, he always shakes my hand every time he comes into the room (initial appointment, procedure day, follow-up appointment). That itself provides a warm environment at a doctor's office.
