And as a bonus (because my sister & I requested fun photos of surgery) he used his meta glasses to take photos and document how the surgery went, which was definitely a highlight to wake up to after surgery. From the very first appointment through surgery and recovery, he has been incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. He always takes the time to answer every question I have, even the ones that i know sound crazy or overly detailed, and never makes me feel rushed or dismissed. I actually flew all the way from my home in Chicago for both my orthotics consultation and molding appointments, and am currently staying out here for a month just so Dr. Fishman could perform my surgery because he's the only surgeon I trusted to do it. My sister and I even had surgery on the same day, and the entire team at the surgery center was amazing. They all had great attitudes, worked well together, spoke highly of Dr. Fishman. On top of that, I also got custom orthotics from Dr. Fishman back in December 2025 and I run my mouth about them to anyone who will listen. They are my favorite thing. Before surgery, the only time my feet didn't hurt was when I was wearing my shoes with those orthotics. She explained that because the appointment was cancelled yesterday , they didn't make any progress on my dad's information . I'm a bit skeptical, though, since our last appointment was a week ago , and they had mentioned requesting approval for an injection treatment on my Dad's left ankle a week ago, not at the last minute. I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from a medical office. The staff member I spoke with was not only rude but also unprofessional. When I asked about my dad's appointment, she became defensive and blamed the patient for the cancellation. I was put on hold for an excessive amount of time on the phone after that I gave up to hang up the phone and drove directly to their office And I was met with the same uncooperative attitude. It's unacceptable that they refuse to apologize or take responsibility for their mistakes. My visit to the doctor's office was incredibly frustrating.
