I had this ingrown toenail that was killing me for days. It was affecting my jumpshots in basketball. Every time I try to pull up, the area where I had my ingrown would hurt like crazy. I made a phone call and he got me in the same day. It was so nice because it was during the holidays and the other podiatrist were on vacation and couldn't fit me in. For a guy that is 220 lbs and 5 feet 8, I am very afraid of injections. He was thoughtful enough before the injection to spray some ice cold spray so that I did not feel the needle. His injection numbed my whole toe. He even gave me 5 min for the lidocaine to work its way to my toe. When he was working on my toe, I did not feel a thing. He was so nice he even let me take home my toe nail. This man was sent by God. He's got the hands of an angel.If you need a podiatrist, this guy is the guy to go to. I accompanied my wife to Dr Benedict Ching, whose office is in Fountain Valley, CA, on 6/12/2024 as a new patient, escorted into office right away. Ching came in and said to us, "Do you believe in Jesus, because NO DOCTOR can cure neuropathy. If they say they can they are all quacks, and liars. If you find Jesus just ask him and let me know what he says," refused to listen to my wife, and left after just a minute or so. Paid the copay in cash, got a receipt and we left. For this Ching charged $250, or $125 a minute, received $100.33 from insurance, $20 copay and ruined our day. But that's not all, he's threatening to send our account to a collection agency even though we paid it and can prove it. 1-5 stars? How about a huge MINUS TRILLION stars. Ching is the rudest, nastiest person we've ever met in the medical field, and I worked in that field for 27 years. read more

Dr Chin is awesome. He is kind and caring. I trust him for his knowledge and skill. Bedside manner is the best.

Out of all the foot doctors I have seen! He is the foot doctor I saw and helped started the process fixed an overdue problem.

Caring doctor who only wants to do the best for his patients. He took care of my 18year olds hammertoes and did an amazing job!!

I met Dr. Ching for the first time recently and was extremely impressed. He was kind, informative, very professional, and he saw me 5 minutes after I arrived for my appointment!! His office staff was so kind and accommodating which was refreshing. He scheduled my surgery, his office staff provided me with all necessary forms to bring to the hospital on the day of surgery, everything went well, and I'm healing nicely. In this crazy Covid world, the medical profession has been sketchy and it's hard to find anybody who is efficient, will return calls, or even cares. I would highly recommend Dr. Ching and his office staff to anyone who is having feet problems. I guarantee a terrific experience (and trust me, I've had many, many surgeries and procedures in the last 10 years and know what I'm talking about)! read more

I went to Dr Ching initially for an ingrown toenail. I was immediately treated and the follow up after care was great. I have since had a broken foot bone reset. All the nurses in the office are sweet and welcoming. I have had to change days and times of my appointments with little notice. There has never been an issue. Dr Ching always takes the time to answer all my questions completely and honestly. He always has a smile and seems genuinely happy to see you and make you feel better. Poorly run office with no consideration for their patients. I am a mom of 2 kids and have worked in medical offices including sales in the healthcare industry so I've had enough experiences and interactions to validly claim-- Dr Benedict Ching's office is One of the worst doctor's offices I have ever been to. My initial call to setup my consultation was fine. Everything after that went downhill. During my first appointment as a new patient: - 3 girls at the front desk, no one greeted me - no one gave me any new patient paperwork to fill out - I waited an additional 25 minutes past my appointment time - this office admits to DOUBLE BOOKING as a standard practice at the office - Dr Ching was very condescending and did not answer any of my questions. Total of an 8 minute appointment with him just for him to tell me about my shoes - office charged for my initial "consult". I paid my copay - between their third party billing company and Dr Ching's office, they still send me monthly overdue billing notices even though I paid my copay in the office and have called both parties to show proof - not once during any interaction did anyone even utter an apology for any inconvenience. The common response is a blank stare and either a snappy "ok" or a dragged out "ok.........??" Bottom line it's just disappointing to go to an office where there is no customer service and you aren't even treated like an individual or person. read more

Great Dr. and very kind and helpful staff. Very good aft with excellent, 'bed-side manor!' I wouldn't trust my feet with anyone else .

The Dr is great but the office staff are rude and uncarrying will be speaking to the Dr about it and will file a complaint to who ever is in charge of that whole office. Did not want to put a star but wouldnt post they deserve no star at all read more

I got referred to this office by my family doctor and after reading the two reviews on yelp I was not at all ecstatic about coming to my appointment, but it turned out to be a great experience. The girls at the front desk were super friendly, they gave me my new patient paperwork and as soon as I finished they put me in a room. NO WAIT TIME! That is a plus when it comes to dr's offices. Once in the room I waited about two minutes before the doctor came into the room. He was clear and straight to the point. If you need a therapist go some place else. He's a podiatrist and I'm grateful everything was so quick because as a full time mom and full time employee I would not want anybody wasting my time. read more

I came to this place because my doctor referred me here..I had a minor surgery..their work was fine but wat I didn't like is one of the nurses attitude also the doctor is not all the friendly I asked him questions on our follow up and he gave me a look like I'm already suppost to know. My wife had excruciating pain in her foot. Instead of going to the ER and have them use one of their on call podiatrist or orthopedic surgeons,we called Dr. Ching's office to see if we could get in for an appointment. The receptionist said they were booked but to come in around 11 and they will fit us in. We waited 10 minutes which was nothing of a wait and were seen promptly. Dr. Ching came in with this big friendly smile and proceeded with a few questions. He took some X-rays then did a thorough exam of her foot. He concluded with a test on her foot and revealed that she had a stress fracture. This doesn't show up on X-ray right away but with a tuning vibration exam he was able to explain the exact spot where her pain was. Dr. Ching knows his stuff!! His professionalism and bedside manner is second to none. His office staff is friendly and easy to deal with. We will be back for any foot issues in the future and highly recommend him to anyone. read more
