Some locations offer a kids club for just $10 a month, which is amazing for parents. I don't regret my move at all -- I only wish I had done it sooner. Staff here isn't as friendly as whipple I would say , the front desk hardly even says hello but besides that the gym is great. I have had no issues, just wish they'd bring kids club here. UPDATE- since my review honestly the staffs done a 360 as far as the front, theirs always a guy at the front when I come in, he's super attentive and greets everyone. I've visited both the Whipple and Fremont locations, and both are great. The only thing I wish is that the Fremont location would have a kids club and I'd make this my overall home gym.

Poor…read moremanagement and personal training staffs Most personal trainers are rude and possessive of the turf area especially the trainer Asia and will constantly kick you out of the area or abruptly grab your equipment stating that it belongs to the trainers only. The trainer Asia was confrontational and disrespectful in the turf area. Managers John and Gabriel just watched and didn't attempt to diffuse the situation. Wouldn't recommend this place.

When it comes to fitness, the ideal way is to begin training slow and then gradually increase in intensity. In Xcel tribe the intensity is all time high irrespective of your level of fitness. You will be out of breath and left with sore muscles. But you may still underplay the body signals as there is just so much energy around in class. End result? You may be harming yourself in long run. So if you plan to join, be sure to listen to your body and not overdo things. There sure are pros (like good coaches and overall energetic vibe), but I realized this isn't something I am looking for. PS- Since this is a close knit community, you are likely to see all 5 star reviews. So don't blindly go by numbers. Go for the trial class, see if it is something that would work for you and then decide. There are those who liked it and there are those like me who didn't.

    I am an avid work out fiend. I was working out 2 times a…read moreday, cardio for a nooner and weights for the evening. The amount of exercise I was doing all added up and I hurt my back. Slipped disc. I lost the ability to work out for 4 months. Once I began to heal, I found I could do some exercise, that is when I began to work with Andrea. It was a pleasure taking instruction from Andrea and I honestly believe her workouts have been a huge help to my back recovery. She taught me many things not only the work outs but diet, relaxation and recovery. The biggest thing was for me to stop working out for a good amount of time. I feel that was key. It's hard to give up that great feeling of working out. Healing was the first step. Then once I felt like I was ready and healing, working out speeded up my recovery. After working with Andrea I feel absolutely fantastic, although I feel I have lost a lot of my strength. It sucks but I think I am going to forget about what I used to do and start from the ground up. Clean slate. I am going to focus more on form and more reps, lighter weights. Also I will continue to take classes with you every now and then. I want to make sure I keep the right form. Andrea was a god send, she is not only good at what she does, the most important thing anyone can have is she cares about her clients. Thank you Andrea!! You're the BEST!!!

I work-out with her twice a week for almost 4 months now & every dollar spent on my work-outs is money well spent. We've seen some reduction in inches but most of all, she made me motivated with work-out again. She's quite a dynamo. And she will make sure that you will not be bored with your work-outs. And she's quite a great listener. I told her about my injuries & we managed to work around my limitations. Try her out. You will not be sorry. The 1 hour sessions are just pure joy!
