after 6 weeks of excuses and inability to repair my 2017 fiat 124 spider and spending $3400 for the frustration and never calling back, using yelp (yuck) is my only avenue to warn not to trust Steve Jones service. Go further and get it fixed. Total BS and no follow up, just the "give us one more week" whine and we will get it done. Nope. Total flail, failure and poorly staffed. My mother in law called and made an appointment for a broken part that is covered under warranty. We went there and they didn't even verify or check to see about warranty. Apparently the warranty company that this place sold my MIL they don't work with anymore so they won't do the work. Not to mention walking in the place was dirty, the cars are dirty, no snacks, a tiny dirty coffee machine, the car salespeople are showing each other a bunch of half naked girls in front of everyone, and they don't give you a loaner car if you're car is being worked on. I took my 2020 ram 3500 in with an oil leak around oil pan gasket. asked would be ok to have a few days. 2 weeks later called said parts should be in next day. should be ready around Jan 1. Called to check on the truck and said should be ready soon I said I was needing it to haul equipment service rep said tough luck won't be using it for a bit. called every couple of days checking on it. excuse that waiting on a bay to put it in. should be ready in a couple of days. then brush guard in way and aux switch wires in way. called several times with service guy not in or at lunch will call you back with never a call back. fast forward to week 7 after waiting on hold for 40 min they said truck in shop should be ready Thursday. friday called after talking to 2 different service dept guys should be done Friday. no call back about called Monday at lunch different service guy said still working on it. got a call Monday late afternoon said should be ready Tuesday morning by 10 Had to add oil and fluids still. No call so called at 11 said it's ready was getting ready to call. got there to pick it up on a warranty job and said I owe almost 600 because they had to take 4 bolts off brush guard. I raised a fit and final charge was 0. so it almost took 8 weeks to fix a warranty oil pan gasket then tried to charge almost 600 dollars not counting the truck I have been using not mine. read more

Advertising vehicles online before they have possession of them. They advertised a car my wife and I were very interested in. We drove to be showed an entirely different car that was 3 times the price. The salesman told us the car we went to see was traded in and on it's way. Fast forward they called us later that day, said car was there. We drove an hour back only to be called 15 prior to us arriving saying they didn't have the car anymore. Advertised specific vehicle with vin # and price then took up an hour of my time only to tell me "This particular vehicle not for sale" as "Steve's family using this vehicle as demo." When I asked about the vin number, price and pics of that vehicle being advertised I was told "Chrysler makes us advertise any car in our inventory." FALSE ADVERTISING. Extremely deceptive pricing. Take your money to an honest dealership that doesn't bait and switch. Jeep listed at $48k when I asked for pricing they said it was over $51k. And the price they advertise, you have to be military AND a first responder AND own a specific brand of tractor. NOWHERE on the website does it say this. In fact, they actually have a "click here to show incentives available" which only shows an additional $500 dollars off for military. BUYER BEWARE!! read more

First visit to this dealership, took my new truck for its first oil change. The two employees I dealt with in the service department were friendly. Had only two issues that I noticed after I was halfway home. There was oil fingerprints on the center console and driver side door. I also requested they replace a missing nut from some trim on the rear fender (truck is brand new still under warranty), guy in service department stated they would check it but was never done. Made an appointment and overall wait time was about an hour. Again very nice people just need a little attention to detail. read more

Purchased a vehicle from them and within 10 months it's already broken down for more repairs than it's worth. The dealership is not interested in helping, nor have they offered any repairs, warranties or incentives to help me get a new vehicle. Before this vehicle broke down, I had also purchased the extended warranty on the tires. When I had a flat, I was towed to the dealership and was told that the warranty only covers the value of the tires that were on the vehicle at the time of sale. They sold me a $400 warranty on $80 tires apparently, and they didn't have any $80 tires on hand. They gave me a rental for three days as they ordered this tire and charged me for the rental afterwards. I would recommend any other dealership in Dickson or surrounding communities before this one. It's a nightmare and I'm ashamed I ever did business with this company. read more

Called in to the service department to ask a few questions prior to scheduling an appointment to bring my car in. The individual who helped me had a condescending tone on the phone and refused to give any real answers about the questions I had around warranty/ what that might look like (just for reference I have a 2022 jeep brand new, only being a few months old with full warranty coverage it should be a simple answer). He said he couldn't give any insight until they took my car in got under the hood and started working. That is the biggest red flag I have seen from car service departments. Anyway, after my gut feeling to not use this dealership, called the Franklin Jeep dealership and they were so kind, helpful, and answered all my questions / got me on the books to come in for a service. Customer service goes a long way and by the sounds of it this location hasn't grasped that yet. Maybe they'd be kinder to a male calling in about their car. read more

Saw a truck on line that looked good but they did not have pics of it up yet. Send an email from autotrader to get more info and they offered to do a video walk around. It took 4 days to get 3 poor quality pics. Then when I asked for more. Kimberly said whoops the truck is sold. But they had more for me to look at. I wont buy from them. Man I should have stuck to my guns and not bought another vehicle from Steve Jones!! There service department is the worst! This is the second brand new van that I bought from them and it will be the last. Schedule an appointment where it takes three to four hours to run diagnostics on a light on the dash and the manager has to look at the carpet it the back before you will fix it for warranty.. the same thing happened to the carpet in the other van I had and they fixed it. If the manager needs to look at things before you fix it then he/she needs to be there!!!!!!! Great start to my morning. I know I'm not the only one with problems from their service department! I do not recommend even looking at cars there. Go to Colombia much better! They also offer no ride service or loan program so you have to sit there for the three or four hours! I own three Chrysler vehicles, including a 2012 Dodge Charger. Two years ago, on its fifth factory recall, the alternator was replaced. The alternators were failing, leaving the car completely inoperable, even while driving. In Dec of this year, the Charger wouldn't start. We had it towed to Steve Jones, who advised me the next day that the battery needed to be replaced before they could diagnose the problem. They determined that the two year old recall replacement alternator had failed, and damaged the battery as well. They would only cover a portion of the material cost of the alternator. I was stuck with paying for the labor. Also, they refused to cover the cost of the ruined battery or my towing. I made three calls to customer service at Chrysler, and tried talking several times to the manager at Steve Jones, to no avail. In the end, I was out $600 to replace a previously replaced, and potentially fatal, recall part. Chrysler and Dodge customer service acted as if the dealer was to blame, and Steve Jones told me that Chrysler was to blame. In total, I probably spent a total of 5 hours trying to get either the manufacturer or the dealer to stand behind their product. Turns out, neither does. Good luck to anybody who buys a lemon Dodge. After buying three of them in the past five years, I'll likely return to Ford. I'll never let Steve Jones work on one of my vehicles again. read more
