OUTSTANDING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I first encountered Will Waller, (yes, that's his name...) owner of…read moreLiving Stone Masonry, and his crew as they were restoring the stone facing of a neighbor's 1926 home. The job required careful blending of new stonework with 100 year old stonework, as well as steel supports for window arches and other engineering issues. The end result is exquisite. I'd challenge anyone to detect the new work from the old. Our 100 year old cottage had its own challenges. A 30' stone and grout wall running the length of our property had been dropping stones for a decade. One section had been destroyed altogether and required an entire rebuild. We could wait no longer. We did our due diligence but, after having met Will and seen the quality of Living Stone's work, there was little doubt we would use them. They did not disappoint. Our beautifully restored wall, with steps added, is a complete show stopper. Additionally, as the job progressed, we discovered another wall, long forgotten, that formerly crossed the property. Working in close consultation with Will, we re-created/restored that wall as well. To say our property has been elevated to a new level is no exaggeration. (A side word about Will Waller. Will is a fully certified Stone Mason in both the United States and England. He is dedicated to the education and preservation of the art of Masonry. Many a morning he started the day with a tutorial on a particular technique with his crew. He's a young man with a young family, a marvelous crew, and a sincere dedication to the art of Masonry.) I recommend you include Living Stone Masonry in your next quote.

WOW. If precision, focus, attention to detail, exquisite craftsmanship, honesty, thoroughness, and…read morethoughtfulness are qualities that are important to you -- then hire Justin Breitzke while you can. If you have to wait -- wait. He's a cut above the rest. We are in the process of renovating a 1925 bungalow. Justin was referred to us by a contractor and we will be forever grateful for the referral. Justin's first job was to rebuild the front porch and his attention to detail was immediately evident. He restructured the porch and then individually selected each piece of wood used for the tongue and grove floor he installed. At one point, a passing carpenter stopped by to look at the work, he thought it was so superior. As great as his carpentry is -- Justin's favorite thing is bathrooms! No surprise since his tile work is perfection. Justin redesigned, restructured, and then rebuilt our challenging, original bathroom. He finished by installing the most exquisite tile work imaginable -- floor to ceiling. The end result is amazing. Justin then moved on to our kitchen. He rebuilt the floor -- combining a former porch area with original kitchen floor -- and then installed radiant heat and tile. (It's no easy task to square up and float the floor of an old house to be level, yet when the cabinets were installed, no shims were needed.) Justin finished by installing a handcrafted subway tile back splash -- each piece a little different from the next -- once again, perfection. Did we mention the exacting prep process Justin employs before starting work and his clean-up afterward? Or the fact that his estimates match his bills that are provided in a clean and detailed manner? There are not enough superlatives to describe Justin, both as a craftsman and as a businessman. Hire him. You'll never experience a day of regret that you did. J. Ziros (January 1, 2014)

In addition to that, his bid for our job was very reasonable. With every appointment (including the installation), he arrived on time and kept in touch with us. I can be a real stickler for details--and I could see nothing that wasn't done to perfection. Shortly, he'll be doing some additional work we had requested, however, in the meantime, I wanted to give this review for the excellent job he did. With the new wood doors, two featuring glass, and soft-close cabinets, he has created for us a pleasurable new experience when using our kitchen.
