In addition, he would personally call after each procedure to inquire on how I felt and address any questions I had. I have been going to Dr. Palumbo's office since then. When he is not there, Dr. Oh provides a feedback after each cleaning procedure. Dr. Palumbo, Dr. Oh, and all hygienists provide exceptional service and care about their patients.

Somebody wrote a note here saying you already did it!" I got pulled to the back by an assistant (?), she never introduced herself or what role she did. She did a fantastic job with the x-rays and cleaning though! A lady named Kim walked in next, no clue what her role was either. She spoke to me about cleaning and flossing as if I were a 5 year old child. I'm a petite woman who is on the younger side, but cmon. As someone who's worked in healthcare for over 5 years, this was the worst bedside manner I've ever seen and experienced in my life. Dr. Nguyen was the next person in the room and spoke about 5 words to me then left. I am interested in doing Invisalign but they do consultations only on Wednesdays and Fridays with the last appointment being at 4pm. Nothing on Saturdays. That's difficulty for someone who works an 8-5 job and cannot get off. Overall, I was unimpressed with this visit and will be debating with coming back.

Becoming a patient of Dr. Carpio's raised my bar impossibly and I am afraid I am now spoiled for life. Dr. Carpio did an implant for me this year, to replace a molar that is been long missing. No implant is a simple task, but my case was particularly challenging. I needed a bone graft first and then a gum graft because having lost the tooth so long ago had left me with none that could support the implant. Dr. Carpio was not only super skilled and knew how to deal with every complication my case presented, she was also incredibly caring. She explained to me everything, did a great job at minimizing pain after procedures, and managed to put me at ease at the hardest times. I never waited at her office ever and yet she spent a considerable amount of time with me at every visit. The implant turned out to be impeccable and now I have a full mouth of teeth again. Dr. Carpio also referred me to a wonderful general dentist, when my previous one did not step up to the task and I was left in a pickle. Dr. Carpio's office staff also follows the example she sets in excellence and kindness. Everybody from receptionists to hygienists have been wonderful, but especially Aniko - who is I think the best dental assistant I've ever seen. She welcomes you with a smile, calls to check on you after visits, helps you out with last minute appointments, and even watches out for your financial interests. Besides all that, she is so cool that you'd actually want to be friends with her.

I wanted to get a second opinion on their recommended patient plan so I had them speak to a family friend who was also my hometown dentist. Dr. Tisseront was more than happy to take the time to call my friend after office hours and spend more than an hour explaining his recommendation. I have been wearing harmony braces (hidden behind your teeth) for three months now and everyone is amazed at how quickly my teeth have moved. I already have a beautiful smile! When all is said and done I will have spent upwards of 10K (they have a very reasonable payment plan) but I don't think I would trust anyone else with my teeth at this point and feel like this was a truly an investment well made.

My Experience With This Practice…read more Dr. Amir was the surgeon who performed my wisdom tooth procedure. I had all four of my wisdom teeth scheduled to be removed at this practice. I paid for all four extractions, and my insurance was also billed for all four. I also paid the required copay for each tooth. I underwent general anesthesia and went through the recovery and pain believing that all four teeth had been removed. After the procedure, I was told by Dr. Amir and the staff that the procedure had been completed. At my follow-up appointment, I was again led to believe that everything had been taken care of. Later, I visited my general dentist, who took X-rays and informed me that one of my wisdom teeth was still present and had not been removed. I returned to the practice and brought this to Dr. Amir's attention. He apologized and asked me to contact the staff regarding a resolution. After contacting the staff, I was reimbursed only the $136 copay associated with the tooth that had not been removed. What makes this even more frustrating is that because of this mishap, I now have to go through another extraction and another round of recovery, pain, and inconvenience--something I should not have had to go through if the procedure had been completed correctly the first time. My concern is that I was charged for a procedure that was not fully performed, my insurance was billed for all four teeth, and I was not informed that one tooth remained until my general dentist discovered it through X-rays. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled, particularly because I underwent general anesthesia and the risks and recovery associated with the procedure based on the understanding that all four teeth were being removed

We showed up for the consultation appointment and waited for almost an hour to be seen; when we go back, the dentist was looking at 2 yr old xrays and I had to point that fact out to him because he couldn't read the date...which i though was kind of a red flag, pink it least. So, they do updated xrays and we move forward with the consultation and I schedule an appt to get my sons wisdom teeth removed. The appointment was scheduled more than 30 days out... the evening before the appointment on June 6, 2025, I received a call saying the insurance was still not confirmed and unless i wanted to pay out of pocket, they would have to reschedule the appointment. I asked them to call me back to schedule once they verify insurance. This place NEVER called back. What I have received, 2 billings for $10.93 with no indication why i was billed. I get it it's $10.93, it least its not $110.93. I paid this a month ago because I realize this place is not good and I just want them to go away. Today, August 1, 2025, I received the same billing for $10.93. I called at 330pm on a Friday and the office is closed, but the office hours are listed to be open til 430pm. The point in all this is, don't waste your time with this practice, find a better place for you or your family member to be put under and have someone cutting into your mouths.

I came in for a cleaning and the dentist told the assistant to run my xrays through AI. This immediately set off alarm bells for me, as I expect a trained dentist to be able to identify cavities with their eye and not rely on AI, which we know makes mistakes. AI said I had 4 cavities, which I thought sounded like too many because I'm diligent about my dental hygiene. But I went ahead and got two of them filled. On one of the fillings the dentist kept drilling and drilling, and despite being numbed, I could feel it. I raised my hand to say I could feel it and he just stopped and started filling it. I was like - if I hadn't raised my hand, would he have just kept going? I then had persistent pain in the tooth for a week (there was zero pain before) so I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Turns out the dentist had not adjusted the filling to my bite correctly, so the way I was biting was inflaming the nerves in my tooth. Adjusting fillings to bite is Dentistry 101, so why wasn't that done? The new dentist also said he drilled so close to my nerves that I was almost in a root canal situation. Fortunately not, but wow, that really scared me. He also said I only needed one other filling, he didn't at all see this 4th filling I was told I needed. I saw another review on here of a man who was told he needed 7 fillings and then a second opinion said he only needed 4, so this isn't a one-off instance. It seems like this place prioritizes making as much money as possible, and therefore wants to sell as many procedures as possible, regardless of negative health impacts. I was also forced to buy a $30 prescription toothpaste, what a rip-off. They also push their in-house orthodontist heavily on people. I'm happy with my teeth even though they're not perfect, so I was not thrilled about the dentist unprompted telling me all the ways I could make them better with their orthodontist. In this economy?! I'm happy I found another dentist who doesn't put money first.
