I'm writing this after the proprietor no-showed with no notice to an appointment…read more Chantelle is truly excellent at massage therapy and has helped relieve my stiff muscles - consequence of an injury in Iraq - a dozen times or more. The other reviews mention this and are why I decided to take my business to her. The place is clean and well-kept, and she is very careful to ensure she's providing the type of service you need during each session. However she is constantly 10-30m late to appointments, communicates poorly and doesn't seem to understand how this turns the expectation of relief into a frustrating and difficult experience. I wish I didn't need to leave this review but I don't want others who are suffering like me to go into it blind. I have recommended friends to her and they're now telling me they can't get appointments either and have moved to other providers, though the business is still open. If you don't mind a very inconsistent schedule with last-minute or no notice, then this can be 5 stars for you.

As I…read moreinhaled and exhaled and relaxed into her work I could feel my body releasing long-dormant tension. By the end I was in tears just out of sheer gratitude. Her work, to me, is spiritual and emotional just as much as it is physical. The body is the gateway for releasing whatever, more ephemeral, gunk has caked onto your being. Even if you are healthy and feel good, I believe that everyone would benefit from a massage from Glow.

First impressions are everything and the receptionist was too busy to get me started with a new patient appointment. She told me to wait for her at the back door so she could give me paperwork to fill out. Good thing I sat down because 13 minutes later she was still doing other things like talking on the phone getting a payment instead of getting me checked in. Finally, i get ushered back into an exam room and the nurse puts a sliver of protective paper over where I am supposed to put my face on the most hideous chair I have ever seen. It must be from the 60's and the leather is almost completely worn off and full of super old foam. Eww. There is no way I was gonna lay down on that thing, and I had to wonder if they don't care about the chair, do they care about the patient in it? I didn't want to find out. Update: Thank you for the response but I am looking for a healthcare provider that provides a comfortable, safe facility conducive to my healing and that includes aesthetically pleasing rooms and enough office staff to make it a welcoming first encounter. Thanks and good luck to your reupholstered chairs.
