Overall, when you go to multiple stores like these they all tend to appear similar, but what set this place apart was the proprietor. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and sold us on a beautiful old mirror we were evaluating. His knowledge and experience were vast and he was able to thoroughly explain to us everything about this particular piece (timeframe, where it came from, where he came across it, and how he restored the back part for hanging purposes). His prices are also reasonable and if you're interested, he's willing to help push you out of the "maybe" category and into the "buy" with regards to the price Plenty of fantastic items to choose from ranging From old knives (army style) to old pieces of furniture (my wife is still thinking about going back for a rocking chair). This place isn't as big and doesn't have as many items as some of the other shops but it does some nice quality looking stuff and an owner willing to take time to explain it to you (didn't encounter that at many stores)

The Breitling Company Store is a very beautiful and laid out well. The staff is very knowledgable about the watches and carried themselves in a very professional manner. (even to young clientele like me) I purchased my second Breitling through them and absolutely love it! The sales associate Tyler was very welcoming, knowledgeable and easy to work with! I purchased a Breitling Montbrillant Legende and absolutely love it and will be back sometime this year to purchase another. Upon purchase they will throw in some Breitling swag! I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to deal with Alto Music online. The personalized…read moreservice felt like a neighborhood store where you knew the employees. I ordered a YSS-875EXHGS soprano sax from them because their pricing was very competitive. I used the chat function to ask a question, and received an email from one of their staff, Victoria. Victoria personally helped me through the process, and walked the sax down to shipping herself to make sure I would receive it quickly. I did not feel like I was dealing with a large multi outlet store online a continent away (I am in Hawaii, Alto Music is in New York), I was dealing with a specific person that wanted to make sure I had a good purchase experience. The sax that I received had some manufacturing issues. Victoria quickly made good with the return and worked through ordering a replacement sax, and made sure I got it as soon as possible. Victoria was personable and extremely responsive to my emails. Based on my purchase experience, I highly recommend Alto Music. It is a first class operation.
