Afterwards, I was called to have an appointment scheduled, and they worked with me on my schedule needs, Monday-Friday scheduling. The electrician they sent out was nice and friendly, and did a fantastic job of replacing my outlets and splitting our breaker box that had been previously wired with too many outlets on individual breakers, and they even labeled our breakers for convenience. Overall J Bathe was friendly, professional, and I'm always happy to work with companies doing right by the unions. Great rates too!

I could write a book about how pleased we are with their work, their professionalism, their abilities to take a poor situation and make it work, their dedication to getting the job done and done right. From Lauren in the office to Joe, Francisco, Jeremiah, and a couple of other guys who (I am sorry that names escape me) who were all a part of this project at our home, we thank you so much for not only doing the work, but passively calming me down when I would see your truck pull up in our driveway. Joe and Francisco especially went above and beyond with amazingly great attitudes on Christmas Eve. That they even had to work that day pissed me off, but they and their people in the office were dedicated to get this project in service before the end of the year. I would never have expected anyone to work on Christmas Eve. I am grateful that they did. I have already told many people about our unacceptable experience with our contractor, and have dropped the BRDA name more as the people to take care of their solar projects as well as any other electrical needs they may have. My husband and I both agree that we will be calling Brda for any of our electrical needs in the future simply because of the overall expertise their Solar group brought to this project. Their original quote was very reasonable, and we decided to go with them for the work. I could write a very lengthy review on the many things our tech did that went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the work done and that we got exactly what we envisioned for our newly purchased home. He/we ran into an issue when working on the dining room lights and at first we backed off that portion of the work. After a long weekend, he came back to finish up the rest of the job, and he said "I have been thinking about this all weekend, and I have a plan on how to make these lights work". He outlined his plan and we said "sounds awesome, it also sounds like it added a lot of money". His response "Nope, I said I was going to get this done at what we quoted, and this solution will do that and give you exactly what you wanted!" I will absolutely use them again for future electrical jobs. As a cherry on top, the company sent us a really nice thank you note AND a box of cookies after the job was completed!!

I was really pleased by the process for getting our AC replaced. Matt worked with me on a bid for…read morethe new unit in October, and spoke intelligently about the options, where other companies did not seem as educated on the components. This bid was actually less than the competitors, and they had not been around as long as Harster! It was an easy choice. We scheduled to do the replacement in January. Jim and his team came out to do the install and addressed some additional needs to increase the air flow, make the existing unit up to proper code, and make the filter track so it fit filters appropriately. The last unit installation I'm sure was a DIY job or done by a less qualified company. Jim addressed all those issues. I was on a meeting when he was all finished and didn't get to go see the finished product until after he left. It was beautifully done and very neat.

My furnace stopped working and I called Harster after reading the other reviews on Yelp. The receptionist was very nice and she had a technician out in less than 2 hours. I ended up needing a new system, but two of the nicest and most informative technicians came out the very next day and completed the work. They talked to me about the system and what I can do to maintain it. The price was fair and what they quoted originally did not change after the work had been done. I would recommend this company to anyone.

First visit ($187): The technician claimed a personal medical issue and required me to provide my own ladder and physically assist in operating his equipment. The leak was not fixed. Second visit (Promised by their office as a $O warranty call): The technician applied a cosmetic putty patch ("thumb gum") to the exterior cabinet rather than performing a mechanical repair. He then completed unauthorized maintenance and added a $385 plan renewal charge on-site. The Service Manager refused a refund. I filed formal disputes for both charges with my credit card company, which returned my money in full after reviewing the voicemail and email evidence. Substandard trade work and incorrect billing.
