Took the time to review my insurance coverage with me, along with assisting me in reaching out to my insurance company to verify coverage prior to scheduling my apt. (Normally they just book u and be done). Reasonable recommendation when asked for her opinion, no BS. The process: numbing the surface before needle with numbing agent injection. Due to my reaction, Dr. Kim stopped and did a total of 3 injections to make sure I'm numb properly before cavity filling (keep in mind, I had cavity fillings where the doctor was in a rush, feels like it's about right and just went with it). As difficult as it was for the position of my cavity, Dr. Kim took the time, and with consideration, got the job done without me feeling much of any discomfort. Highly recommend!

I think I have a high threshold for pain, but have had experiences where the hygienist is hurting me and had no regard for my feelings. I've had work done that I was not happy with. I've had experiences with dentists where they cancel on you short notice, but charge you when you cancel an un-confirmed appointment. I've had experiences with misrepresentation on the billing and more. I haven't had any of these bad experiences at Hawthorne Dental Associates and I've been going here for several years now. Dr. Rosenson and the staff are easily the best dentist office that I've dealt with. They are always very professional, accommodating and courteous. I appreciate that they always do their best to schedule me as soon as possible. The x-rays and cleanings are always quick and painless. I especially appreciate the thoroughness and gentleness. Dr. Rosenson has always been very personable and provides good dental advice. I have not been disappointed with any of the work I have had done. Whoever I spoke to not only misread my insurance but, when I tried to correct her mistaken claim (she made claims about my insurance that were objectively wrong), she just said "Alright, I'm not doing back and forth with you," which was extremely rude and blunt as I had only tried to point out a mistake she had made processing my insurance.
