One doctor left work for the day before an appointment with no notice and on another day one didn't show up at all. I show up, no doctor, and no one explains what has happened and if I will get my treatment. On each of those occasions my BP reached at least 200/90. Is that good medical care?

It was there that I learned that my left arm problem was related to a pinched cervical nerve. I made an appointment to see Dr. Kramer at Head & Neck Surgery. Everyone on his staff is pleasant and helpful, and Dr. Kramer is a highly skilled and experienced surgeon. I had surgery on 6/18/2018. Any post-surgery discomfort was soon gone, and for a few weeks I was visited twice weekly by a team of very nice and helpful Occupational Therapists to ensure I was able to perform all necessary daily living tasks in a safe manner. After I improved to a point where I no longer needed in-home Occupational Therapy, I went to out-patient Physical Therspy twice a week for six weeks. I exercised my left arm, helping it to regain strength. That takes time as the nerves regrow and reconnect, but things have improved for me to the point that I am almost 100% recovered in my left arm strength a year later. I am grateful to Dr. Kramer for his surgical skill and for the good follow-up care I received. I had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes to see the doctor, the practice wanted me to take another ultra-sound because they didn't read my chart and realize I had already taken an ultrasound the week prior and had sent the chart and scans to them. Doctor didn't look at my leg nor my chart nor my personal history. Entire visit could have been covered in an email. Go get a pair of compression socks and come back in 3 months. $50 co-pay and half a day off work for that, wow thanks. You couldn't tell me that on the phone? No educational materials, no consult, and doctor was visibly annoyed the entire time. I have no idea why. Bizarre. Leg has been throbbing for 2 weeks, low level pain but difficult to sleep, that's normal according to this practice. Again, could have been a phone call or email.
