I went in and was initially impressed with the front desk people. They are so pleasant and not staring down their nose if I worried about paying for the service. First, it was so much less expensive than dentists I called to have a single tooth pulled. I was never left alone and the person (I am horrible remembering names but I will never forget how awesome she was) that stayed with me and took X-rays made a calm happen right away. I say that because I do not, or I should say, did not like dentists or doctors in general. But....when the dentist came in, he treated me like I've been there a thousand times and calmly suggested a treatment plan. I feel like a turn coat when I have to admit, there is a dentist that I trust....like immediately. The treatment plan could have included expensive root canals, but the Dentist explained the best course of treatment, far less painful in my mouth and wallet. So thank you everyone on the Next Door app and i hope this review helps someone find a good local dentist if you are anywhere near Norton, Ohio. I found my new Dentist.

Today's experience, from entering the front door to exit an hour later, was seamless, and from my position as the patient, as ordinary as having a tooth filled. I was made to feel comfortable, mentally and physically, and, while I laid back in the chair, the doctor and his assistant worked together to do four root canals in a molar. The first hint of this was charging for services that were NEVER delivered...I think it was $110. I did catch their overbilling. A few months later when I was undersedation, they demanded that my wife pay them $3500 immediately. Then a few weeks later, said "oh you owe us $344 more" The office them gave me a "estimated" cost of more work. Their answer was $28,800 which the insurer would pay $600.(we already paid them $6000 for 2024) At that point I asked the dentist if he was insane. One other instance was with my daughter in law. Telling them my 90 year old grandma was in pain and needed treatment asap was met with patronizing behavior. Was told the dentist was ill but a jaguar was parked in the lot. Ended up taking my grandmother to Jennifer Jerome on brown street. Amazing place. Coincidentally, they tried to get my grandmother's records from 2K dental and they would not release them. Apparently, even this dentist office has tons trouble with them.

I had bad dental experiences as a child and really hated going to the dentist. My dentist retired so I had to find a new dentist. He referred me to Dr. Bob, a.k.a. Dr. Robert Brandhorst, he's soft-spoken, tender, gentle, etc. he has a very calming effect. I haven't run into any staff there that I don't like. They all seem to take on the same temperament as Dr. Bob. They have a new woman dentist here. I can't recall her name but I did get a crown put on by her a couple of months ago. She was super efficient. I've had a few crowns in the past and usually they seem to take a long time and the molds are miserable to have done. between her and the tech they did a fast efficient job probably one of the best most efficient. Quick caps I've ever had put on. I highly recommend this dentist especially if you're fearful of a dentist. I love coming here to get my teeth cleaned. The woman that cleans my teeth again very similar to Dr. Bob super kind, super gentle and caring. They have this amazing ultrasonic water pic that they use instead of so much scraping. It takes all the color stains from coffee or tea off your teeth and it's very gentle. I'm so glad I found this place a several years ago with my dentist retired. One thing because they are so well liked it. Does take some time to get an appointment in but it's worth the wait. Once you're in just start scheduling your appointments a year out then you don't have to worry about getting in.
