Awesome first experience. My appointment was timely and my hygienist Joyce was kind and conscientious. I would definitely recommend.

They both held one hand during the procedure. My mother was extremely afraid. So nervous that she cried in their restroom but as soon as she met these girls, she felt at peace. The doctor, oh my, he was incredible. He took the time to explain everything to us, spoke to Mom's dentist and made the procedure a breeze for her. She wanted to hug him before she left. I was incredibly impressed that the doctor himself called us that same night to see how she was doing. I highly, highly recommend him and his beautiful and professional staff. We were very lucky to have found him!

Staff were professional, friendly and attentive. Explained the procedure, provided understandable instructions verbally and in writing, and took the time to answered questions. My mother experienced no complications and is healing well. I highly recommend Dr Fontana and his staff.

I had extraction and bone graft back home before coming for the season. I had follow up ct scan by…read moremy surgeon and had report that bone had healed and I was ready for implant. I gave dr payne office info for my surgeon. when I went in to discuss cost and opportunity to have implant procedure, they took me for new ct scan and then went through explanation of what an implant is. I have had two previous so that was not necessary and a waste of time. They then wanted to schedule and I say I came for cost and I need to know that. To my shock they told me my visit was $475 and the implant would be $3100. My cost at home would have been $2000. I should not have been charged for visit. Total rip-off.

I was having significant dental pain and needed a tooth extracted. I was referred to this office…read morefor the procedure and given an appointment a week away. My dentist's office called and made the appointment. Initially, when I contacted the office to confirm the appointment, office staff insisted that I did not have an appointment, that they had never heard of me, and that I must be mistaken. They offered an appointment 5 days later than the original appointment date that I was scheduled for. I told them I would check my work schedule and call back. I did, only to be told that they had found my appointment, and merely misspelled my name. I showed up on the morning of my appointment and answered the now ubiquitous COVID-19 screening questions. I was routinely tested for COVID-19 for work on 5/15/2020 (negative oral swab, negative IGG). I was told that because I didn't have a written copy of those results that they would not see me. Not once was this mentioned prior to my appointment date. If it had been, I would have had the chance to obtain the necessary medical records (not that a 3 week old COVID test result has any meaning). So I guess I'll start my second week with a toothache as I try and find someone willing to pull it. Dr. Payne may be a fine gentlemen. I've never met him. The inflexible, bureaucratic attitude of his office leaves a great deal to be desired.

SAGE Dental: short for Sorrowful And Grievous Experience…read more I should have trusted the negative reviews about Sage dental. I don't know about you, but when I see extremely bad reviews I tend to think the person was just being extreme. This review is about the staff at SAGE - not a dentist. I never saw one because the experience with the staff gave me the insight to leave. It was a very bad experience for a scheduled appointment of cleaning and exam. Initially, the front desk couldn't find my appointment. The front desk person asked me, "are you sure you have an appointment?". Then the office manager had to help them to see my appointment. They told me "sit down". Next a person that looked like they just got off their bicycle, based on their clothing, asked me to follow her. That person asked me if I was a new patient. She could not find my previous visit history. When I kept insisting that I was there last year and was seen by a dentist that left the practice. (I could understand why the dentist would want to leave that practice). Last year the dentist gave me a written referral to visit a root canal specialist. Next the office manager came to help that person find my records and told me possibly I was confused. After twice being told that I was possibly confused I decided that I did not need to be insulted, and I walked out - (yes I have receipts from the prior year visit). If you are considering visiting Sage dental, my suggestion to you is to find another dental care provider so you will have a more peaceful day.
