Next - the ice cream. I was happy the kids' cones weren't covered in sprinkles, but had a small amount for color. The soft-serve raspberry has me drooling every time I think of it - smooth, creamy and delicious flavor. My wife's strawberry didn't have anything fake about it, with nice pieces of fruit in it. I figured a coffee shop might serve up better internet anyway, and I wasn't wrong. The morning crew was bustling but friendly, quickly selling me a cup for the self-serve station and pointing me toward the stairs. The ground floor is cozy and compact, but they've got a second level that opens things up nicely. I chose the light roast labeled 'Autumn Honduras,' which turned out to be a fabulous pick ‐ bright, smooth, and just what I needed. I added a modest splash of cream, climbed the stairs, and found a quiet spot to settle in. I spent a solid hour up there, sipping slowly and sketching out the next leg of my journey through the mountains. It's a genuinely comfortable space, with enough warmth and quiet to make a full workday feel entirely doable. You could easily lose track of time here, and I wouldn't blame you one bit.
