Stephanie was absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the sale of our home in Edison Park. From our first meeting to the closing table, she was knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping us achieve the best possible outcome. Selling a home can be stressful, but Stephanie guided us through every step of the process, answered all of our questions, and kept us informed the entire way. Her expertise in the local market, attention to detail, and strong communication made a huge difference. Thanks to her hard work, our home sold quickly and the transaction went smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor and would highly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Thank you for making this transition such a positive experience! read more

Fantastic agent who truly defines 'professional. In a crowded, competitive market like Chicago, she was our advocate throughout the entire buying process, helping us land a house we absolutely love. Calm, knowledgeable, and a great listener, Stephanie is one of my top service recommendations. She even helped us find an insurance broker we still use and love, helped us upgrade our mortgage originator, and helped us thread the needle of a multi bid offer. Can't recommend her enough! read more

Working with Stephanie was truly one of the best parts of our home buying and selling experience. We actually started with another agent on the buy side who wasn't the right fit, and Stephanie stepped in seamlessly and immediately made everything feel easier and more manageable. She was supportive every step of the way--patient, responsive, and always making sure we understood our options. Stephanie gave us the education and information we needed to feel genuinely confident in all of our decisions, and her guidance was consistently smart and thoughtful. On the purchase side, she kept us grounded and focused on what was right for us and for our money. On the sale side, she knew exactly how to prepare and position our condo so it looked fantastic and performed incredibly well. We felt fully taken care of throughout the entire process, and we're so grateful for her expertise, kindness, and advocacy. We couldn't recommend Stephanie more highly. read more

Stephanie is great. Not only is she very involved in the whole process her entire team is fantastic. There is not a step from deciding to buy through purchase that does not move smoothly. Even when there are issues. For a first time buyer like my spouse she explained everything and settled nerves with ease. We can't recommend highly enough. read more

I am a first-time home buyer, and I recently completed the purchase of my first home. The team of Stephanie LoVerde and Laura Winters were my Baird & Warner home finding and home purchasing support team throughout the process. This team exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I started my new home journey, I noticed how detailed oriented and patient they were, they helped and guided me every step of the way. What impressed me most is the level of thought and care that went into every detail. In addition to just finding the properties they helped identify professionals on the legal and financial front that helped me close the deal by essentially becoming a one stop shop. I found myself enjoying the process rather than feeling frustrated. Stephanie LoVerde and Laura Winters tag teamed my journey as Stephanie helped me find the properties and Laura would complete the walk throughs and show the properties to me. Both even went to the extreme of calling me to help calm me down and assure me that things were progressing normally when I started to get rattled with the process, which gave me extra confidence in my decision. I wholeheartedly recommend this team at Baird & Warner to anyone seeking assistance with finding a home. The support I received has made a positive impact on my life, and I am grateful for the results I've experienced. If you're considering purchasing a home and need realtor/broker services, don't hesitate to use Stephanie LoVerde and Laura Winters and the rest of the team at Baird & Warner, it's absolutely worth it! read more

Stephanie not only secured a higher price than we anticipated, but also kept me much calmer during the sale

Stephanie is great and very knowledgeable about Chicago and its surrounding areas. She is proactive and stays ahead of every situation. Recently, she sold a property for me in just a matter of days, and the entire process couldn't have gone more smoothly. Stephanie kept me updated at each step of the process and provided recommendations on how to navigate different scenarios. I will definitely use Stephanie in the future. read more

Stephanie is patient, knowledgeable and quick!! She helped me find and secure the perfect condo for my first home :) I would absolutely recommend her and use her services again myself in the future! read more

Steph is a legit baller. My wife and I wanted to move from our current house to be closer to family and our kids' schools. Our neighborhood didn't have any side-by-side comps, given the work we put into our back yard and the interior (fixtures, unique attached shelving, etc.) but Steph priced our home accurately--as indicated by the appraisal and the full-asking bid. She made several recommendations on minor updates before putting the house up for sale that would increase demand and curb appeal. She arranged a beautiful photo collection to accurately demonstrate what our house had to offer, honing in on its charm. As stated by other reviewers, Stephanie LoVerde treats you like you are her only priority. She hosted a Cinco de Mayo pre-sale in our back yard, showed our house for less than one week, and had a very strong full-asking offer, which we accepted. We are now moving into our next home--our dream home. She also made that process painless. I must also share this: I like projects--I like to put my own stamp on my homes. We initially wanted to purchase a "project house" that was well under our price ceiling, and Stephanie was very supportive, even though she had her reservations. We went through the inspection process (while bringing a contractor Stephanie recommended) and were informed of many issues that we did not initially anticipate; Steph did. When decided to move on from that house, the perfect fit became available. We couldn't recommend a better realtor than Stephanie LoVerde if you want to truly "love your home." read more

Twice happy customers!! My husband and I worked with Steph on the purchase (5 yrs ago) and recent sale of our greystone three-flat in Andersonville where she strategically helped us prepare (with impressive and targeted staging and photography), pre-market privately (lining up a dozen quality buyers so we didn't need to host an open house), price ($400k more than what established local agents to the neighborhood dismissively said we could achieve), and sell our home for top dollar (with multiple offers over asking in less than 3 days). We were admittedly demanding and anxious clients with a newborn to juggle and Steph was someone we could trust implicitly and rely on for her honest perspective. She was also accessible and handled the showings, inspections, etc while we were away, doing whatever was necessary to make us truly successful in our home sale including helping us assess offers, handle negotiations, and line up a backlog of back-up buyers as a safeguard. She was down to earth and authentically cared about our family, and we absolutely loved working with her and would highly recommend her to anyone! read more

Stephanie is the best! She provides comprehensive service when buying and selling. She shares trusted recommendations for anything and everything. No one LOVES the ordeal of buying a home. However, I cannot recommend Stephanie LoVerde MORE! My husband and I knew (basically within 5 minutes) we were working with a professional that is respectful and listened to our list of wants. She really helped us understand the undertaking we about to dive into. Stephanie is incredibly knowledgeable, flexible but most importantly fun! Looking for our forever home seemed very intimidating at times, but Stephanie was always such a friendly sounding board, with great ideas of different neighborhoods to investigate or new listings to check out. Stephanie is wonderful at knowing even the smallest details that are important to check out when buying a home. It felt great to work with someone who gives you a sense of security, knowing they have ONLY your best interests at heart, 100%. Walking into our NOW perfect home, that we purchased with the help of Stephanie, feels amazing. My husband and I cannot be more grateful to Stephanie for making this process so seamless, enjoyable and truly fun! She is so funny, friendly, intelligent and personable. We look forward to recommending Stephanie to anyone who wants the BEST agent! Thanks again! read more

Once again, I was extremely pleased with Stephanie's partnership in selling my home. Her ability to work with me on comps and develop a comprehensive strategy led us to multiple offers and a very successful sell. Also, she's super easy to work with and always happy to hop on a call to discuss things. I'm super appreciative and highly recommend her for any of your real estate needs. Stephanie recently helped my partner and me sell our condo in Chicago while we were living in DC. She was fantastic to work with--super helpful, with fast communication, and very warm. I wish I had more property in Chicago just to work with her again. Highly recommend her services. read more

Stephanie was great. many times she talked me off the ledge. we put an offer on one home that we loved and got it. she's amazing

Officially first time home owners, thanks to Stephanie! She was amazing to work with - truly made the process seamless despite the crazy market. We really felt like she was in our corner throughout & very vocal about what was best for us. She has a lot of experience & very knowledgeable - she was able to always provide her input or connect us with someone in her network, but ultimately left the decision up to us and was never pushy. She authentically cares about her clients and helped us to pause throughout the process to focus on what we want in a house. We have demanding jobs during the week and she made herself available on weekends, weeknights, etc. for questions, phone calls & showings. We were able to find a house that met our top priorities (without having to compensate much given the sellers market) & feel like we gained a new friend from Stephanie. Definitely would recommend using Stephanie if you are buying or selling! read more

I have had a fantastic experience with Stephanie and would highly recommend her. She is an excellent negotiator and had my condo under contract after only two showings and at an offer beyond my expectations. I am a first time home seller, so I was apprehensive about the process and had a ton of questions. Stephanie patiently walked through everything with me and was supportive for every step of the process. She is a top notch communicator and sets clear expectations. I also needed a bit of work done on the condo prior to sale and Stephanie recommended some vendors. They also upheld her high standard and completed the work quicky and professionally for a reasonable price. I am very impressed with Stephanie and her team. You can trust and rely on her every step of the way. read more

As first-time homebuyers, we needed a lot of orientation and communication at each stage of the process. Steph was the perfect agent for us, always responsive and knowledgeable, to the point she felt like a third partner in our search. We couldn't recommend Stephanie enough. She walked us through the entire process and answered every question we could come up with. She communicated with us daily and always kept us up to date. After guiding us through staging, she sold our house in 12 days at full list. While we were thrilled, we had to find a home quickly. She not only found us the perfect house, she did so by finding a home not on the market. Both professionally and personally, Stephanie was the best we have ever dealt with. If you're even considering selling or buying, reach out to her and have a conversation. She's straightforward, honest and will provide you the best service you can get in all of the Chicagoland area. read more

As a first time home buyer, it always felt like Stephanie's number one goal was to ensure that I was comfortable with what was happening. Stephanie took the time to get to know me and to understood my needs. I never felt pressured or felt like she was just telling me what I wanted to hear. I trusted her judgement and guidance 100%. Stephanie was always attentive, readily available, and responsive. There is a lot of information around home buying, but I never felt overwhelmed. She always took the time to make sure I understood all the information that was provided. Once we found a place to make an offer on, Stephanie moved quickly and strategically. I'm confident that I would not have secured the place I bought without her savviness and persistence. read more

Having many options for choosing a realtor, we landed on Stephanie because of both her quantitative and qualitative approach to real estate. On the quantitative side, she's a very skilled negotiator who can be very friendly but firm. She has a great command of the neighborhoods on the northside, and knows their nuances and differences when it comes to different property types and price points. On the qualitative side, she kept everything simple and fun for my family and I while navigating a complex (and sometimes changing) home-search plan. No detail was missed by Stephanie and her team in getting us closed on our move-up purchase. Everything from attorney review negotiations to providing the local utility companies's contact information was handled seamlessly by Stephanie and her team. WE would like to thank HER for taking such good care of us and getting us into our new home!! read more

Stephanie was amazing to my family and I on the buy and sell side! We are happy clients who want to share our experience. TLDR: Do not hesitate to use Stephanie for all your real estate needs. She's the best. Buy Side: We brought Stephanie in after we had locked in on a SFH we wanted to make an offer on in Irving Park. Stephanie understood the urgency and helped us write a WINNING offer. The property was new construction, and there was nuance to get us to closing date. With Stephanie's help, we negotiated some customizations and other swaps with the Builder's original plans. We now are 2 weeks post close and are enjoying our forever home. Stephanie will forever be part of that story for our family! Sell Side: After we were under contract in Irving Park, we wanted to sell our Condo in Humboldt Park. Stephanie methodically worked her way through the process, keeping us perfectly updated, and had us an offer at list after one weekend on the market. We were very pleased with how everything went. Bonus: Stephanie also made a sterling referral on an attorney, Jason M. Chmielewski, of JMC Law. Bonus x2: Her staff was amazing to work with. Jessica and Jenny are Rockstars. read more

Repeat client who has bought and sold happily with Steph! I highly recommend Stephanie - she's diligent, discerning and trustworthy. I'm grateful for her expertise, honest opinion & responsiveness. My wife and I had been looking to purchase a home in Chicago for a year during Covid and struggled with doing anything on our own. Stephanie came recommended from a friend who had worked with her twice before and had told me how great she was to work with. I don't think we would have been able to handle our new construction purchase without her guidance and help. Never during our process did Stephanie try to persuade us to purchase a particular home or question us when we made an offer and backed out in a 24 hour period. She loves her job and takes care of her clients which is why we already know if we ever decide to sell our home or make another purchase we will call Stephanie and trust her 100%. read more

As first timers, working with Stephanie was the best experience my partner and I could have asked for during our house hunting process. I would recommend Stephanie and her assistant Carla a million times over without a doubt! read more

Stephanie makes you feel like you're her only client. She's very attentive, in tune with your feelings as a buyer, but knows a lot about the market. We worked with her to sell a condo in the city and buy in the burbs. Nothing about our sale or buy was easy and she was there with us through it all. She made us feel comfortable every step of the way. If you're hesitant about anything she's got a great way of talking to you and is really honest about everything. This was my 2nd time working with Stephanie. She has helped me on both the buy and sale side both times. I wish I could give Stephanie more than 5 stars. She was kind, patient, and knowledgeable about everything we weren't - and gave us just enough leash to find out for ourselves what was important. One thing really stuck out to me as we went along: she kept telling us "I've got you." Question about the contract? Don't worry, I've got you. What should we do next? I've got you. Is this a good decision? I've got you. We really felt supported throughout, which is exactly what we needed. I wholeheartedly recommend her. read more

We had an amazing experience working with Stephanie! I could not have asked for a more helpful and proactive agent. We were first time home buyers and needed some additional guidance throughout the process. Stephanie and her coworker Carla made our buying experience so smooth and easy! With their assistance and advice, we were able to go through the buying process super quickly and find the house we wanted. Stephanie definitely goes above and beyond and made herself super accessible to us. I am amazed at how Stephanie can juggle so many things at the same time and make us feel like we are always her number 1 focus. She is always answered our question promptly and provided wonderful recommendations on so many things - from inspection company, attorney, to handyman. We could not have had a better experience working with Stephanie and her coworker Carla. We interviewed a few different agents and left thinking that Stephanie would be the best fit for us and we were absolutely right. She was super responsive and upbeat throughout the entire process which we really appreciated as first time homebuyers. We ended up with everything we were looking for in a new home and a huge portion of that is thanks to Stephanie and team listening to what we were looking for and making it happen. We felt very informed throughout the whole process and were never afraid to bounce ideas off of Stephanie or ask her for help / recommendations in side tasks associated with home buying. Will absolutely be working with Stephanie again the next time we are buying / selling. read more

I did a search of top agents in my area when I wanted to sell my house and Stephanie came up with high ratings. Even though I reached out to others and interviewed others, Stephanie was very quick to respond, met me right away and I had a comfort with her that she got me, got my intention, and my timing. She knew my neighborhood well, had a strategy that I agreed with, and got an offer within 3 days of going on MLS. Stephanie handled so much for me, and even when I freaked out several times, she calmed me down and then went to work for me. I felt I had her in my corner at all times, when I bugged her a lot! You could tell that she loves what she does, and you will feel that as well. Everyone who worked with the process through Stephanie made me feel comfortable and covered, and I knew they had my back. Stephanie is the absolute best! She helped us buy our very first home (an amazing new-build condo in West Town) in 2017! We were both inexperienced and also quite picky with our "asks" and she was amazing through the whole process! There was never a question too small or an inconvenient time to reach her. After we were comfortable in our new home she always sent us cute holiday cards and little messages to see how we were. When we decided to relocate out of state in mid 2020 during the COVID pandemic we didn't have to think twice about who to call! Once again, having never sold a house, Stephanie was incredibly insightful and made the process as easy as possible!
