I have purchased three properties with Brooke over the last 13 years: two condos and a two-flat. I am very fortunate to have found her for my first home purchase in Chicago. Brooke helped me find my first condo in the West Loop in 2013. She was patient, worked to understand what was important to me and worked tirelessly to help me purchase the perfect place. I contacted Brooke when I was ready to buy a two-flat rental in Humboldt Park/Logan Square in 2022. She referred me to multiple lenders and one in particular where I was able to get a lower interest rate and funds toward closing. In 2026, I purchased a condo in the Gold Coast with Brooke; her negotiation skills are unmatched, and she continued to walk me through each step of the process, looking out for my best interests. She made great recommendations and referred me to a lender who helped me secure the lowest interest rate possible. Brooke is the only realtor I will use, and I highly recommend her. read more

Brooke helped us find our first house in a very competitive Chicago Market. We were new to home buying and also new to Chicago and we would not have been able to do it without her guidance. She is extremely knowledgable on the city and the housing market and was able to help us quickly narrow down our search. We looked at a lot of houses over a long period and at no point did we feel any pressure from her to make a purchase. In fact, there were actually multiple properties she talked us out of putting an offer on. She is not afraid to point out things that she thinks could be issues, and I knew by the end of the home buying process that I could trust her eye for quality. We love the house we are in and could not have done it without Brooke. read more

I am so grateful for Brooke's guidance during the purchase of my first place! Brooke was incredibly responsive and flexible. She is a good listener and asks thought provoking questions that help get to the heart of the issue. She helped me figure out and articulate exactly what I was looking for and I couldn't be happier with my condo. As an added bonus, her recommendations for real-estate adjacent services were spot on. Overall, my home buying experience was very positive due, in large part, to Brooke. read more

Brooke has been my realtor for over 10 years. She helped me buy and sell a condo and a house and I also referred her to my sister, who she has helped many times. Brooke is truly the best there is! She is smart, hard working, knowledgable, responsive, connected, dedicated, and incredibly kind. She is a true advocate for her clients, getting to know them, listening to what is important to them, helping them find exactly what they are looking for and advocating for them through the process. She makes the process feel simple and makes you feel supported at every step of the way. I recently relocated to another state and she went above and beyond to help me find a fabulous realtor to guide me on my move. It is impossible to put into words how wonderful Brooke is and how grateful I am for her kindness, guidance and support at every major stage in my real estate life. Hire her! Brooke provides exceptional customer service. This was the second time I have relied on her knowledge and expertise when both purchasing and selling property. This time I requested Brooke's assistance to purchase an older home and navigate the pros and cons of renovating. She went above and beyond to help me to buy the house I wanted for a considerably reduced amount and also to sell my condo swiftly at my full asking price. I felt completely informed, guided, and supported throughout. I couldn't be more happy or satisfied. Brooke is the absolute best at what she does and I highly recommend her. read more

My wife and I have done 3 transactions with Brooke, buying/selling our first condo and most recently buying a larger home for our growing family. Brooke has been a consummate professional and true advisor throughout the entire home buying journey. If it weren't for her patiently guiding us through the process with her honest advice, we would have certainly "settled" for something that we would not be as happy in as our new home today. I will always recommend her to my friends and family. She also has a good team behind her for financials, attorney, etc. All are responsive and professional. read more

Brooke is amazing! She is incredibly knowledgeable in real estate and helped us out so much in purchasing our first home. She fought hard to get us the best deal and was able to help us beat out another offer! We did a gut renovation and had no idea where to start and she was able to recommend contractors to us for everything. We'll definitely be working with Brooke in the future! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Brooke has been absolutely amazing! My wife and I are relocating to California back to the Chicago area and Brooke helped us purchase a house in the north shore- all done primarily through the phone, email and FaceTime. She scored us an amazing deal on the house and saved us a ton of money. I was happy at a particular price point, but Brooke insisted we could get an even better deal. She has great connections, so working with an inspector and lawyer will be easy and effortless with no hassle. Also, Brooke made herself available any time for questions and made it out to the burbs even though she's based in the city. I was so happy that I set my parents up with her, and she got them an amazing deal in Vernon Hills. My dad, who has bought and sold several homes over the past 40 years, remarked that he had never worked with someone who was as skilled in negotiation as Brooke. Brooke makes the home buying process incredibly easy...will be returning to her if and when we move on to a new house! read more

As a first time home buyer, we had no idea where to start and thank God we found Brooke!! From the very beginning we knew we were in good hands. We worked with her last Spring of 2021 and with a few big life events (getting engaged, starting to plan a wedding, & my husband starting a new job) we needed to reset and hold off on buying. We stayed in touch with Brooke and we picked back up on the search this past Summer. She helped us find a great loan agent at Prime Lending that made the process so much smoother. Every property we saw with Brooke, we always felt so at ease with her and knew she was going to tell us straight up if there were any issues or could potentially not be a good fit for us. She helped us find our NEW HOME and we followed her lead through the entire process (from making the offer, to the inspection, and she helped us get a sellers credit that was perfect for our brand new water heater). We closed a month before our wedding and are so thankful we had Brooke to make everything easier than we could have even imagined. We're passing her info to all of our friends who will be looking to buy within the next few years!! read more

My wife and I just moved to Chicago and bought our house with Brooke's help. We can't recommend her enough. brooke is the best! seamless experience selling our chicago condo. highly recommend!!

Brooke was absolutely wonderful to work with! As first time buyers we did not know how this whole process would work. And often didn't know all the right questions to ask and she not only explained everything to us and all the steps coming ahead, she also took the time to get to know us and what exactly we were looking for. While we walked through houses she made sure all the important questions were asked AND answered. After we found a place she continued to help with the mortgage company and attorney and had amazing recommendations (very happy we chose to use her options) and the process was incredibly smooth. Any little hiccup and she on it within minutes and it never took more than a couple hours to get a hold of her (even when we were emailing or texting late at night or early mornings). She is great at her job but you can tell she genuinely wanted us to be happy and wasn't just looking for a sale and shoving us into something that wasn't perfect for us. And it paid off as we found our dream home and couldn't be happier we chose to go with Brooke. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor - whether first or fifth time buyer! read more

Brooke, Daryl and the whole team are really a dream to work with! They are super efficient and strategic, incredible negotiators, timely and tasteful, and just all around easy people to work with. What's even more impressive is their help getting us out of one home and into another, and both houses bought and sold in under 6 months with many renovations during COVID-19. Quite a feat. Thank you for making our lives easier and helping us grow into our forever home! read more

My husband and I worked with Brooke to purchase our first home in Chicago. We were looking for a 2bd/2ba condo in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview area. As soon as we met Brooke, we knew she was the right choice! Her personal knowledge of these neighborhoods is unparalleled and since she is a longtime resident of Lakeview herself, we felt she really gave authentic feedback about locations, pricing, etc. Brooke was very patient with us throughout the entire process. As first-time homebuyers, we, of course, had lots of questions and were hesitant to go through with offers at first. We quickly learned that the Lincoln Park/Lakeview neighborhoods are extremely competitive in our price range. We lost out on our first two offers, but Brookes expertise helped us find the right place at the right place that finally worked! The best thing about Brooke is that she has her client's best interests at heart. She would never let us overbid on a property just to get the sale and really helped us think through every pro and con of each property that we looked at. When it comes to negotiating, Brooke is definitely the person you want on your team. She was able to help us get the assistance in closing costs we needed to complete some significant repairs on our property. Finally, it's not just Brooke who is excellent but the team she works with as well. Her assistant Daryl is wonderful and was able to take us on showings if Brooke was overbooked. Her suggestions for loan officers, lawyers and even repairmen were top notch as well. As Brooke is one of the top realtors in Chicago, I'm sure she has a plethora of clients, but she always made us feel like we were a priority. She responds quickly and really gives you her full attention when you are together. There is no doubt we will use Brooke again in the future and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell property in Chicago! read more

I worked with Brooke in spring 2021 and she was absolutely phenomenal!! She was incredibly responsive, gave me great guidance, and really made me feel like I was a part of a team throughout the selling process. Her team and her partners (photographers, recommended attorney, and within her DreamTown group) made the process smooth, and gave me all the info I needed to feel ready to make all the needed decisions. Even after closing she's been available when I've needed random support, like when I accidentally shipped something to the unit I sold. I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell in Chicago!! read more

If you are looking to buy in the Chicagoland area Brooke will be your best friend! I found Brooke on yelp and she walked me through the process of buying a condo in Old Town. Brooke is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of purchasing real estate including the best way to submit offers. As a person moving to Chicago from Nashville, Brooke did a great job in helping me understand options in different neighborhoods around the city. She was always well prepared with carefully planned showings, always highlighting the good and the bad of each property. All during the process she listened and learned what I liked and disliked, and my preferences clearly drove what showings she booked in our second and third trips. As we moved to closing on a deal, she was very helpful in the negotiations and also had great references for inspectors and lawyers. Everything went very smoothly throughout the process and her help was invaluable in making that happen. Moving cross-country is a stressful situation, Brooke did quite a lot to help make it as easy as possible and enjoyable. She was clearly on my team and I would definitely recommend Brooke to any of my friends or family, and would certainly work with her again myself. read more

My husband and I could not be more grateful for Brooke! She is a fantastic realtor with a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the home buying process in the city of Chicago. She worked tirelessly to quickly find my husband and I our dream home, and was able to get us closed and moved in prior to the birth of our son. I'm a 28 year old first time buyer and it was an absolute dream to work with Brooke. Literally over the course of a year+, as at first I was still unsure whether or not I was going to buy, we looked at over 25 properties together before I finally found my dream home. Brooke stresses patience. While the process is exciting, she leverages her vast knowledge of the Chicago market to encourage you to get the best value and to not settle for anything less than exactly what you want. There were numerous properties I identified as potential buys, but she has insight that few others have, which got me to reconsider my decisions. But ultimately with her help, I found my home- a space that checked off every box on my massive wish list. From a customer service perspective, Brooke is as genuine as it gets. Throughout the entire process I always felt like she had my best interests at heart. There was not one call or email that went unanswered. And there was not one showing where she would not try to accomodate to my schedule. Use Brooke and you will not be disapointed! Eric- Lincoln Park read more

I think it is rare, if not impossible, to come across a real estate agent that immediately feels like a long ago friend. One who respects your wishes, desires and hopes; one who wants what is best for you and shows you by standing up for you when you do not know how; one who speaks in a straightforward and realistic manner and does not sugar coat the things that are hard to hear but ultimately necessary; one who never complains about your "urgent" late night or early morning texts of paranoia and extreme anxiety; one who truly listens, even when you change your mind a thousand times because you finally realize you had no idea what you wanted in the first place. Ladies and gentlemen, Brooke is this real estate agent. It is no wonder she has a perfect 5 star rating on Yelp in an era when even the best of the best cannot achieve that sort of fame. As someone who has experience with the typical Chicago real estate agent, trust me when I tell you to go with Brooke instead. Brooke won't encourage you to settle, even when you've been looking for a year and have contemplated settling yourself. We are now home in a beautiful (perfect for us) place because Brooke wouldn't let us settle. Brooke is a Chicago-native, has lived in any and all of the neighborhoods you're likely considering and will give you the 4-1-1 just like the local news (and no need to wait until 11pm because ain't nobody got time for that). Brooke will grill the listing agent in a sadistic, yet oh so necessary and satisfying way. Brooke will set up showing after showing, even when she knows "this place" probably won't work for you. She understands choosing a house is a journey and you've got to date some gross weirdos before you find the one. We found Brooke on Yelp and she is indeed as good as you can imagine based on all of the other reviews you will read. Do yourself a favor and call her. I did and she answered on the third ring. read more

We are so thankful for our experience with Brooke! She is very professional yet easy to connect to and that's what we were hoping to find in a realtor. It was our first time buying a home and Brooke made it a stress-free process. She is knowledgeable, reliable, and honest. She is very much to the point and we appreciated that! She touched base with us often throughout the process and always asked if there's anything she could do to help. Brooke was awesome - highly recommend her! read more

It's hard to put in to words how great of an asset Brooke is to a first-time home buyer. She was extremely knowledgeable and knew all the right questions to ask as well as things to look out for in each individual condo we saw. In a very exhausting process where I put in offers on at least six different places around West Town, Bucktown and Logan Square, Brooke remained positive and was understanding when I needed to take a short break from the search process. When we were ready to pick back up, Brooke was able to secure the first appointment on a pre-market listing of a renovated condo in Logan Square. Her personal network and knowledge of the market throughout the various neighborhoods in Chicago were so beneficial in helping me find the perfect place for my first-time home purchase. Not to mention - she's really cool and fun to hang out with! Look no further - Brooke is the best! read more

We were first time buyers and Brooke was amazing!!! Our situation was a bit unique as we were looking to come back to the Midwest after living in California for two years and had one weekend to look at and make an offer on a home. Brooke did tons of leg work before our visit. She provided us with countless listings to view, and really got a great sense of who we were and what we were looking for even before we met! We really appreciated Brooke's honesty and feedback even before we got to Chicago for our whirlwind house-hunting trip. Once we got to town Brooke had an amazing weekend of house-hunting planned. She truly took our wants and needs and found us what seemed like 100 listings to check out. While looking at homes, Brooke didn't hesitate to ask tough questions of the selling agents. Throughout the whole process it was absolutely apparent that she had our best interest in mind. Not only was she looking out for us and our needs, but her sense of intuition was fantastic as well! Without having to tell her, Brooke knew what we liked and didn't like which was very helpful in our whirlwind home shopping weekend! Once under contract Brooke worked with us diligently to make sure our needs were met and that we could be in our home by the time we moved back to Chicago. Throughout the entire process, it was easy to trust Brooke and she was an amazing advocate for us! I hope we won't be moving any time soon, but I'll look forward to working with Brooke again when that time comes! Ben and Elise, Roscoe Village read more

Brooke helped me through buying my first home and did an amazing job at every step of the way. She was quick to understand what I wanted and was proactive about finding cool places that matched my preferences. She was assertive in getting information from other agents and finding potential hazards in properties that we saw. Her responsiveness and flexibility were great, perfect for a busy schedule. When there were tons of nasty things to negotiate for the place I wanted, she was a great guide to the whole process and helped me to get what I wanted without overpaying. Can't say enough good things about Brooke! My wife and I worked with her to buy a town home in Lakeview. She was a referral from my wife's co-worker and she was excellent all around. Brooke was extremely knowledgeable about the entire Chicago area which made it easy for us to narrow the search down to just a few neighborhoods. I travel a lot for work so time to look at properties was pretty limited and Brooke was always super responsive and willing to work around our schedule. I can't stress enough how important it is in Chicago to have an agent that actually knows the city well and can articulate what each neighborhood has to offer (or to avoid). There were so many things that we didn't even consider or research until she started helping us. We can't thank her enough for helping us find our first home! Highly recommended. read more

RECOMMEND WITHOUT HESITATION! We just closed on a property with Brooke and were thrilled with how wonderful she was to work with. She kept us informed at all steps along the way, she had a great sense of finding properties that suited our tastes, and most of all she has such a wonderful understanding of the area. She made our buying experience a fun adventure, and demonstrated absolute professionalism along the way. She definitely steered us to what we were looking for, and was patient with us while we searched various options. As a first-time home (well, condo) buyer and as a relative newcomer to the Windy City, I was unsure of what I wanted, unsure of the right questions to ask, and admittedly nervous about the whole process of buying a home. Brooke's knowledge, patience, negotiation skills, and dedication put my mind at ease and helped me find my way into a great condo that had everything I was looking for. Brooke is highly knowledgeable about seemingly every inch of the Chicago market, and is able to rattle off details about each neighborhood and every building right off the top of her head. She's candid, realistic, personable, and flexible -- and repeatedly went out of her way to ensure that I was comfortable and happy. Brooke is an incredible realtor that made our home purchase a very smooth and pain free process. From our first meeting, Brooke listened to what we wanted in a new home and set up multiple showings for us to see each time out. The best part of this experience was that Brooke paid attention to what we liked/disliked at each place we saw, then used that information to continue to refine what showings she would set up for us and even recommend places that were exactly what we were looking for each time out. Another valuable part was that we completely trusted her input and we felt like she was putting our interests first and really wanted us to find the perfect home, which we did! Brooke would always know the details of each listing and offer us the pros/cons to each place, so that we didn't make a bad decision without knowing all of the details (e.g. short sells, troubled condo association/funds, history of the building/neighborhood/developer, etc.). On top of being extremely professional and talented, Brooke is a lot of fun to hang out with and made the 2 hour showings being driven around in her car a pleasure! With our recent home purchase now complete, we don't just view Brooke as a realtor, we view her as a good friend that we will definitely have over for a few celebratory cocktails once we get settled! In my opinion a great realtor is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate market, truly cares about their client's wants and needs when it comes to a potential home, and provides guidance and insight when needed but is not pushy. Brooke Daitchman has all of these key qualities (and more). Brooke helped me through the process of finding my first home in Chicago. Before starting to look at properties, Brooke took the time to understand my wants/needs, concerns, budget, etc. When we did start to look at places, Brooke always provided valuable insight and pointed out key aspects of a property (good and bad) however it was never in a way that made me feel pressured into making a quick decision. Brooke is also great at replying to emails and calls in a timely manner. During my home buying process, I had countless questions and requests for Brooke. She always replied back very quickly and provided much appreciated detail in her responses. When I finally found my ideal home, Brooke walked me through each step of the process (offer, counter offers, home inspection, request list, closing, etc). I always felt well prepared going into each phase of the process and knew I could rely on Brooke for guidance. As I initially found Brooke on Yelp, I felt it was only fitting that I write her a much deserved positive review. I strongly recommend Brooke for anyone looking for a home.
