These are the worst people I have ever met! They sold me a puppy with ticks and parasites. There kennels are dirty. They don't believe in using flea & tick prevention and don't treat their premises. They are cold, snobby, and tacit to potential buyers. They charged me $4,000 and didn't even send me home with a puppy packet or proper blanket, only a small plastic bag with food and a dirty towel. They keep several adult dogs in their yard in the cold weather. I have witnessed them yelling at their dogs on multiple occasions for simply barking or doing the littlest thing wrong. They accused me of having a bad attitude for no reason at all. Their behavior made me very uncomfortable and I left one of their events feeling upset. I only bought from them because of the champion bloodlines--and it's less likely that their puppies would have anything seriously wrong with them. They accused me of looking for problems because I wanted to do an Embark test for preventative measures. They are Presidents of the Blue Ridge Cavalier King Charles Club. From my experience with them, they protect themselves and members of their own group and are hostile to potential buyers. I met them at the Asheville Cavalier King Charles Specialty dog show and spoke to other people looking to buy puppies and they all affirmed my experience and said the same things about them--that they are very difficult to talk to, unapproachable and not very nice. Sure, their dogs have champion bloodlines, but I wouldn't recommend dealing with them directly. Because of their negligence, their puppy spread parasites to my dog and he is now sick. What should have been an easy, happy time welcoming my new pup has been made stressful. They both have coccidia and these worms trigger my dogs already existing inflammatory bowel disease. They were made aware of all these problems and still had the audacity to blame and accuse me over the phone. They use intimidation and other tactics to overpower other people--such as talking over you, interrupting, refusing to answer questions. If you dare call them with any problem or issue, they will bark at you, and accuse you and treat you like a bad person that they refuse to sell to. My general advice to potential buyers is BUYER BEWARE! read more
