First of all, great great burgers, literally one of the best I've had!…read more Service was fantastic and very accommodating to our large group after the last Mexico World Cup game and I was grateful they could accommodate us! The beef patty was juicy and well seasoned and the bun topped it all off! I forgot which burger I got specifically but it was a bbq one for sure and it was just amazing! The fries were crispy just the way I like them, without being too overcooked! Drinks were great too and very well priced! Lots of my friends love this place and they are not wrong about it! Definitely check it out for a good bar setting with good food and service!

Their patio is great. Our server, Juan, was awesome. He checked on us just the right amount and was very knowledgeable on the menu!! For drinks, I got a Diet Coke (duh), and my husband got a beer. The Diet Coke came in a HUGE glass (as it should!!) and the brew was good. He got the rabbit foot brewing beach bunny and really enjoyed it. Juan let us know people have been loving this and that the owner of lucky 13 is involved with rabbit foot brewing. Love a local connection!! For food, I got the celestial burger and my husband got the ol man. Omg they were delicious!! They are on the pricier side, but the portions are BIG. Could def be shared. Their onion rings are amazing. I tried the rosemary garlic fries and they were delicious!! I would def recommended checking out lucky 13!!

They have kept the basics from back in the day, their Rare Roast Beef Sandwich, their pasta salads, and their French Onion Soup, are three of the menu that have survived time and are still great choices... I highly recommend The Pub, for a place to get a bite to eat and a drink.

Located upstairs in the historic Trolley Square is Desert Edge, a really neat little brewery. It…read morewas laid back, with 70's-80's classic rock music playing overhead. Exposed brick, industrial charm with neat character. Brewery equipment can be seen through their windows. We ordered ourselves up some beers; they have a nice assortment on tap. I enjoyed a Happy Valley Hefeweizen, with a lemon wedge. Crisp and refreshing. No wonder it was Utah's very first GABF gold medal winner! My husband ordered a couple lagers. For the 20 oz, it was only $1 more than the pint. :) I ordered the l open-faced sirloin sandwich, and it was heavenly. A delightful umami bomb. Served atop two pieces of fresh focaccia, it had a tarragon sauce, then a bed of tender sirloin strips, topped with sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions, then crispy scallions over the top with blue cheese crumbles. It was delightful. My french fries were a little cold, but tasty nonetheless. Generous portions, with a tasty side of fry sauce. My husband ordered the special, a blackened chicken and pepper-jack sandwich. It was delicious too. It had flavorful sautéed chilies and caramelized onions, with a chipotle aioli. The chicken was cooked just right. I had a bite, and it was awesome. He ordered the side salad with blue cheese dressing, and it looked good. Lots of garden veggies. The dessert menu said all their desserts are made using the classic recipes from the old Red Butte Cafe. We split a slice of the Chocolate Decadence, a flourless chocolate cake. It was a nice dense dessert, with satisfyingly rich semi-sweet/bittersweet chocolate layers. It's important to note the service. The waitstaff were very quick to return with things we requested (napkins, beers, cake, etc), and were super friendly. Different people waited on our table, which confused me for a split second, but we ended up really liking that about them. They were all working together as a team. Excellent service, and very personable. Thank you, we will be back! If weather cooperates, I look forward to dining outside next time. :)

I celebrated my birthday here last night and it was absolutely perfect. I was in town from…read moreScottsdale and chose one of my favorite restaurants to celebrate with family. We started with the Brussels sprouts, which everyone loved. I usually order the fried chicken, but this time went with the Wagyu beef--melt-in-your-mouth tender with really interesting flavor combinations, though slightly on the salty side. My dad ordered the fried chicken and enjoyed it, but felt the breading was a bit heavy and may have been slightly undercooked. The rest of the table had the cod and pork loin, and both were big hits--we cleaned every plate. They easily accommodated our party of five even though the reservation was for four, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was bubbly, attentive, and made the night feel special. I'll always come back when I'm in town.

Their menu changes weekly so it's always exciting to see what their new burgers are every Thursday…read more My friends ordered their "gyro" burger and I ordered off the menu along with a few appetizers. I didn't try the gyro burger because it was very raw on the inside. It was lamb and wagyu but I prefer my burger meats to be cooked all the way through. My friends said it was sweet and it's probably because they glazed the bun. The fat bastard oysters were too big for my liking. There's also gelato on top which was weird because it made the oyster taste like it was partially frozen. I don't recommend this. The rolls tasted like biscuits. It was crumbly and it wasn't expected for a nice restaurant. The heirloom tomato pastry was my favorite dish of the night. The half sashimi trout was more like a stew in sweet sauce. The baby yellow potatoes were just added without any seasonings. Assuming it should soak in the sweet juices? I didn't care for it. Trout was good, but preferred that the skin was crispy, which was extremely soggy, drowned in the sauce. Server asked if I wanted bread to drink the sauce and sure. Why not. It may taste better with regular bread and it wasn't. You can also skip valet parking if you just walk an extra minute down the parking lot. I forgot what one of the desserts name but it was the one with butter cake. This was extremely sweet too with the gooey caramel sauce. The donut was ridiculously expensive at $16 with a little honeycomb decoration. Nothing special with the desserts. Overall, everything is sweet here. Their menu is a lot and I feel like the burger menu can be a little too much and trying too hard to be fancy.
