What sets Synapse Atelier apart is the deep respect they have for each child as a capable, curious, and unique individual. The educators carefully observe, listen, and respond to the children's interests, allowing learning to unfold naturally through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences. Our son is constantly engaged in meaningful projects that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and imagination rather than rote instruction. We have been especially impressed with how Synapse Atelier supports the development of executive function skills. Through play, collaboration, and guided reflection, our son has grown in his ability to focus, take turns, manage emotions, and persist through challenges. The teachers model patience and self-regulation beautifully, and these qualities are clearly reflected in the children. Equally remarkable has been his growth in social and verbal skills. The environment at Synapse Atelier fosters respectful communication, empathy, and teamwork, and we have seen him become more confident in expressing himself, sharing ideas, and interacting with peers. The educators create countless opportunities for conversation, storytelling, and cooperative play, which have significantly strengthened his language and social awareness. Above all, the warmth, care, and genuine dedication of the Synapse Atelier staff shine through every day. They truly know and love each child, and it shows in the joyful, secure, and vibrant atmosphere of the classroom. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a special place for our son and would wholeheartedly recommend Synapse Atelier to any family seeking a Reggio-inspired program that nurtures the whole child--intellectually, emotionally, socially, and creatively.

Laila, Juanita, and Jasmin are all so caring, gentle, and supportive of the children, it is evident how attentive they are to each child's individual needs, and as such have built such a wonderful environment in which the children really thrive. It is a small and mighty community and we've made what we know will be lifelong friends. I have a one-year-old son as well and cannot wait to enroll him next year when he is of age.

It has been about two years I think at this point, and I am still talking about what a helpful turning point your support was during a challenging time. My daughter and I have been through unbelievable and tragic/chaotic life circumstances at times since, and are still overall both doing really well and connecting in health ways - living our best lives in a weird world! I am technically an expert in all of this, and was still just struggling, so I cannot give enough positive and true feedback on this process with you. Thanks again for everything, and figured better late than never, lol!

The idea here is that parenting is more of a self-centric (and partner-centric) exercise; throughout the program, Cassidy was responsive, flexible and very empathetic. What it does is give you a framework for how to make decisions about parenting. It fills in knowledge gaps around what our kids need. The content from Jai Institute for Parenting is good, but honestly it's Cassidy that makes the whole thing worthwhile. If you're at the point where you're even exploring a "parenting coach" then working with Cassidy may be exactly what you're looking for.

What I liked about Erica was her method of questioning rather than just telling me what she thought. She asked me what my thoughts were when I shared something with her, and she helped me explore what messages my actions might be unintentionally sending to my family. She helped me come to my own conclusions rather than feeding me information that didn't ring true to my situation. She suggested a few books that could help me work through my situation. I left our session feeling like I had the tools to start making the necessary changes. It was a pleasure meeting with her in her calm and aesthetically pleasing office. She was inviting and welcoming which put me completely at ease.

In my opinion one of the best attribute about Erica is she does not tell you how you should parent or handle a situation. She identifies your parenting style and needs and presents options to you. In addition, I had a one on one consultation regarding choosing the best type of preschool for my son. Erica explained various philosophies and other key features when looking at schools. Her information has been invaluable during my preschool search.

It's such a thoughtfully put together program - a different theme every week, story time, free play in the big sensory gym, messy play, arts and crafts and snack time with friends. It's also been really special as a parent to be able to join the kiddo in school instead of just dropping off. There are other kids there that go with nannies and they also seem to do really well. It's great that the kids can go explore and play but then check in with a trusted caregiver here and there when they are feeling the need for closeness too. And it's so fun to get to be silly alongside the kiddos there. We've also done some of the other standalone classes like messy play and little movers and those are basically shorter versions of the pre preschool and are great. We'll definitely keep doing those too until we age out. :-p After mommy and me I had no idea what to do when the kids graduated and were 1. This program has been so wonderful for us as it provides my child with some structure and plenty of time to play. I couldn't say nicer things about the teacher Danielle. She goes above and beyond and is just great and the staff is so so nice. Highly recommend!

Our almost 4 yr old son (recently diagnosed with ASD) attended Play 2 Progress' summer camp program for two weeks and had an AWESOME time. While it took him a moment to adjust to his new environment, with a lot of tears and resistance the first 2 days, Allie and her team (including Natalie and Kaitlyn and Esme) showed tremendous patience, flexibility, and willingness to come up with creative solutions (like creating a visual schedule of activities and adding a one on one counselor to give our son extra attention), all of which helped him feel very comfortable and welcome. As parents, we had a lot of worry and anxiety at first, but those fears evaporated by the 3rd day when our son jumped out of the car and ran into the playroom with a backwards looking "Bye Mom!" THANK YOU again for making our son's first camp experience so great.

Julia is so poised and sage, but also so warm and fun loving. I learned so much from her and by just observing her. She has a beautiful way with words and tenderness with all she does. I have cute photos of my baby hanging on her every word too. We adapted as they grew (toddlers go crazy when snacks are aplenty, we found) and found things that worked for us. I love a collaborative environment. The topics evolve as you go as well, but Julia is consistent with the scaffolding of the advice. Our group was so wonderful and it was a joy to watch them grow up together. So many milestones shared. So many smiles. All their first birthdays were celebrated together. Our spouses forged friendships. We know how lucky we are that we gelled so well. And the best part? The friendships are ours to keep. I wish this support, love and camaraderie for every parent! It's truly special.
