Patisserie Valerie - chocolate moose

Patisserie Valerie's cakes are always so eye-catching whenever I've walked near their shop windows…read more This one is centrally located around the main shopping areas in town with a spacious dining room inside. We came in midday to finally try a couple of slices and have a drink (out of a bottle if you order soda). I'd had my stomach set on the Strawberry Gateau and my companion ordered a piece of Cheesecake. I liked the soft cake and cream as well as the macadamia nut crumble on mine, but the cheesecake wasn't as nice--a slight soapy taste thus went unfinished. While we were seated swiftly, service was certainly not swift. Similar to a previous reviewer's experience, it took ages to flag down a server for the bill once we were ready to make an exit. The cakes look great, but as this is a chain, they are not made in house so will be sitting out for quite a while to be drooled upon by passersby before being served. If you must come, perhaps a visit to their sister location outside the Grafton would yield better service and quality in the least. 2.5 Stars

Been to the one in Fitzroy st Cambridge on a few occasions, but never again…read more There were no more than 6 customers, but from the time of ordering it was 20 minutes before we got our coffee. The waitress took our order then came back and told us no almond croissant she then offered an alternative which we accepted, only to come back a few minutes later to tell us that was also not available What a shambles and evidently staff who don't know what they are doing, or don't care

Love love love. Not…read morea lot in term of grocery in this area, so then farm shop is a blessing to me. Not a fan of the co-op down the road this is the best place to get produce, eggs, meat and just about most things you can think of to fill your fridge and cupboard. The upstairs even has large freezers with ice cream and baked goods, and more meat. The people are very friendly and everything is quite affordable. I am so happy to be able to support my local farmer. They'll soon be starting a delivery service as well!

We've just moved to the area and are here for a year without a car, so being able to walk to a shop…read morewith such variety and extremely reasonable prices is wonderful! My husband was able to find whole oats here (called Jumbo Oats) which he couldn't find in any of the major grocery stores. The meat prices are extremely good especially for being so fresh and local, and the frozen meats are a super bargain! We bought some just-picked seasonal strawberries yesterday and they were amazingly delicious. We still need to get some things at a bigger store like some familiar national/international brands or particular varieties of groceries, but Radmore Farm Shop is definitely our new place to walk for fruit, veg, and meat. It's perfect for those "What are we going to have for dinner" afternoons because I can grab meat, onions, mushrooms, and whatever veg suits and cook something up fast. We are definite fans and plan to shop here routinely while we're in town.
