He even provided input on a past procedure from a different dentist and told me even he wouldn't have done what they did. This made me truly feel like I could trust him! I didn't answer the call because I was already in the park lot getting my kids down. Front desk was very concern about lunch time being at 12pm. Now, why would they schedule a family of 4 at 11:30am?? Knowing I have a 6 & 7 year old, the possibly of that age group having cavities is high. Theirs no way in 30mins they were gonna do exam, x-rays & treatment(if needed) Luckily my kids didn't have cavities. But as a dental assistant myself, if the dr or assistants are strict about lunch time, maybe not schedule a big family 30mins before. Everything looked and felt rushed. Lights were already off/dimmed when I walked out of the exam room. That was very unprofessional.

We've never been told by a dental office that will not call to verify, so that's a first. The insurance company told us they always call! Our new dentist office told us we won't have to worry about it because they'll handle it all. On another instance, they refused to see my child because grandmother took him and didn't login to my chart to confirm appointment, however they showed up on time. I called from out of town and they said they wouldn't see him. There's a dentist office on every corner, so avoid this one if you can.

Next came the visit with Dr. Strassner (not sure if I spelt her name correctly) and she was absolutely wonderful! For one, because of my son's age, they don't expect him to be held down on a table so his teeth can be examined, which is what I was expecting, but they had a super kid friendly room with activities all over the wall and the doctor and I sat knee to knee so she could examine him while he was secured in both our laps. She was super thorough and cleaned his teeth in 30 seconds while we all sang him The Wheels on the Bus. She had an attentive, comforting bedside manner and made several excellent recommendations with alternative options depending on my comfort level. My son has a lip tie and she wasn't pushy about removing it because he is unaffected by it. After his (quick and thorough) visit, my son got to pick a toy from a bin and we were on our way. It appears that this dentistry is not in network for any insurance company, and charges above and beyond what a normal cleaning would cost and be covered, resulting in the inevitability of the client paying for a cleaning. I expressed that I was told they would be covered. The lady on the phone said yes we could have mistaken that I am sorry, and I said ok well should I talk to someone or leave it alone as I am not paying for what I was told was covered. She said I guess don't pay. So that is where they have left it. I am hoping to hear from them so that I can end this review on a positive note.

We brought our 18-month-old who was going to cry no matter what but they did all they could to make things pleasant for her. They give your kid balloons and little toys to take home. There's a television, if you want your child's favorite show on. Dr. Lam was super sweet to our toddler and to us (took the time to patiently answer all of our questions). I also really liked their waiting room -- it's fun and colorful without being too "childish" or cartoon-heavy. It's made to appeal to both adults and children which I really enjoyed. Parking is easy in their large free lot. Just a heads up, if you're bringing a stroller, park behind the building (that's where the ramp is). Also note that their office is pretty small so if you are bringing a stroller, I'd recommend a small one.

We showed up 10 minutes prior to our appointment time and had previously completed all the forms they sent us. We waited 50 minutes past our appointment time to be seen. I asked the front desk staff when we would be seen and she immediately brought us back to a room where we sat and waited for another 20 minutes before a hygienist came into the room. She was short with us and asked if my son would tolerate x-rays. I mentioned he likely would but might be more squirmy as we've been waiting for over an hour. She rolled her eyes and left the room. She said the dentist would be right in. It was another 20 minutes before the dentist came in.
