She always knows how to interpret what I want and her recommendations are exactly what I was looking for, even if I didn't know it myself. I always leave there happy, and although I'm sure the other staff are quite great, I know that when I see her, I won't be disappointed.

I was worried about my decision to stick with Brandi as my hairstylist after the awful consultation I received, which I had to pay FULL PRICE for. It was a couple of weeks before the wedding, so I felt I had no other choice. She didn't listen to what I wanted. I felt like she just did whatever she wanted...I could've done a better job, but it was my wedding day and I wanted a professional. I wanted no worries. I got the very opposite. Brandi zipped up my veil in the garment bag I brought it in after my consultation, therefore ripping it. She proceeded to deny that she did this. This should've been a red flag. I should've ran screaming for the hills. She is probably the most unfriendly stylist I have ever had the displeasure to meet. I was willing to believe she was simply having a bad day. This is the one aspect of the day I was truly unsatisified with...my hair. Did I mention she used a regular rubberband in my hair? Like, one you would use in an office. On my wedding day, she glanced at a picture I brought in, and AGAIN, proceeded to do a very sloppy job with my hair, rushing to keep her appointment with her next client. I began to cry. She was completely unsympathetic. She redid it. I was still unhappy with it, but it would have to do because I WAS ON A SCHEDULE AS WELL! I felt so stupid. I am so nice and felt like she took advantage of that. I even gave her a good tip. What was I thinking? My veil was not securely fastened and fell out several times even before the ceremony. It also fell out mid-ceremony. My hair looked like shit and was falling out of the bobby pins, which showed oh so tackily. I was looking at my wedding photos and my hair just looks AWFUL in them. Thanks a lot, Brandi. You should find a new profession because you suck at what you do.

Maggie and her team are extremely professional and kind. Marissa did my hair and make-up trials and she did such a nice job of picking the right colors and styles for me. I'm not much of a make-up person anyways so I didn't give her much to go off of, but I was so pleased that she came up with a nice natural palette that still accented my features and made me feel done up in just the right way. My sisters and I got our nails (pedicures and manicures) a few days before the wedding and the space was perfect. There were three of us, and they had our appointments overlap and rotated us through. The nail room was the perfect spot to spend our morning and we could chat and not feel like we were interrupting other customers. Our nails ended up just how we wanted them and we really enjoyed the ladies who did them for us. Last, my bridal party and I all had our hair done off-site for the wedding. They were very accommodating with our unique space for the hair appointments and everyone loved how their hair turned out! We all selected pretty different styles and it was so nice to actually have them end up that way (I've had hair done from other places and we've all ended up with pretty much the same 'do despite not requesting that, so this was a relief). They were right on time, finished us up a few minutes early and were nice to have as a part of the big day. I'd recommend any of these services to others- and already have.

However, what really struck me was how well all the employees got along with each other. You can tell they are good friends and care about the customer AND their coworkers. They were telling inside jokes and asking about what they did over the weekend, plus, they let you in! Clearly, this is a great work environment, which makes it a great experience for you. Usually when I get my hair done someplace new there is that awkward silence or a bombardment of small-talk questions. However, with Sam, the person styling my hair, it was never awkward. He kept the conversation going seamlessly and even when the hair dryer was going the talking breaks felt natural. He was so caring and enthusiastic it is impossible to be in a bad mood. Plus he was great at doing hair! Not only was it definitely in my top 5 hair washing experiences, my hair felt lighter and smoother upon leaving. Granted I always just get a trim, but the layers were perfect. Since I was there, I decided last minute I wanted to get my eyebrows done and I asked if it was possible. They were able to accommodate me no problem. Amanda did my eyebrows and they were perfect. I wouldn't normally spend $15 on eyebrows, but it was worth the money. They were neat with perfect shape. Just like Sam, Amanda was super nice and clearly enjoyed her job. The cost is probably a bit high for the area, but compared to Chicago prices it really isn't too much. Its a little far to go regularly, but if I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come here.
