Great fresh local eggs. Delicious and super easy to pick up any time. I just wish I lived closer.

We are loyal Acme Phoenixville customers. Every Friday we go through the flyer and select sale…read moreitems to include on our shopping list. These items are stored in the Acme App on my wife's phone.  At check out we diligently enter the phone number on the key pad but on at least five or six occasions the sale price has not been credited.  Each time we went to Cindy (last name unknown) at customer service.  Most recently, Sat April 9th she accused us of trying to scam the store saying she couldn't just hand out money and questioning whether we actually had an account saying maybe we entered the landline or wrong cell phone number all with a sneer.  I felt we were being accused of either theft, lying or being too stupid to do it correctly.  This has happed with three different cashiers.  With Tom, the cashier we usually try to go to  it has never happened.  On one occasion the cashier cancelled the sale and rescanned everything.  This is incredibly annoying.  I don't know what the problem is, maybe a problem with the terminals or inadequate cashier training.  All we know is the the items are put into the app on my wife' phone and the correct phone number entered.  We have easy access to Giant and Wegmans and just as easily can shop there.  It is annoying in the extreme and upsetting first that it happens and second to have Cindy roll her eyes, sneer and suggest that we are trying to scam the store or just plain to stupid to do it correctly. That is hardly effective customer service rather is is customer alienation. Actually we like the store my initial bad review was directed to one person not the whole store.

Review your receipts carefully and watch out for fraudulent claims. The pharmacy is a good…read morepharmacy, and they give out 20% off the cart coupons after a number of scripts are filled to use in the store - a welcome perk for sure. On Tuesdays, the market claims to give 5% to anyone over 60 off their whole cart as well. Claims is the operative word on both the 20% the pharmacy unsuspectedly hands out and the 5% senior discount, for if you check your receipt carefully it's doubtful you received either one of them despite the written and verbal confirmation that you have -- do the math and you didn't get either most of the time. We suspected this several times but forgot to double-check it later until recently, and no matter how many various ways we did the math every one of them proved neither claimed discount was applied, and in fact some of the shelf sales were also unapplied. We found they owed us over $27.00 despite their oral and written confirmation that the coupon and discount had been applied, but when we returned with receipts they were ticked at being called out and only agreed to apply $16.00 so they still robbed us for the difference and the shelf sale price on another item. This is nothing short of fraud. They aren't the only grocery store engaged in such practices and they should not be permitted to get away with it, ever, but in the meantime, protect yourselves by reviewing your receipts and demanding what they owe you...we aren't done with this and will return for the remainder of what they lawfully owe us no matter how upsetting it is for them.

The cleanest Asian market you'll ever see. It's well organized with staples you'll need to cook…read moreAsian food. It's much smaller than the newly-opened Hung Vuong for sure, but it also provides a much more efficient shopping experience--you won't feel overwhelmed and get lost in the endless aisles. The owner who runs the register at Ebo is extremely friendly and helpful.

New Chinese/Asian grocery store alert!…read more Located in the Swedesford Plaza shopping center, it's not big market, but very clean and well lit inside. Nice selections of Asian vegetables, fruits, price is not as low as Chinatown lower than some other suburban Asian markets. According to the owner, the produce comes in daily, which is great to know. Frozen section (dumplings, buns, fishballs, etc) contains some nice brands that I could only find in New York/North Jersey previously. They have meat and Seafood (frozen and live), especially live fish, lobster and crabs (seasonal). Tons of noodles, rice, tofu, dried goods, condiments, sauces, and big selection of snacks. Super nice owners. They kept telling me that they would continue to stock their shelves daily. If you need something specific and can't find, ask them; they get their supplies from Philly and New York and are willing to find items when there's a demand. If they're unable to find it due to supply shortage, they would tell you. I really appreciated their honesty. Real-time updates via WeChat group, but it's mostly in Chinese. I would wait a bit until they are fully stocked, but there's definitely great potential to be my go-to Asian grocery store. Note: their current closing time is 7:30, not 8pm.
