I ordered a breakfast sammy, Mimi's reuben, a side of potato salad, and a large love-a-cado salad with balsamic dressing. It still blows my mind that everything served here is vegan as it is so so delish. Lastly I decided spur of the moment to grab a few of their baked goodies to go. To be honest I have never been tempted to try their sweets as it appears ordinary and not very moist looking. Boy was I so so wrong. The cookies, the cinnamon bun etc were all so so yummy. I will always get their sweets whenever I stop in. All their personal faves on recommendation were spot on! You really can't go wrong with whatever you get here!

The food is some of the best we've ever had and our breakfasts here were a highlight of our stay. The pastries are fresh and delicious but definitely don't skip out on the sit down meals here. The French toast and crepes were unreal and the potato's are delicious! The service was amazing, our waitresses were incredibly kind and created a very positive experience for us. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with flowers on each table and was very clean. It has a very nice overall atmosphere.

I really hate leaving a bad review, particularly since our first experience here last year was…read morereally good. However, our experience this morning was anything but good, and I'd actually say this was the worst breakfast I've had in years. I ordered what is called the Benedict Maddie which is their take on eggs Benedict. This is my go-to breakfast and their version was nearly inedible. From substituting the English muffin with a brioche bun that can't stand up to the moisture of the eggs and became a stodgy mess of sickly sweet pudding to the curdled and flavorless hollandaise that left me feeling sick afterward. Adding insult to injury was upcharging for ham that is a core ingredient of eggs Benedict. This was absurd given that already astounding prices they charge. Sides were potatoes which were okay, but it was also served with salad that I was suspect of given the current health issues with lettuce. My wife was equally disappointed with what was supposed to be a French omelette but turned out to be an overcooked, open face western omelette that was more like rubber than eggs. Her $9 blueberry smoothie was delicious though Service was slow with only two other tables occupied when we arrived, although our eventual server turned out to be quite pleasant. Coffee was never refilled and the bill for two people was just...well...arrogant. I guess this place really is French. The two stars are for the smoothie and our waiter. The rest is pretty forgettable.

I finally decided to stop by today (I actually went inside because I needed to use the bathroom). I'll admit, when I first walked in, my expectations dropped a bit based on the overall vibe. It just didn't give "you're about to have a really good espresso" if you know what I mean. Then I took my first sip and was immediately reminded not to judge a book by its cover. The espresso was smooth, bold, and really well-balanced. The pistachio flavor was noticeable without being overpowering, and the pastry was delicious too. Honestly, it's probably a good thing I didn't discover this place earlier in my rotation, because I absolutely would have been stopping here every day. -1 star because of the lack of coffee shop ambiance

I ordered coffee and two iced chai lattes. While they made those, I looked at their pastry case. I ordered strudel, chocolate croissants, and a pastrami sandwich (for the teenager). My iced chai was perfection. Not too sweet, and not too gingery. The chocolate croissant was unlike any I've had before. A braid of plain and chocolate dough with chocolate in the middle - which was almost pudding like. Absolutely unique and I'll be coming back for more. The strudel was also great. There was just enough dough to hold the filling which was fabulous - apples cooked perfectly, spices and again, not too sweet. My son is here 4 years and after finding this cafe, I know where I'll be getting breakfast. They also have a drive thru!

Ice cream is good-not many soft serve choices, but I decided to have the coffee frozen yogurt with rainbow sprinkles. I thought the frozen yogurt was very, very good. I'm not convinced that it wasn't actually ice cream... Room for improvement lies with the kids that work there. Decided to try their BLT and had a hot tea. Please expect to not receive your loose tea rinds as they steep it there for you. This adds time and will not allow for a second hot water fill. For a $5.00 tea, I do wish they allowed us to have the rind as mine was watered down. The barista added hot water as the tea steeper didn't fill up for the 20 oz. It was noticeable in taste. The sandwich was delicious and I look forward to seeing additional options with more protein in the future! I highly recommend to the mayo-averse to sub scallion CC for aoli on the vegetarian breakfast sandwich. My one minor gripe with the service is that on both occasions we've been, there's been confusion about who owns what drink when it's called out. I wish they'd announce the name along with the order, or at least write it on the cup. Coffee: Their drinks with syrups (I've tried the dirty chai, maple cardamom, and cinnamon bun) all tend to lean on the sweeter side, and it's hit or miss as to whether the other flavors come through - especially the maple cardamom. We didn't get either flavor. Next time, I'll stick to a standard coffee and milk drink. Baked Goods: Scones - a must-get! We tried the orange cranberry, and both agreed that it was unusually and exceptionally good - certainly the best I'd ever had. Plus, they're enormous, so plan to split or have leftovers. Cinnamon roll - skip. The scarcity marketing of it being a Saturday-only special got to me, but I wouldn't order it again. For me, it was way too sweet, both in terms of the icing (buttercream, no cream cheese) and the very generous filling, and the texture wasn't my favorite: standard dry-ish & bready. Tangzhong would be a welcome addition. Bagels - fantastic. These are very different to the bagels at Uncommon Grounds, which are more dense and chewy. If you prefer a lighter, airier bagel with a substantial crisp on the outside, you'll love these. They don't have too many varieties yet (I think just everything, cinnamon raisin, and plain), but even the plain is excellent. Love that they do an over-easy egg on the breakfast sandwiches.
