I have been treated by Dr. Stanley Steinberg for many years. I go when I have specific acute problems. Yesterday my back seized up after twisting to put my older 90lb dog in the car. Dr. Steinberg got me out of the worst pain and spasms. And I almost always call and walk in the same day when needed at the last minute which is great! I was involved in a car accident in February 2017 and my attorney sent me to Steinberg Chiropractic. I have been going for treatment for 3 months and I started off with extreme pain and spasms, but he has helped me a lot along with his wonderful staff Jessica and Aubrey who were the main faces of the front desk and the other girls they were always very friendly and helpful with great attitudes. RUN AWAY!!! THIS IS THE WORST CHIROPRACTOR EVER!!! Once you step into this office you will realize that nothing has been touched since the 1980s. Becaredul once you sit down it will hurt! The staff is unfriendly they rather be talking on the phone then attending to you. Oh and also becareful of them misplacing your file!!! Once you go inside for treatment there are four beds in the SAME ROOM!!! There is no barrier you see everything and hear anything that the person next to you has to say. The beds are at arms length of each other. Oh and the treatment isnt like the other chiropractors the use these modern technology. They use sponges! Actually sponges! The best part of it once your done with the treatment you go into another room when you see the doctor.I got into a car accident so my lower back and upper back were killling me more than anything. I told the doctors probably more times than I can count. Tell me why when i go into the other room the doctor comes in annd just cracks my neck (I dont have any problems in my neck mine you) and has me leave. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?? Great chiropractor, cracked my back and my neck really well. Great place, gave me free electroshock therapy!

Following a new patient intake consult conducted 4 days prior, I arrived for my appointment hunched over and in severe pain. Despite warning signs (dirty building, high homeless presence, overwhelming urine smell in the parking lot, a DC who is obviously suffering back pain himself judging by his posture and mobility range, D-list office digs, sharing said space with a psychologist), I hoped Stanley would be my answer. At 10 am, with no other patients waiting (perhaps they'd already gotten the memo), a receptionist began check in. When asked for my Driver's License, I stated I would happily show my license but that I did not want it copied and stored. Being a doctor myself, I knew this request was unnecessary. One receptionist balked. The other mildly agreed stating she'd just verify I was me. I offered a look at my driver's license and a copy of my insurance card. One receptionist agreed to grant a face-to-face with the doctor, the other promptly got out of her seat and went to *rat* me out. The receptionist remaining asked me to initial a couple of forms proving I'd actually been present (which I did),next she told me to fill out the remaining documents. The other receptionist returned and stated: The doctor won't see you. We don't do slip and falls. Um...seriously? What kind of Chiropractor treats the claim rather than the patient? Further still, what kind of *doctor* refuses to see a paying patient who is obviously suffering? Thinking something was terribly amiss, I asked for the doctor. As if on cue, and straight out of a bad acting scene, Stanley begins shuffling into then out of frame (back and forth behind the reception area) pretending to be reading a chart. I interrupt. "Excuse me, Dr., I was wondering if I could have a word...." Him (cutting me off and practically yelling): No. They said you are being difficult. You won't give them information. Me(appalled): That is not the case. I've offered a look at my DL, but I do not want my license copied and stored to your files. Him: I'm not seeing you. I don't do slip and falls. Me: Okaaaay, but then why did your front desk schedule an appointment following the pre-consult? I have driven a long distance to keep this appointment. Him (heated): Nope, I'm not seeing you. I can already tell this is not going to work. Me: Fine, I'd like to have the paperwork I've signed returned now so I can destroy it. Him: No. The receptionist (intervening): We have a shredder in back. I'll shred them later. ME: Unacceptable. I want my signature pages, Now. Him: No. Me: I'm not leaving until I have my signature pages. He glares at me for a moment, then yanks the papers from the receptionist, tears them in pieces and says, "There, are you happy now?" UGH! Save yourself the assault to your olfactory senses, sensibilities, and time. Stanley is trifling, does not inspire confidence in his ability as a *helping-profession* professional, and does not belong in practice. ..probably why (after being a victim of today's performance), understandably, judging by the hollow office halls I witnessed, he's just barely hanging on. read more

I have seen Dr. Steinberg for various reasons over the years....sports injuries, auto accidents, back and leg pain, and tennis elbow. He has fixed me every time. He is patient with my million questions and he is calm and caring. He is the only chiropractor I trust to adjust my neck and back. A friend recommended Dr. Steinberg's office so I walked in with no appointment and the girls in the office helped me out quickly and explained all the paperwork. Then Dr Steinberg was really friendly and helpful and even made a personal treatment plan with him. Also, they have a really sweet and friendly dog and even then the office is really clean! They asked if I was comfortable with dogs so I really appreciated that. I'm really glad I came here after my friend recommended me. Everyone at the office is very welcoming and make you feel very comfortable and have a positive attitude. I'm a current patient at this practice and I was referred by my attorney. I noticed that the office has new equipment that has been helping me recover from my auto accident. I appreciate that Dr. Steinberg daily likes to follow up with the patients and is brief, yet attentive to my needs. They have great office hours, considering many people get off work late, they are open a little later than most, so I'm always able to schedule at a time that works best for me. My auto accident has had a big effect on my daily routine but the staff and doctor have been very understanding and flexible with me. The staff is wonderful, as they greet you very nicely when you walk in. I also appreciate that they knew me by name and they don't wait for someone to ask for help, they take care of that aspect, very well. Rooms are well maintained, and I really do appreciate their promptness, it has made me feel at ease and I am pleased to say that my well being is in good hands. Unfortunately, I must agree with Vallery P's review. Even 4 years later nothing has changed. It wasn't my choice to go to this office and the equipment they had was probably some of the first that ever came out. There is no privacy at all. The waiting room chairs are all broken down and stained. The girls at the front desk can be loud chit chatting with each other. There are still just 4 tables next to each other. I had the same experience as Vallery when the doctor would see me. All he would do is crack my spine and I had NO issues with my spine. If you want to see a chiropractor go see one that has up-to-date office equipment. If you have a lawyer who recommends this office, ask if there is another doctor with whom they are affiliated. read more
