I also wasn't greeted when I arrived, wasn't offered a place to put my belongings, and after my wash I was left walking back dripping wet without much assistance. The stylist who did my hair also came across as very cold and rude throughout the appointment, even though I tried to be friendly and kind. That said, there was another woman working there who seemed genuinely warm and welcoming to other customers, so maybe I was just unlucky with who I was paired with. At the end, my hair was straightened without really asking whether that was how I wanted it styled. When I asked about curling it instead, I was told the straightening counted as the one complimentary style. They eventually offered to curl it anyway, but only after I explained I hadn't wanted it straightened in the first place. Overall, this felt more comparable to a basic chain salon experience while charging significantly more. As someone with long women's hair, I personally wouldn't return or recommend it based on my experience.

Along with providing quality haircuts and shaving, he is consistent with his communication and strives to make sure his customers know they are the priority. Stefo is easy to get a hold of and provides a very flexible schedule. His shop is clean and comfortable. Stefo's Barber Shop is not just a barber shop, it's a place where old friends reunite and new friends are made. There's always an opportunity to partake is some fun conversation or listen to some good music. While it is your typical barber shop environment, Stefo is always conscientious of who is customers are and will go out of his way to make sure that the environment is kid and family friendly when necessary. Been coming here for 10 plus years n will continue to come here. Professional family-friendly barbershop, that I recommend to my friend n family members, kids too. Appt based, unless its slow (sometimes walk ins) this is the spot and its why I make the drive from Mville. Its a full service shop, including hot towl, with appts typically taking an hr for cuts and half an hr for line ups. Most types of cuts. Overall, I come here for the atmosphere n vibe. My son loves it here. Never had any bad experiences or heard any subject matter to risqué. As a father himself, Stefos is a spot you can come with your kids and/or family and leave feeling crisp, proud to be apart of Team LookGood. I came in this afternoon as I normally do. Got in. Sat down. Chopped it up, got cut. And went on my way. 65 mins in n out, smooth like the other side of the pillow. Stefo's is the real-deal neighborhood barber shop I was looking for! If you live in the Shoreline area and you've never stopped in, chances are you're paying a hairstylist to do a barber's job; you're probably paying too much, too. These people are professional, easy-going and fun to chat with. They really make you feel comfortable and it's obvious, they love what they do. 'Quad' gave me the best cut I've had in a long time. He didn't rush at all and paid attention to detail; he gave me the cut I asked for and it only took about 35 minutes. At $30 you can't find a better value for that level of personal service. The people here take their job seriously and do everything they can to get you looking the way you want to and are extremely easy to get along with. You don't only get a haircut, depending on what they are doing, you could be watching a game, watching a movie, listening to music, or just talking to them about whatever. I've been to Supercuts and places like that, but Stefos is the only place that has ever cut my hair the way I like it. Whenever I go, I make sure I can get an appointment with Mike. Stefos Barbershop is a step above! Its tough to find a consistently great haircut in North Seattle and its been a huge relief since I started going to Stefos. I no longer have to worry about being ridiculed by co-workers for having a haircut that, and I quote, looks like "a haircut that you would give a little Norwegian boy." With Stefo's it's always current, straight, even, and how I order it. And its a huge relief to find a place that is happy to have me bring my young kids in. I'm really picky about my line up and fade and Stefo's the only barber I've found that does both just right. His straight razor line up lasts longer than any other place I've been and the haircut is quicker than anywhere else I've been. I'm in and out feelin brand new everytime. Glad to know he's moved up north cause there's no good barber shops past north Seattle. Just moved up to the Edmonds Area and needed a new barber so my roommate sent me to Stefos, and got a haircut by the Barber Cody Phillips. Did a clean job cutting my hair, took his time, made it super dope. Had a good time there and left with a new Barber in the city I live in now! Definitely a good spot if you're looking for a clean hair cut. I'd recommend to anyone to go there and let Cody or any of the Barbers cut you up! And it's a reasonable price. This is the men's version of Gene Juarez. I enjoy getting a haircut twice a week with Omar because he's always so punctual and on point with the straight razor cuts. You sit down on one of their comfortable hair-cutting chairs, describe to them what you want done to your hair blhablhbalhab, and sometimes if you can't describe well enough, they just let you use the number system they have and it's Gucci/LV/Prada/Burberry/Hermes/Fendi/Versace. Then. They git it dun. You can take a nap, you can play your phone, you can probably even eat, but they know how to get it dun. Since you have to wear a mask inside all establishments, they also will ask you to remove the string of your mask and then proceed to craft art poetic. When it's all done, I woke up from a solid power nap, looked at myself in the mirror and said, d-d-d-d-d-damn1. I tried to give the stylist dood a high five, but he looked at me like "what?". I then proceeded to give him the finger guns motion and that went as well as you thought it would (LOL, I AM GOAT). Recommended to go earlier in the day, as their afternoons get busy (I can see why). I love this place. 10/10 would come back again. No nonsense, just git the cut, and professional. They listen to what you fixin to get. One negative would be that they don't have a hair washing/shampoo afterwards, or before, so you gots to make do. But for me, that's quite minor/negligible for the price/quality you get.

It took a month and a half for me not to feel embarrassed going out in public with my hair looking like it did. The color blend I asked for was complex and so I contacted them, sent pictures, and asked before I went there if they could pull it off. They assured me that they absolutely could. After four plus hours of bleaching and coloring, I was told that it would be better if he cut it a certain way (showing that he knew it didn't look right) but I'd have to make an appointment because it took longer than planned. I had told him from the beginning to use stronger bleach but he ignored this. I told him I knew this from multiple experiences but he said it'd be fine. He suggested shaving a pattern in the back. I hadn't planned this but he encouraged that it would look good. I looked up images and gave him several options and told him to do the one that he felt most comfortable with but he assured me that any would turn out great. When I saw it later it looked like a toddler's drawing. When I texted him pictures of it later he never responded. In the end, I paid $230 for a frizzy, haphazardly colored, and poorly designed head of hair. To be fair, he only charged me $200, but I am a stickler for always tipping well no matter what. I had sent them pictures, I asked if they could do it, I did not go there with higher expectations than what was promised. Now I will never go back and I encourage you not to make the same mistake that I did.

So now I have this very strange part in my hair, were it's really short on one side and long on the other, and hangs back over my part. And a big bulge of hair in the center of my head where he never even cut it. I'll have to wait a while have to have someone else try to fix it. And very expensive for a men's " barber shop".
