Stefan's hit the spot for its clubby upscale environs and its ability to select and serve outstanding food. Tried to order ribeye but smallest cut they had would have been over 120 euros. They were out of the reindeer steak, which is what I wanted. Opted for bacon-wrapped pork chop served with mashed potatoes. Server didn't clarify that pork chop included mashed so we had a 5 or 6 euro baked potato that neither of us could eat, which would have accompanied a steak. Their baked red beets with my entree were outstanding! Daughter had a big wedge salad that looked and tasted good plus a hearty looking vegetarian steak. Very attentive with water and dessert offering. Four and a half stars due to the ribeye and reindeer misses. Atmosphere is 5 stars, as are the staff.

The waiter is very helpful. I got a very nice treatment here. atmosphere is romantic, two person order two soup and a iceberg salad as starter, one steak and one salmon as main course, and one plate mushroom and one plate carrot as sliders, no drink. Total price is Euro 102. A little pricy, but it's worth. We have a quiet and peaceful time here. Hope it's helpful for you.

One of the best (if not the best) steak houses in Helsinki. I have to say my favourite ones are in Tampere anyways, but this one comes close. I had Finnish entrecote with cognac and peppercorn sauce and my companion took Surf & Turf with smoked garlic sauce. The food was good, I had my steak as medium but it was maybe a bit overcooked, my friend's steak was ok. The sauces were very thin, I would have liked it a bit thicker (it was close to water like sauce) - even thou the taste was still good. Pouring that to the steak was a bit of pain, since it didn't stick much to it. We arrived to the place when it opened the doors and were the first customers there. We still had to wait our servings 30 minutes, so that is a bit of a minus. The side order salad I had the the entrecote was very small, if you are hungry don't take that. Since the restaurant is charging separately for beef, sauces and side orders, I would like to see them to be proper sizes. Overall, I would give rating of 4/5 or maybe 3.8/5. Slowish service, small side orders and very thin sauce drops some points. Considering the price - 90 euros for two with one small glass of wine - I can eat well in many other places cheaper. If you are looking for steaks specifically, Stefan's is the place to try.

The cheese goat burger, with tasty meat and incredients and accompanied by sweet potato fries, was fantastic. Friendly service and nice ambient. Will come back here when craving a good and juicy burger.

Luckily I found Morrison's only 3 blocks from our hotel (Hotel Kamp). The menu has something for everyone. They have a good selection of appetizers like mozzarella sticks and loaded fries. The burger list is extensive including chicken and plant-based burgers. There is also a good selection of beer and some wine. I had the weiner schnitzel which was excellent! The burgers were all great and huge. There were also salads and other options. There is a kids menu with burgers, chicken fingers, and pasta. Heads up...the kids burgers are not small! All servers spoke English and were extremely nice to us. The drinks and food came out in a good time. The location is like a small restaurant/diner style. There were about 15-20 tables and there was a large table for our party of 8. Still water was free for the table and they had Pepsi products (the only thing I would change!!). They also do take-away. We loved Morrison's so much that we ate there again on our last night in Helsinki. If you are in the mood for good "American" style food in Helsinki, Morrison's is exactly what you are looking for! We were so jetlagged that I forgot pictures of the food...sorry!!!

Went on 12/12/21…read more First night in Helsinki from the US and why not try a Hard Rock Cafe abroad. Forewarning; I caught the red eye out of NY the previous night and this ended up being my first full meal at about 7pm (Finnish time). So, I was HUNGRY...and it was cheat day. For a drink a had the Whiskey Espresso Martini. I never had whiskey and espresso together but wasn't a bad touch. Will definitely try again. I started with the loaded fries with bacon, cheese whiz and I think ranch(?) on the side. The fries were good. Crispy, not overly salty and the cheese was melted nicely. I had the the BBQ Bacon cheeseburger. Which was cooked medium (how I like it) and very juicy. The toppings were house made BBQ sauce, shoestring onion rings, cheddar cheese and bacon, haha, it was GOOD. Bacon was crispy and the sauce was flavorful. I ended with the sinful hot fudge sundae; 3 scoops of ice cream, hot fudge sauce, walnuts, whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles and a cherry on top for a healthy touch haha. This was simply amazing. Cleared the whole cup. Highly recommend at any HRC.

From the balloons at our table to the special desert and the great service, this was a visit we will always remember. The location itself was very nice looking with lots of classic memorabilia in an open and airy feel. They also had an outside "coffee shop" type of location separate from their restaurant which was unique. The local Legendary Burger had some great Scandinavian flavors and they even have a special Scandinavian menu with unique foods and deserts. Can't wait to come back to visit again. Thanks for the memories!
