Nordstrom Rack is a great place to go and find what the store Nordstrom offers but at semi…read morediscounted prices. I think it's important to note that when you go in here, you're not gonna find really cheap prices. The prices are still up there. They're just a little bit less than you will find in the actually Nordstrom store and/or Nordstrom online. For me, the main reason I like Nordstrom Rack is their selection of shoes. They have a really big selection of shoes, particularly tennis shoes. They truly have a large amount of all of the name brands. And again, at semi discounted price prices. They're not cheap, but they are below what you would have to pay at the regular Nordstrom stores or most other sporting goods retailers. In terms of clothing, they have a lot of it. They have both a large selection of men and women's clothing. It's truly a vast amount. I don't usually find clothes that catch my eye at this store, but my wife always seems to find something. So, that may let you know of the mindset of the people who shop here. For men, they have a nice selection of suits, sport coats, slacks, and dress shirts. But, they're not exceptionally good deals. Personally, I prefer to go into a shop that is more devoted to those things when I buy such items. For my wife, however, she commonly finds nice dresses, tops, and also, shoes. She too, is a big fan of their shoe department. The one thing I will say is that if you want to get a nice pair of Doc Martens, this is a great place to buy them. They seem to discount Doc Martin's more than they do their other name brand shoes. This is just something to think about. Overall, if you want some high-end clothing, and/or shoes, and/or jewelry, and/or a little bit of anything else that Norstrom offers, this is a good place to purchase it.

There was a great selection of clothes at different price points which was really nice to see considering we are sort of in between seasons. Checking out was just as easy. The checkout person was exceptionally friendly and even made me laugh and feel more excited about my purchases.

One of the benefit of having a brick and mortar version of a favored online store is that you can…read morereturn the items you don't want right away instead of sending it back, or exchange it for the item you want. Today I was "helped" by Brett. I was trying to return a hoodie that didn't fit. Everything was pretty procedural at first. Then the hiccup came where the was an issue with the return because he had thought we heavily used the hoodie, which we didn't. The only thing we did was put it on inside the house and set it down on the carpet afterwards. He was lecturing me on the fact that he cannot accept the return due to this cosmetic flaw. I informed him this, to which he replied that he can't resell something that's been worn in the store. I told him that we had been long patrons of the band and how we owned dozens of Oakley sunglasses and never had an issue with returning a product that we tried on and did not like. He finally gave in by saying that I had interrupted him as he was not able to compete his lecture that he be making an exception in this case. At the end I feel that he was over compensating for his lack of knowledge and general awareness of customer service by saving face and acting as if he was planning to let me return the merchandise after all. Next time, I'll stick to shipping my returns back instead of being hassled by a self-righteous, myopic store clerk.

Gap Inc's strikeback at Lululemon works…read more The best comparison to Athleta is Lululemon, except that Athleta is just more accommodating. The most radical difference is Athleta's super generous return policy. I would say that Athleta is also a little more casual wear oriented than Lululemon. Like Lululemon, they offer free pant alterations, weekend free exercise classes, and always a lot of new styles of tops and leggings. The store's inventory is much smaller than online, but if you use the computer inside the store, you can order whatever you like with free ship. The back of the store does offer a couch for tired shoppers, as well as a lot of free class cards at local gyms. Athleta is superior to Lululemon for me. Sometimes you just gotta return stuff.

I love Athleta clothing but the service at the West Towne store is terrible…read more I've stopped going there and just order online. At any time there will be 4-5 people working in the store--and not doing anything--and they will just ignore customers. It's difficult to get help with anything and if you do have a question or need help, the staff makes you feel like you're inconveniencing them. It's disappointing because Athleta clothing is great - especially for active, athletic women.

The clothing section is well organized, however the home section, is absolutely out of control. I felt like I was in wonderland and didn't drink the correct potion. Clocks hanging from the rafters, everything just thrown around, no reason for anything to be anywhere. The adorable older woman at dressing was sweet and the floor staff seemed happy. Until I got to checkout. The cashier didn't say hello even when I said hello.. Didnt tell me my total.. Didnt say thank you or goodbye even when I said it to her. Essentially I checked myself out. She was too busy talking to her co worker who was also ignoring her customer. Sucks to give a lower star rating but these two ruined it for everyone else.

I've been told I look good in red and thanks to Insignia, my closet is always updated with UW sweatshirts and tees a plenty. This shop offers a nicely cultivated selection of women's, men's and kid's Badger gear, including a new section of Packers items as well. In addition to tees, sweats, overalls, sweatshirts, fleeces, onesies, you'll find a variety of accessories like hats, gloves, license plate frames, rally items and gifts. I'm usually quite taken with the 47 brand that ends up ringing up on the pricey side, but the fit, fashion and quality stands up over time. I have no doubt that I'll continue to overspend at Insignia for years to come. U rah rah!
