You cannot find a more honest, devoted, experienced Law Office than theirs. They are very fair both to Tenants and to Landlords. I made the mistake of renting to some people who were so nice and friendly but had no credit. They showed me pay stubs showing that they made a lot of money each week. Since they came through a Real Estate Agent and were so sweet, and paying a Real Estate Broker's fee, I thought they would be O.K. BIG MISTAKE!!!! They were PROFESSIONAL TENANTS!!! They knew how to play the system. You know our NYC mayor recently hired about 80 attorneys to prevent tenants from being evicted. It was a horror.......every time we got the Marshal, they would come up with a new Order to Show Cause. They even ran up over $6,000. in water bills with a pool in the back yard they installed without my permission. Anyway, thank God Pappas was able to finally evict them!!! My advise to you is to be very, very careful who you accept as a tenant and never, never take people with poor credit. There is a reason their credit is no good!!!! And take it from me, you will never find a better L & T Law Office than Pappas and Pappas!!! They are fair, honest, reasonable and THEY GET THE JOB DONE!!!

However, within days, P&P completely ignored that court negotiation and issued a NEW eviction notice with a completely different date and different Index Number! No explanation whatsoever. They did not communicate with the landlord (their client) what took place in court and now the landlord does not believe/is unaware of the negotiated date and claims the only court date is the one created solely by P&P. Let me say that again: Pappas & Pappas ignored the negotiated date made with the court, failed to communicate to their client, and issued a second court date to me, the tenant, with no explanation. This move is clearly an attempt to undermine the legal system and cause confusion, frustration, and burden to the tenant. Please be aware of this ethically compromised business.
