In 2024, I purchased a vehicle for my wife. Brand new 2024 Altima with extended warranty and all in cash deal. Less than two years after the purchase and less than 10K km per year on the vehicle it started to make a popping noise each time we put it in gear. We took it in for its regular routine service and told the advisor of the noise. To our disappointment, we were advised that the routine service was performed but we needed an appointment to further explore said noise. Having no option but to comply, we scheduled an appointment to address the "noise ". The car was taken in on a Friday night for a Saturday morning appointment. We received a call on Saturday afternoon to pick up the car at which time we were informed that they had performed an (unauthorized) brake job and that they felt that was the issue. (It wasn't). They said that the service technician had done a road test and heard nothing. To both my wife's and my amazement, we simply asked who did the road test. The technician was summoned to take a quick ride with us and before we could move from the parking space we heard the noise. The technician looked at us both and said .... "OH". As if to suggest oh $hit. We went back in the service room and were informed that since it was Saturday, we would have to schedule yet another appointment. All that said, a new appointment was scheduled, but we were given assurance. There was nothing to worry about and that my wife could continue to drive this vehicle. The person in Service said oh it probably just needs a little grease on the axles no problem. Fast forward to the appointment date. My wife was about 30 minutes late because she was not feeling well on the day of the appointment. When she called to ask if she could bring the car in anyway, she was told that she would have to schedule yet another appointment. This appointment would put us at about 35 days of trying to work this issue out with the dealership. Therefore, the next week I reached out to the service manager, who was far from empathetic, concern, or for that matter, professional. When I mentioned to him what my concerns were, he basically blew it off in one of the most condescending manners that I've ever been spoken to. Initially, he would not return any calls that I made to him until I left a message saying that if I did not hear from him, I would come to the dealership to speak to him in person. That got a quick call from him with him basically saying that there was not much more he could do. Either therefore escalate the matter to the general manager to try to get an appointment sooner than the one that they had pushed out to the end of July. After a lot of finagling, the general manager was able to get us in approximately a week sooner than we were actually scheduled. It was then that we learned that the front axle of a practically new vehicle was in need of repair. This we learned after being told that the vehicle was safe to drive while my wife and I took a trip to the Annapolis Valley in a car with a blown axle. In my opinion, this dealership has a service department filled with incompetence and personnel, lacking empathy, respect, and a sense of responsiveness to their customers. While I would never recommend people to not support local businesses, this is one that I can personally advise people to stay away from. This may be an isolated situation or it may be a symptom indicative of a much bigger problem that has not been expressed by other consumers. I believe strongly that when people spend hard earned money, they should be treated with respect and most of all, when it comes to the health and safety of consumers, especially when dealing with automobiles, it is not something that should be blown off and treated as if it's not a big deal. Lastly, just to be certain that we never experienced another mishap with this dealer relative to the automobile we purchased, my wife and I decided to part ways with this vehicle. The rating system only allows one star, however, if I were able to give them zero stars I would have.

The first week they told me the car need a body control module and was going to be $1200 for parts and labour. After "fixing" (Programing the new BCM and plugging it in), they noted other electrical errors within and needed more time for diagnostic, three weeks later they called to inform me that they actually did not even start working on my vehicle and it was inoperable (They didn't even program the new BCM and sent me an invoice for labour I'm not even sure it was the proper amount of time that was put into the car). By this time I wanted to speak to a service advisor manager (Michale) , his customer service was terrible as I told him I was frustrated with the lack of communication and priority service I was experiencing. He lacked concern for what was happening under his watch, but he did lower the cost of labour and promised to put my vehicle on top priority. Through out these 20 days I never received one call from Steele letting me know what the progress of my car is until the morning of I was supposed to pick it up the once again told me that they had not actually got around to putting in the time to diagnose my car and that it was STILL INOPERABLE. I went back in and spoke to a different manager who now says my OnStar Module is acting up and causing my car a no start condition and tried to charge me for a new module, I refused that option and asked for them to look for a different cause to my electrical issues. This manager (Josh) offered me free undercarriage rust protection and was set to be applied an hour before pick up. When I arrived and they pulled my car in the severely damaged both sides of my rocker panels lifting the car. My service advisor was only a couple months into his training and it looked like every time I went in he was the only person doing any work everyone else was scrolling on their phones. The communication between my service advisor and the mechanic was basically nonexistent and no one was taking my case seriously. I'd like to reiterate I paid almost $1000 and took my car home in worse condition then what it was when it went in. Please I beg you save your money and find another competent dealer or mechanic.

After a few weeks and narrowly missing a couple of really great deals this beauty got traded in. Vic (sales) and Dan (finance) made it sooooo easy, gave me everything I asked for in the deal and nothing I didn't, vehicle was inspected top to bottom, diamond cote undercoated (I saw it before it was undercoated and it was immaculate). Just when I thought I'd negotiated the best deal I could ever get for my old Acura and the Wrangler (just below market value) they throw in a free gift to make it even sweeter! Very very happy with the entire process from start to finish, thanks Vic!

It was brought in for a recall and I had also asked them to check some other things out. It took a month to fix the recall and another month and a half to fix the alternator. There was ZERO communication. They had claimed that there were staffing changes which was part of the confusion. I NEVER heard from them. It was always a voicemail with no return call. When I did get a hold of them they could never find our vehicle in their system, and they always asked ME to reach back out to them for an update. When it was finally fixed I sent my crew to go pick it up and they denied them from picking up the vehicle stating they did not have approval. The approval was sent to them over 20 days ago. I work with many other dealerships and garages and have great relationships and communication with them all. This experience was very disappointing to say the least. I do not recommend this dealership.

We explained that we currently had a joint loan and that one of us was working and had a drivers license but not so great credit and the other had no license, was on sick leave from work but had decent credit and they said it wouldnt be a problem. We went in to see what they had and they told us we were approved but only for one car and then pushed that on us even though we told Mat multiple times that we did not want a Ford. We agreed to it but then came back the next day after thinking about it to back out. That was when we got involved with Barrett who put us in a Corolla, told us we were approved, had us sign all the paperwork and then insisted that we drive it home that day with a dealer plate and come back on Monday for safety and temporary plate. We went back Monday but couldn't get the inspection done, he gave us a copy of the paperwork and then sent us home with an appointment to come back Thursday for the inspection and temp plate. After getting home and sending off paperwork to insure the car, we noticed that the information on the paperwork was false, they lied to the bank and said that my spouse was working at the hospital, had a made up drivers license number, did not include our down payment on the paperwork and the kms on the car were off by over 10000. I went back the next day and asked them to fix the errors and he did but not before telling me that the bank doesnt actually care where you work or what your master number is. Skip to Thursday, I show up for my appointment and after waiting an hour they offer to drive me back to work while I wait and deliver the car when it's ready. Great, finally some decent service.... Wrong. They then decided to bring me back my car, which the insurance had been removed from. They called to say they were bringing it and I told them to put it back in the dealership parking lot because it wasnt insured and they couldnt drive it. At that point I called the finance manager and asked if we were actually approved for the loan and he said not yet. I gave him an hour to get us approved and he called back 20 minutes later saying we were denied. I told them to come get me so we could figure it out and he said that my car was at my work, I looked out the window and there she was, parked there, unlocked with the keys in it - Still not insured. When I mentioned this to them they said "oh I guess we didnt think about that did we". We also checked several times with the current loan company and were told that they hadnt even been contacted about the car, and when I questioned Lloyd about this he told me that they wont give him that information and we have to get it. Funny because they have a direct line to the bank to get that info. Head back to the "Dealership" to get my stuff out of the car that I had been driving as mine for a week and get a refund on the down payment and they had to e-transfer it to me because apparently their debit machine wouldn't allow a $550 transaction. Then yesterday I notice that they pulled the Bryden sticker off the car and put their own on, so I bring the car in today and tell them to remove it, which they did, then proceeded to treat me like a crazy person who was upset for no reason. Still, I said what I had to say, that they had no business putting their sticker on my car without my permission and was getting ready to leave when the owner says from behind his door (I asked for him or the other finance manager but didn't get either of them) "Would you rather have a license plate cover? It's easier on the paint" Proving that they have no idea that they even did anything wrong. And Brenan, Lloyd, Barett, Mat and the other asshat I dealt with today if you're reading this.... I'm also in the process of registering complaints with the BBB(Not that you care because you're not accredited), the bank and Access Nova Scotia, and in your own words, " you have a GREAT day!"
