Twelve years of being a loyal, happy customer and this time, was lured in with a promising email…read morethat did not deliver. "Trade in the keys with no gimmicks", was full of gimmicks. Put up my payments, told me to put windshield through insurance and told me I was getting a "smoking deal". I have emailed sales manager 2x and called with no response. I have now gone elsewhere. In the past, have sent customers to this location since I was so impressed. I was happy, til this unnecessary experience made me unhappy and feeling used.

Absolutely terrible experience. Came in with a trade in to…read moreget a car they had on the lot. Was told that their are 'being selective on who they give the cars in the lot to'. After an assessment on my vehicle, they said they would give me $1600. They said they weren't interested in my car but wanted me to put a deposit down on a car that they had in the lot, but to wait for that same one to come in at a later date. The sales associate didn't know the interest rates. Wouldn't answer questions when we asked why the interest rate was so high for the 22 whereas the interest rate for the 2023 make was way lower. Recommended us to drive my car and take the business elsewhere. Gerard said he was turning away his own family. Luckily, Colonial Honda helped us out. Byron at Colonial Honda was amazing. Gave us $5700 for the trade in. Walked in right off the bat and was given a business card and military discount. We are so grateful for Byron at Colonial Honda and will recommend him and them to everyone. Do not waste your time for the unprofessionalism at Portland Honda.

I usually do my brakes/oil change myself, but felt lazy that morning and decided to bring it in.. Brought my vehicle for oil change and brake service, very basic. 2 hours later, received a call stating that they stripped one of my Lock Nut and it would take some effort to remove with Dremel. They denied using an Impact Gun/Wrench to remove any studs. After 3 hours of messing around and $187, my car was ready. 2 months later, checking my brakes (before winter checks) to realize that one of my Studs was stripped out. Good thing I didn't get a flat tire, I would have been stuck on the side of the road, God knows where. Plus, when I serviced my brakes, I inspected what was actually done on my brakes during my last service, it appeared to me as if a little bit of anti-seize was applied to the exterior of the brake pad sliders, and nothing else... Please tell me again, you don't use Impact Guns to remove or replace studs on tires, Not impressed, total bill $600+ :/

After a few weeks and narrowly missing a couple of really great deals this beauty got traded in. Vic (sales) and Dan (finance) made it sooooo easy, gave me everything I asked for in the deal and nothing I didn't, vehicle was inspected top to bottom, diamond cote undercoated (I saw it before it was undercoated and it was immaculate). Just when I thought I'd negotiated the best deal I could ever get for my old Acura and the Wrangler (just below market value) they throw in a free gift to make it even sweeter! Very very happy with the entire process from start to finish, thanks Vic!

We explained that we currently had a joint loan and that one of us was working and had a drivers license but not so great credit and the other had no license, was on sick leave from work but had decent credit and they said it wouldnt be a problem. We went in to see what they had and they told us we were approved but only for one car and then pushed that on us even though we told Mat multiple times that we did not want a Ford. We agreed to it but then came back the next day after thinking about it to back out. That was when we got involved with Barrett who put us in a Corolla, told us we were approved, had us sign all the paperwork and then insisted that we drive it home that day with a dealer plate and come back on Monday for safety and temporary plate. We went back Monday but couldn't get the inspection done, he gave us a copy of the paperwork and then sent us home with an appointment to come back Thursday for the inspection and temp plate. After getting home and sending off paperwork to insure the car, we noticed that the information on the paperwork was false, they lied to the bank and said that my spouse was working at the hospital, had a made up drivers license number, did not include our down payment on the paperwork and the kms on the car were off by over 10000. I went back the next day and asked them to fix the errors and he did but not before telling me that the bank doesnt actually care where you work or what your master number is. Skip to Thursday, I show up for my appointment and after waiting an hour they offer to drive me back to work while I wait and deliver the car when it's ready. Great, finally some decent service.... Wrong. They then decided to bring me back my car, which the insurance had been removed from. They called to say they were bringing it and I told them to put it back in the dealership parking lot because it wasnt insured and they couldnt drive it. At that point I called the finance manager and asked if we were actually approved for the loan and he said not yet. I gave him an hour to get us approved and he called back 20 minutes later saying we were denied. I told them to come get me so we could figure it out and he said that my car was at my work, I looked out the window and there she was, parked there, unlocked with the keys in it - Still not insured. When I mentioned this to them they said "oh I guess we didnt think about that did we". We also checked several times with the current loan company and were told that they hadnt even been contacted about the car, and when I questioned Lloyd about this he told me that they wont give him that information and we have to get it. Funny because they have a direct line to the bank to get that info. Head back to the "Dealership" to get my stuff out of the car that I had been driving as mine for a week and get a refund on the down payment and they had to e-transfer it to me because apparently their debit machine wouldn't allow a $550 transaction. Then yesterday I notice that they pulled the Bryden sticker off the car and put their own on, so I bring the car in today and tell them to remove it, which they did, then proceeded to treat me like a crazy person who was upset for no reason. Still, I said what I had to say, that they had no business putting their sticker on my car without my permission and was getting ready to leave when the owner says from behind his door (I asked for him or the other finance manager but didn't get either of them) "Would you rather have a license plate cover? It's easier on the paint" Proving that they have no idea that they even did anything wrong. And Brenan, Lloyd, Barett, Mat and the other asshat I dealt with today if you're reading this.... I'm also in the process of registering complaints with the BBB(Not that you care because you're not accredited), the bank and Access Nova Scotia, and in your own words, " you have a GREAT day!"
