Last minute reservation, good vibes, attentive host, gave us a free drink that went well with the cigars we purchased. Jazz took care of us. I didn't think I would be staying close to midnight. But we had good conversations. Good music. Good cigars. Good rum. Will come back! With ribs! Thank you Jazz! read more

Private Membership Cigar Lounge - Definitely reserve ahead. The place is cozy, comfortable, and has an inviting, relaxed energy. The host was extremely professional, welcoming, and clearly knows his craft-his knowledge and genuine hospitality elevated the whole experience. The crowd was easygoing and respectful, which says a lot about the kind of people this lounge attracts. Every question about cigars was answered thoroughly, and we ended up enjoying a great time together as a group, even sharing a cigar session. It's worth noting that this is strictly a cigar lounge-no food service-but the focus on quality cigars and atmosphere more than makes up for it. I'll keep the finer details discreet, but if you appreciate quality, good company, and a refined environment, it's worth the visit. Just make sure to reserve in advance. read more

This is, without exaggeration, the worst cigar organization I have ever encountered. The reservation system is complete shit and dysfunction. Time slots appear available online, yet there is no confirmation, no follow-up, and apparently no accountability. If a time slot is not actually available, one wonders why it is displayed at all instead of being labeled accordingly. I made a reservation for 5:00 PM and called ahead to confirm multiple times. No one answered. When I finally reached someone, the individual handling the phone lacked either the authority or the honesty to say the lounge was unavailable. Instead, I was told via a vague telephonic relay to "schedule online," despite the fact that I had already done exactly that. This is not miscommunication; it is institutional disorganization paired with poor customer service. Consumers should not have to fight, chase, or decode signals just to spend money at an establishment. The experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and entirely avoidable. I would give this place a negative star if possible, but since that option does not exist, it receives a reluctant one star. Save your time, your effort, and your patience. Go somewhere that values customers places like Hatuey's or Sky River, where basic competence and communication still seem to matter. read more

Don't waste your time we scheduled a 7pm reservation for 13 people came from out of town to meet here and the place didn't open or have any employees at all.there is a ring camera we tried to use and they didn't even answer.what a sad business just go else where that place is a joke.hope they are out of business soon so a real venue can use that place. read more

I went to this establishment with my friends shortly after 5:30 pm on a Friday evening. They open for 5.....at least according to their listing. Rung the doorbell three times and called the number. No response, no I e came to the door, nothing. My friends have been here before and they know how much of a cigar connoisseur I am so they were excited to bring me this time. Rather pretentious and inconsiderate for an establishment to treat potential customers this way. Fat chance I ever choose this place over Casillas. read more

Steampunk is a gem! The outside is unassuming, and located downtown, close to many of Sacramento's hot spots (DOCO etc.) The ambiance inside is comfortable and classy: leather arm chairs, fire place, modern art. The owner (and your host), Jazzi, is a class act! He ensures you will feel comfortable and welcomed. I would recommend making a reservation: Once you request your reservation, you will receive a confirmation once it is accepted. Membership is pretty exclusive, and the events (which I have been unable to attend thus far) are intimate, and well-curated. ** You do NOT need to be a member to make a reservation. Parking: I took a Lyft, only because I live downtown, and prefer it. However, there is plenty of paid parking and street parking: Steampunk is adjacent to the I St. Courthouse. A+ experience. I recommend for any cigar enthusiast, or for anyone looking to become one. read more

Highly recommend this place for your next casual gathering with colleagues or even a night to get away on your own! The atmosphere was like a scene from a movie. It was my first time smoking cigars and one of the staff members helped with the selections as there was many to choose from. I will definitely be coming back to this establishment any chance I get! read more

First time visitor to a cigar lounge and was absolutely impressed! Very clean establishment and the staff were insightful with their recommendations. I felt like I was in a movie the way my coworkers and I looked lounged, cigar in hand and a drink in the other. We didn't have to shout to hear each other nor could we hear other group's conversations. Overall, a memorable experience and will recommend everyone here. We will return for more great vibes. read more

Don't go there!! I came from out of town and was trying to visit and get a good cigar in downtown Sacramento. I went there one night, but there was an event, so I couldn't go. First time in a cigar lounge and had a great time here with some coworkers. The owner was very military friendly and the lounge had a great selection of cigars to choose from. It is a reservation based lounge but it's worth it because the vibe, the cleanliness and noise level was perfect. Great place to relax after a long day of work! 100% recommended! read more

I have been visiting this lounge as a member for some time now. This one of the nicest lounges I have ever been to. I generally like to visit cigar lounges when I travel and not many can compare to this one. Jazzi is very welcoming and creates a great environment that many enjoy with the lighting and music. He carries different kinds of cigars for people to try and explore. This could be a nice space for gatherings and I highly recommend it to visitors. read more

I made a reservation over 4 weeks in advance for my husband's birthday. I attempted to contact the establishment via phone and email multiple times as I never received a confirmation of my reservation. We were driving from 2 1/2 hours away. Finally today, the night before my reservation, I get a response that my reservation was declined. We are extremely disappointed. Just a suggestion, if your members get priority, don't offer reservations to non-members. You're just leaving people with broken plans for celebrations scrambling to try and figure something else out. read more

Great place and Great owner! Obviously the 1 stars are people that never made it through the door... read more

I'm giving a five star review because everyone who is giving 1 stars is doing so due to them not being able to follow directions or read clear stipulations. Some cigar clubs/lounges have limited seating and require you to call ahead. If you come here on a whim that's not their problem they have people who paid to be there. I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time and if they can't accommodate try again and go somewhere else in the meantime. Giving a one star review is not only unfair but unethical when you haven't even experienced the establishment. Bottom line is follow directions and make plans ahead of time. read more

We were in town for a couple of nights and Steampunk Cigar Lounge was a couple blocks from where we were staying. We walked about 10 minutes in the rain and when we got there immediately realized this wasn't open for walk ins. We told Sayad that we were from out of town and just wanted to smoke a cigar. Surprisingly he let us in and explained it was a members only lounge but welcomed is to hang. We were chilling enjoying our cigars and a beer when someone asked if we would like a whiskey. That someone turned out to be Jazz. He treated us like family and was so generous! I've never been treated like this at any establishment regardless of what they were selling. Jazz, I can't thank you enough for your kindness and generosity! When I get back here I will be reaching out. read more

I am a bit embarrassed that even after multiple times of visiting Jazzi and his shop, I haven't left a review. That changes now. I can without a doubt attest to how truly awesome it is to visit and have a cigar here. A gem of a place and a gem of a gentleman. Jazzi provides a space amidst the hectic chaos of life for one to slow down, relax, and enjoy. He has always treated me with respect and kindness. He offers helpful recommendations to smoke but without the pompousness that tobacconist sometimes have. The location is right next to the Amtrak Station and, in addition to a quaint and warm interior, his outdoor patio is quiet and serene. His bathroom is also a treat as well, and offers a variety of toiletries you can only expect from the fanciest of hotels (even beats a lot of them) just incase you have to leave the place without smelling like cigar smoke. I just can't say enough. If you're visiting Sac and love cigars, you'll find no better. read more
