Looking for a professional and entertaining addition to your next event? Look no further! From the perspective of a special event coordinator, these guys are awesome and super easy to work with. Pierre is very professional, but also incredibly talented. The cigars were delicious and really beautiful. Our guests were so excited!! Having a "live" cigar roller at your wedding or other event is not a pricey as you'd think... in fact we spent less money than we did last year for the same event, just to get average cigars from BevMo. So worth it! Plus...it's just freaking cool. read more

Another great cigar lounge in Sacramento. Small humidor, a good cigar selection, and plenty of room to spread out and smoke, even outside on the front porch. The staff is extremely nice and polite. I just wish they were closer and had longer hours, because they're worth the drive. read more

I'm visiting , found this place on Yelp. I had to drive 40 minutes. I walked in and was greeted by Pierre. Very friendly and made me feel at home right away. Showed me his inventory. I picked out the one that sounded like I would like. I sat down and burn this stick here in the lounge. Got to chat with Pierre while burning my cigar. I'm planning on buying some and taking back home. Very nice place and so friendly. A must visit cigar shop. Worth the 40 minute drive. read more

First visit. Staff and customers all very friendly. The gentlemen working gave me a good introduction and assisted me with my selections. I've enjoyed cigars for 20+ years now, and mostly purchased from large wholesalers smoking Baccarat, Davidoff, H.Upmann, R&J. So far I have found these Casillas to be excellent, solid smokes with good flavor, good draw, and medium body. my first is the Cognac and really enjoyable. I will certainly be back and hope to have time to stay and enjoy the company. read more

Stellar experience with Casillas Cigars for my husband's 40th birthday celebration. From the excellent customer service during booking, to Pierre and Eddie interacting with guests during our party, we couldn't ask for a better service. While we are not avid cigar smokers, trying out different cigars, and learning about the process from Pierre and Eddie was awesome. The onsite rolling added an exciting element to our Havana Nights themed party. I highly recommend their team for anyone looking to add a little sophistication and luxury to their event. read more

Great atmosphere to smoke on leather couches, and have interesting conversations. Cigars are made by their own farms, reasonably priced.

Great chill spot to sit and have a terrific hand wrapped cigar! Friendly regulars and very nice shop with a wide selection of cigars.

Just walked in the other day to get a lighter and I was treated to such a friendly and welcoming disposition by the owner and those in the walk-in cigar lounge. The owner was so helpful, I couldn't help but purchase a couple cigars along with the lighter he recommended. I smoked the box-pressed robusto and I was impressed. Very mild and easy to smoke. Next time I get there I will try the cognac dipped cigars. Great place, great location, great attitude. I will be seen here often. read more

Pierre and the Casillas Cigars team are incredible! I recently hired them for my corporate event and I am so glad that I did. Pierre was very professional and a delight to work with, from the planning process to the event itself. Their cigars were exceptional and my event guests were ranting and raving even after the event ended. Their pricing is very fair and service unbeatable. Pierre even stayed an extra hour for our event because our attendees were enjoying themselves so much. Talk about a great service! I would absolutely hire them again and highly recommend them to others. read more

You won't find Padrons, Oliva's, Gurhka's etc etc here. They've only got house rolls for sale, most of which are Excellent. Very limited on seating, but its a very friendly atmosphere. I spent most my time in here chatting with the older gentleman, I'm forgetting his name but I believe he's the owners Father. Anyway, nice place with TV, music and a chess board. read more

Looking for the best affordable Cigars to Smoke...look no further. I typically buy cigars with a Cigar Aficionado rating of 90 or higher. When I came across Casillas Cigars I was hesitant at first. Not knowing what to expect as my pallet was accustom to the taste, flavor, and aroma of name brand cigars. I was hesitant at first but my apprehension quickly turned to elation. Casillas Cigars are simply outstanding. Give them a try - you won't be sorry. Casillas Cigar is Cuban owned local Cigar Shop with walk in humidor and a cigar lounge area. I'm new to cigars and when I walked in I didn't feel out of place. The gentleman was friendly, welcoming, and educational. These were the first cigars I smoked and afterwards I tried others from manufacturer's. None of them compared to these cigars. Handrolled, burn well, and taste amazing. This place definitely spoiled me in tasting really good flavors. read more

Great place! The owner's nephew was working and helped a lot!! Will be bringing my friends!! Salud

It's Father's Day, so after entertaining my father for lunch I thought my husband should enjoy a little indulgence. We stopped by Casillas Cigars (directly behind Dutch Brothers) at Madison and San Juan. My husband has smoked a cigar here and there but we're definitely not experts. The owner was really welcoming and friendly, opened the humidor and let us browse. Apparently they roll all of their own cigars. Most cigars were $8 - $15. My husband selected two (the Governator - a nod to Arnie - and El Capitan.) I took home a thin cigarillo. You can smoke there too if you prefer, very laid back. Definitely recommend! read more

My dad and I love smoking cigars from time to time. I found this establishment on Yelp, so we tried it. We were welcomed in and given a tour of the humidor and given recommendations based on what we usually smoke in the big name labels. We each picked the same cigar and were invited to relax and smoke, so we did. We had a great time sitting comfortably, enjoying very nice cigars (very nicely rolled especially) and conversing with Pedro. Not long after we sat down we were made to feel comfortable and like old friends. Time flew by and we had to leave, so we went and got a couple more of the ones we just smoked. When we went to pay, we were only charged for the second two, as the first cigars were part of their welcome for first-timers to sit experience their cigars in the store. Completely unnecessary but a wonderfully generous gesture. We had a lot of fun hanging out with some interesting folks and really enjoyed our cigars. We look forward to going again sometime soon! read more

Casillas Cigars - The humidor with a wonderful selection! - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Citrus Heights, California

I met the owner Pierre many years ago and recently reconnected with him. If you are looking for an amazing cigar experience, you must connect with Pierre at Casillas. He is knowledgeable, passionate about his craft, and a great representative for fine tobacco purveyors and users. Tonight, I enjoyed a hand rolled cigar from Pierre (somewhere between a maduro and a corojo and about a Churchill size) and it was a thing of beauty. You know how a lot of maduros have that need to puff harder due to not drawing too easily? You just sort of deal with it, especially if the cigar burns well and evenly and has a nice body and aroma. Tonight's cigar from Pierre to me back. I remembered one of my first Cuban cigars, in fact, I actually remembered a cigar Pierre rolled the night I met him many years ago at a family friend's wedding. The draw was so smooth I had to remember to pace myself. It breathed like one of my stubby 60 gauge mellow Connecticut cigars that I have been favoring lately. In short, I was in heaven. Go to Casillas. See Pierre. He's the best! read more

Very good quality cigars, but great friendly customers and staff! They'll ask you to sit and play chess with a cigar on them. Their cigars are very smooth. Even an inexperienced palate can appreciate them. The owner is Cuban and his walls are littered in photos of US militaria. I presume he is right-leaning, especially from having 60 years of life experience. I refrain from political discussions in his base - I have bad things to say about both parties and am libertarian-minded. He is as the other reviewer says. His joking is only mildly hostile and very easy to get past. Also, he likes the blues. There's almost always someone willing to enter the humidor with you to discuss the cigars. They stand behind their products as well. The neighborhood is not favorable, but step inside and you'll feel at home. read more

A few weeks ago I was new to the Sacramento area and looking for a good cigar shop. I asked my buddy about it and he mentioned Casillas. He told me that I would not be disappointed, and he was absolutely correct. This is an amazing place to learn about cigars, have a good time, and enjoy good conversation. The atmosphere is top noch and the owners take care of their customers and you can always tell they truly appreciate your business. It is doubtful that I will smoke any other cigar brand for the rest of my life. I will simply order them online and you should do the same. Yes you will get beat at chess, so don't play unless you can play well. read more

Enjoyed my first Casillas Cigar this weekend at a fundraising event. Rolled before my eyes, it was a great tasting stick ... about medium strength and Toro in size/profile. Many of the boys there certainly admired me and my Toro. ;-) To add further testament, they sold out about 1.5 hours before the fundraising event ended. I will certainly visit the store next time I'm in town. read more

Came here for the first time today. When I first walked in I was greeted by the shop owner, very nice guy. He walked me over to their humidor and gave me a quick run down of all their cigars. Note: they are all house cigars. Invited me to stick around and smoke one there but unfortunately I was busy so I couldn't. Upon checkout he hooked me up with a free cigar!! Will definitely be back!!! read more

We got married on June 8th, 2019 at Grand Island Mansion and had Casillas Cigars as an amazing vendor to roll cigars for our guests on our big day. Pierre was an absolute pleasure to work with! The booking process was incredibly easy, the pricing is beyond reasonable for everything he does and all of our guests LOVED the extra touch we had and also for how interactive and fun it was. When the day came, I had no worries and he just appeared ready to go and showed the utmost professionalism while engaging our guests with enthusiasm, knowledge and overall fun. Our guests enjoyed the cigars at the wedding and some kept some as souvenirs. My husband and I are extremely impressed with how easy the whole process was, how much fun our guests had and the expertise he exhibited. I will be highly recommending Pierre to friends and family for events and will be using him again in the future for celebrations! read more

I went in to see if these reviews were accurate, and I was amazed to see they absolutely are. I came by to spend a couple minutes browsing their cigar selection, and I ended up spending over an hour sitting and talking with the staff and down to earth patrons. No sooner did I walk through the door when I was offered a cigar on the house and some fine Cuban coffee. The time flew by with the great company, and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. I'm anxiously awaiting smoking the cigars I purchased today to give me a reason to go back! read more

Great family owned traditional cigar lounge. They roll a particularly great maduro smaller cigar (panetella maybe)

This lounge is more than just your average cigar shop. My first encounter with this place I was on a business trip and just stopped in to grab a cigar. Pierre welcomed me in and his father was there and insisted I smoked with him and have coffee. I tried to decline cause I was just trying to go in and out but the Cuban coffee and light short stick recommended made it hard to leave. I ended up smoking and drinking coffee while conversing with them. Mean while he is panning for Gold right there in front of me (different conversation). I left them with some product I sell (supplements) for being so generous to me. I returned almost 2 years later and Pierre remembered me and the product I had gifted him. I was immediately welcomed with more amazing Cuban coffee and conversation like I was a regular. The atmosphere here is beyond welcoming and the cigars they roll are top shelf. I left again with the feeling I was part of the lounge and will be faithfully ordering from them going forward. If you are looking for spectacular smokes, great people, conversation, and owners that know how to make you feel immediately welcomed and at ease this is your place. Thank you so much Pierre for your hospitality and smokes that blew me away! Can't wait to come back into town and have a cigar with you. read more

Friendly service and excellent cigars. My favorite is the cognac dipped torpedo; smooth and the best aspect is how fresh their cigars are.
