The showed up when they said they would, had to move lots of stuff in the unfinished storage area, haul out carpet in that area, move a family room full of furniture, sucking up the water, tearing out the carpet pad, extracting the carpet, setting up 12 fans and 2 de-humidifiers. They have been great to work with. Given's will also handle the carpet replacement and install. We are still dealing with the Insurance Co regarding the replacement settlement & they have not been the greatest to work with, but I would highly recommend Given's

The crew that came to my house was a group of wonderful people but the people in charge were awful. Example: after work on Friday, a week after the fire, my husband and I went to the house to check on that day's progress as always. We saw many personal items thrown into the dumpster, a practice we were promised repeatedly would not happen. Most of the stuff was junk and we were ok with getting rid of it anyway but in some black, opaque garbage bags were our wedding decorations and homemade Christmas decorations. These Christmas decorations were up to 30 years only and had our children's pictures on them. Clearly they were not things that were "cheaper to buy new than to bother cleaning" as you obviously cannot buy things like that new. When I called the man who initially said "if you have any problems give me a call" he answered and was very irritated that I would call at dinner time on a Friday night because he was "out with his wife". He assured me that we could handle the situation on Monday morning. When I explained that the dump truck was coming the next morning to replace the full dumpster with an empty one he said "well then what do you want me to do?" My husband and I ended up dumpster diving all night for our "date" to salvage what we could. In addition to that nightmare and many, many others we didn't even get everything back. We couldn't unpack all of our belongings until we moved back into our home, 6 months after we got the boxes, so we didn't realize there were missing items until then. When we called to say we were missing the DVDs that we spent over $700 to have cleaned (we have err had a lot of DVDs) they said it was too late. My guess is they were upset with me when I wouldn't allow them to do the 2nd stage work, i.e. rebuilding my burnt home. But why would I after the problems I had getting my personal property cleaned? Going through a house fire is bad enough, this company doesn't help. I recommend you find another restoration company.

Someone was supposed to come out and look into that but never showed up. For over a year, we, my mother-in-law, and the insurance company requested a final bill but were never provided with one. Then they sent a letter, threatening to sue for non-payment. Never got an itemized bill, she just paid to avoid a lawsuit. Hasn't even gotten anything to prove she paid it. They should be ashamed of themselves, taking advantage of an elderly, disabled woman. And they're lucky because someone else might have fought harder or sued them.

Todd and his assistant were out to do some work at my home this week. Removing two trees in the way…read moreof a new fence, and taking out some dead in a couple more trees on the property. I had also asked for a quote for some work on my neighbor's adjoining fence that she needed done. Todd gave me a very fair quote, was willing to work with me to get close to some other quotes I'd received, and I approved the job. I had hoped that it would turn out well but was prepared mentally for some cleanup on my part. I could not believe the job they did. You wouldn't have even known that someone had cut the trees without looking up and seeing the missing branches. My yard was pristine. All branches, bark, leaves gone along with the tree sections. Just a few little spots of sawdust that the wind will carry away. I couldn't be happier. My yard looks awesome, they did it for the amount quoted, cleaned up my yard beautifully, and even remembered to close the gate when they left. My trees look awesome and so much healthier! No limbs over my electrical service to worry about with this coming winter's ice storms. I would recommend them to anyone, and plan to have them back out to do more work at my place in the future.
