Writing to inform my experience with Jersey's Elite Cleaning. I purchased a couch from a friend and…read moreshe contacted this company to have it cleaned after I purchased it from her. The owner agreed to come to my house after I accepted delivery to clean it. The worker inspected the couch and told them they would be able to clean it on a Thursday, 24 October between 1300-1400. I agreed. The following day they did now show up by 1400 so they were contacted and the worker said they had to stay home from work to tend to a sick child (remember this). The owner of the company contacted me and said they did not receive my address and that's why they did not show up (keep that in mind. More later). They did not call to reschedule. I called them to find out why they did not show (the company had already been paid by the original owner of the couch). They set up a time the following day (25 October) to come clean it and I agreed. During the clean, one of the workers let part of my sectional slip and it hit my wall making a dent in the drywall (see pictures). They never told me about it or said they will make it right. I asked the worker at the end "hey, what about the hole in the wall?" They said they had contacted the owner and he will fix it. They stated they sent him pictures of the damages. I had to call the owner the following day to receive a response. He asked to come the following day to look at it by 1800 and he never showed. I contacted him (text message so I can have proof) on Tuesday, 29 October and he said he had a funeral to go to (sorry for your loss). The owner didn't try to call and reschedule and has been giving me the run around since. He asked when I would be available, I responded and then he messaged back five hours later with a vague response, saying he was in another city. He did not request a different time or day. The couch was cleaned in the sitting area well. However, I did attach pictures showing what damage they left and what they did not clean. Dog hair was left on the back of the couch in the Velcro. Hair and debris was left in the cup holders and storage area. They also asked to use my towels during the clean? The owner said that was their normal procedure, "it's just water." The two workers that came were very nice and respectful (with the exception of the damages). Recommendation: check their work before they leave and DO NOT PAY THEM until they complete the job to your satisfaction. I would NEVER use them again, personally. Watch out for the sales pitch the company tries to use.

Hired this company to do a deep clean prior to moving into new home. After the services were…read more"complete" We went to see how everything turned out. They vacuumed the basement and turned on the "clean" setting for the stove (didn't even clean the ash out when the cycle finished). That's it. $500 for a vacuum in 1 room and to turn on the stove. We were very clear about all floors, windows, walls, ceilings, vents, drawings, cabinets, you know... the works. We ended up cleaning ourselves since the move in date was soon and we have infant twins. Talked with the manager and they refused to give refund for basically no services rendered. They offered 2 free cleanings, which is a joke, because they didn't do anything the first time. Why would we hire them again? Terrible company, poor service, and unprofessional management. This is my first review, ever. But felt strongly enough to carry it through. Overall, they did a…read moregreat job, and were less expensive than other companies. But after a few weeks, I am still upset about: 1. They did not show up on the day they said they would, and I had cancelled an appointment to be home that day. 2. We didn't appreciate the owner telling us not to go out and "annoy his workers". That did not settle well with us. They hadn't even started the job when he said this to us. 3. The painters told me they would cover my flower bed, but they didn't, and I am still trying to remove the paint chips from my flower bed. I had to scrape off the top layer of soil and start over. 4. They forgot to paint the trim on a gable, so I gave the guy an extra $100 cash to come back out and paint it. I don't know what he was doing while up on the roof, but he didn't paint the trim - again. 5. They were not careful about cleaning up splotches of paint on the driveway, porch or steps. Granted, those areas are over 100 years old, but it shouldn't be my job to clean up paint drippings.

Larry…read morewas fired from the job prematurely due to becoming irate and aggressive towards me over a difference in opinion regarding the quality of the work his team did. During consultation we had discussed texturing the walls to cover any blemishes left from the wallpaper under the sealant (e.g., seems, tears in the wallpaper). Larry assured me that he and his team were competent in applying texture and had been doing so for two plus decades. When I came to the house to inspect the work, I found this assurance to be untrue. The texture had been applied inconsistently throughout the home. I had asked Larry to only apply a light layer of texture, as I did not want it thick on the walls. This was not what was done. In some places the texture was incredibly thick, so much so if you brushed up against the walls you were jabbed by it and in some places, it was incredibly thin. In some places on the walls the spray of the texture was so spread it looked as if the wall was dotted and in other places the spray of the texture was so tight that when the workers scraped it giant smooth patches were left behind. Furthermore, there were some places on the walls completely missing texture. In addition to the very poor texturizing job, the wallpaper that was intended to be sealed had not been prepped properly and as a result was peeling away from the walls in places. I had asked Larry to meet me at the property before any work continued because I wanted to walk through the house and point out the areas I was concerned with. When I met with Larry it was very clear he had no intention of listening to any of my concerns. Throughout the entire meeting Larry repeatedly interrupted me, spoke over me, and yelled at me, saying "I can see how you might be confused considering you don't know what you're talking about", and "you are a first-time homeowner, how would you know." I told him my concerns about the texture and stated I wanted it sanded off the walls. His response was to add more texture, even though I explicitly told him that that was not what I wanted. Larry, refusing to acknowledge any of the legitimate concerns I had about the quality of the work, demanded I pay him more money to remove the texture. When I informed him that I would not be paying him any more money, he began to yell so irately is face grew red. Larry became so aggressive at one point his workers had to prompt him to step outside of the house to cool down. When I informed Larry that his unprofessional behavior would not be permitted, and he and his team needed to leave he then resorted to intimidation tactics where he picked up my ladder and slammed to the ground while continuing to yell at me. I demanded Larry leave my property multiple times because he was acting so aggressively towards me. I truly believe if I was someone his own size he would not have talk to me in such an irate and aggressive way, but he knew that he was bigger than me and could get away with trying to intimidate me. As Larry stormed off my property, he made verbal threats to sue me and take me to court. Aside from the fact the quality of work was poor, Larry created a very hostile and unsafe environment for me in my own home. Considering the experience I had, I would never recommend him to anybody whose safety I cared about. There are so many other people in Wichita who offer the same services and I would strongly recommend you consider working with them before hiring Larry West and Co. Painting LLC.
