After looking at all of the fabulous reviews on Yelp to find someone to clean my giant red sectional couch, I settled on SteamPlus. They came on time and wasted no time getting started. I live in a townhouse and they knew exactly where they needed to bring the hoses and cords to make the job efficient. They were quick and the couch is beautiful! Alex and his team member were professional and friendly. Their quote was accurate as well. Wonderful service! Would recommend SteamPlus every time. read more

Wonderful customer service, and great work. Very professional. We will definitely use Steam Plus again!

Alex responded quickly and we were able to set up a time that evening for him to come look at my carpeting. Because of an incident of an unprofessional handyman company that had spilled primer on our carpet, I wanted a professional opinion on if the primer could be removed. Unfortunately, it could not be. Alex was knowledgeable and helpful in exploring other options and I would recommend his services to anyone in the future. read more

Steam Plus did a nice job on our carpets and sectional. He arrived on time and worked efficiently, and offered to match the original price even though he did an estimate over the phone. He also answered the phone from his truck, which got him my business in the first place. read more

First of all, finding someone that's this nice in the service industry is pretty rare! Alex is super kind and easy to converse with. Second of all, he did a fantastic job on our chairs (that are white and are from the 1960s) and a stain we had in our couch. He knew exactly what we needed to do and it worked great. Overall, I'd give him a fantastic recommendation. read more

This was our first time hiring a carpet cleaning service, and we are glad we went with Steam Plus! Alex is very professional. He was on time and was really quick doing his job. We were really impressed with the quality of his service. He did a great job on our carpets. Next time we need our carpets cleaned again, we will contact him no doubt! read more

Thanks Alex! You guys did a great job on our family room carpet & stairs. Your assistant Alex is super professional and polite. He did a great job. Thanks for so quickly getting us a price quote and on your schedule. I had been putting this project off for a while because I thought it would be such a hassle. Thanks for making it so easy and doing such a great job. Thanks for the texts to update me so I could plan my day. I will share your contact info with my friends and neighbors. Thanks again, Sharon Hoffmann read more

Alex was extremely professional. He has top notch equipment and expertise. He transformed our rugs that were soiled by our last tenants into brand new condition. We will be using his service from now on. Highly recommended! read more

Alex was the man. He cleaned my stained riddled white carpets and got them looking good as new. Seriously. Couldn't have imagined they'd turn out better. Alex knows what he's talking about and I could tell he takes great pride in his work and will get the job done. Don't rent a DIY machine. Call Alex and he will clean a carpet 100x better than those things. read more

Alex was prompt, courteous, and responded to my inquiry immediately with a fair price quote. He was easy to connect with--always answering my texts or email questions quickly. He listened to all my concerns about our furniture, cleaned my grandmother's antique chairs with care, and was very polite and respectful of our home by treading carefully on our wood floors. As a fellow small business owner and someone who really tries to stick to the "shop local" mantra, I'd 100% recommend him to anyone in the Madison area looking to support a reliable, local, small business! read more

Once again I had Steam Plus come and do work at my home. Alex was quick to respond and we scheduled an appointment. He was very thorough and left the furniture and carpet looking and smelling clean. Thank you once again! read more

Alex was recommended to us, and it was a great recommendation indeed. He is very personable, very professional, and clearly very knowledgeable about his business. We hadn't had our carpets cleaned in some time. He took his time to look things over, gave us his opinion, his suggestion, and our options, and I'm happy to say we took his recommendation and we couldn't be happier. Our floors look great. The cost was very reasonable and he clearly took his time because our carpets and furniture are spotless. Absolutely, you should call him! read more

I have had Alex clean my carpets for the past few years and he is by far the best. He is always on time (if not early) and takes time to review the carpets with me before he starts work. While he is great on the carpets in the rooms, he is exceptional on stairs. I can not recommend him enough. You will not be disappointed. read more

Alex at Steam Plus cleaned our micro-suede, khaki-colored couch and loveseat. They are 6 years old and over the years our two cats have slept on them so much that there were drool marks that wouldn't come out. They were cleaned yesterday and they look brand new! Alex is very professional and efficient. We'll hire him again. read more

Alex at SteamPlus is phenomenal! I have a 2 year old, German Shephard and two black cats that have pretty much destroyed my sofas. I thought I was going to have to replace them. Before I purchased new sofas I decided to try to have them cleaned instead. I was shocked at how wonderful they came out! Alex saved my sofas and restored them to their "like new" condition! I am so please, even after a couple of months they still look great. He also gave me a wonderful spot cleaning solution that works wonders. My toddler wrote all of her suede toy box with black pen and the spot cleaner took every bit of it off! Great work, great prices and a pleasure to work with, Alex is your guy! read more

We needed to get our carpets cleaned in anticipation of our new baby in April. We have two cats and a dog and haven't had the carpets done in the 5 years we lived here. We have our own Bissel cleaner that helps alleviate problems, but never got the job done completely. We called Alex at SteamPlus for an estimate and he came out to Cottage Grove within two days and gave us an estimate after a 5 minute walk through. About a month later I called to set up an appointment. He was flexible and accommodated the early times we needed. The price for the cleaning was definitely reasonable based on local comparisons I did and the results didn't disappoint. We could see the line in the carpet where he had cleaned and where he had yet to get. The carpets are now much lighter, we can't see the Resolve stain remover bleach spots that resulted from us cleaning up cat puke and the dark grease spot I tried hard to get out is now gone. I would highly recommend Alex. Also, the smell from the cleaning was almost non-existent and our cats/dog didn't notice anything other than some damp paws for a few hours. read more

We had several worrisome stains on both our carpeting and upholstery. Alex and Charles came within just a few days of my call, and were able to get out all of the stains, and the rest of my carpeting looks brand new. They were very thorough, and took the time to advise me on an issue with an area rug, as well as stain treating and pet hair removal techniques. He also alerted me to a potentially dangerous wasp situation going on on my patio door that I hadn't been aware of, and gave advice as to how to best deal with it. I'm so pleased with the results, and will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you, Alex and Charles, for your friendly, professional and thorough care in our home. read more

After checking out the reviews on Yelp, I decided to give Alex a try. I was dealing with a condo that the tenant totally trashed before moving out. I needed to put the condo on the market and so called Alex for help. He not only cleaned the carpeting, which was stained with who knows what, he recommended Pablo to clean the rest of the place. If you need some serious cleaning, I would definitely hire both Alex and Pablo. The place looks and smells great. I couldn't be happier and would definitely hire them again. Professional, reasonable and did I mention the quick turn-around? They stopped by the place on Sunday to assess the work and did the cleaning on Tuesday. Now that's service! read more

Alex is a true professional. He was on time, efficient and delivered what he promised! Can' ask for much more! I will use Steam Plus for all of my future cleaning needs -- I highly recommend them to others. read more

How refreshing to find a small business that actually cares about their customers! After reading the other positive yelp reviews for this company; I sent a request for quote through their website and was shocked to wake up at 7am to a response from Alex - he responded asking if he could stop by to provide an in-person quote. That same day he came by our house, gave us a very reasonable quote to clean 10 dining room chairs and asked when we would like the service done. (Even offering to do it that same day). Alex was very thorough in explaining what he recommended be done for the cleaning, giving us different options and was very knowledgable about the products and processes he uses for effective cleaning. After scheduling him to come back the following day, he showed up on time, was very professional, and did a FANTASTIC job getting our chairs to look like new again. On top of all this, he also left me with a bottle of stain remover (and explained how to use it, what it works well on, what not to use it on etc...). I am literally in shock, as I thought that companies like this didn't exist anymore. I would highly recommend calling Alex and will definitely be using him for any future cleaning needs we have. read more

If anyone ever thought Customer Service and High Quality work were a thing from the past, they can have their faith restored when choosing Alex and Steam Plus. We needed to have two area rugs and our family room carpet cleaned - and in a hurry! We contacted Alex and his responsiveness was unbelievable - stopping over that same day! He walked us through every step needed and provided a very reasonable estimate on the spot and scheduled us for the next day. His work was fantastic! Alex is extremely professional, honest and takes great pride in his work and ensuring you are satisfied with the job. To top that off, we received a Thank You note from him a few days later thanking us for providing him the opportunity to work with us! When was the last time you received a thank you from someone you had to work for you? Alex is on the top of our list and highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and professionalism. read more
